Nice food definitely order again.

Food was very nice, and plenty of it.

Very dirty , hygiene rate -10 I end up in hospital after having the food.

Normally great food but we’ve ordered tonight and are still waiting 1:30hrs after ordering. It’s just not good enough. Time to find another Indian takeaway that delivers. Update: Food arrived 1:45hrs after ordering. Delivery driver was very rude, didn’t say a single word to me just shoved the box at me then walked off. I’ve been quite ill since eating and have had to run to the bathroom urgently twice. Never again.

The food was delicious and ready in time when delivered to me. The service over the phone was great and the curries tasted amazing.

Recipe has changed recently and the curry seems more like a stew, it has hardly any sauce and filled up with onions and vegetables, hoping the original recipe comes back because the new one isn't even half as good as it used to be

The price increases implemented here recently are just a bit too steep to make ordering possible now. It's a shame, because it is a damn good Indian takeout, and a firm favourite of the family. I understand the cost of living has gone up for everybody and am sensitive to that, but my usual order has shot up by around 1/3 of the price it was a couple of weeks ago.

We've been having takeaways from this place for years and have always really liked it. But tonight's meal was completely tasteless, as if no spices of any kind had been used. And one of the prawns in the Seafood Special actually tasted very bad. Such an utter disappointment.

Always amazing food from here. It’s our go to for take out and it’s reasonably priced.

Absolutely awful service.I was threatened with the police after a mix up with my order.(Thier mistake) Sending 2 young lads to my door,telling me in a very threatening manner I had to get in the car with them to go to a cash point to pay for the food they had messed up on.When I obviously refused they became even more rude and aggressive.I'd never order a take away from these lot again.

Ordered a takeaway online. Delivered to an isolated farmhouse 6 miles away but still hot when it arrived. Very tasty food!

Was only a little late and it was new years eve! Food was amazing as always. The Chicken is always amazing quality and so well cooked. The Chicken Chat is ,as always, the best I ever have had at Cafe Masala.

Some good flavours but all far too salty unfortunately

Food was not good; the chicken was very dry, the food was late and cold.

Lamb dupiaza was real good, tender lamb and tasty sauce. Had to drain a little oil but after that was great. Soft fresh naan! Tarka dall was more of a lentil soup which was the only downside.

Horrendous service cold and late worst ever take away.

Fantastic food, hot and really tasty arrived on time despite getting a notice to say it was delayed. Arrived before the tracking even said it was out for delivery

Order placed at 7pm, still not arrived at 9pm , have to leave for work at 9.10pm , tried calling restaurant no response i am not £35 quid down and no communication, original order said 45 to 60 minutes for delivery, had an update saying 8.35 pm now nothing

Food was hot at collection and tasted lovely. Parking for the place is quite poor however and the waiting area is a little cramped. I will return again.

Piping hot & delicious food as always. Brinjal Ghosht, tender lamb with aubergines is one of our favourites. We also tried Butter Chicken & King Prawn Bhuna with mushroom rice and peshwari naan. Excellent. Delivered on time by a friendly driver.

This business accepts online orders, but then never updates you, delivers late, and nor do they answer the phone. Waste of time, waste of money. Avoid.

Reasonably priced at point of purchase but cost me a day's work spent on the loo. Had the king prawn jalfrezi.

This was my first order to Cafe Masala. I only chose them because the Take Away I wanted to use had closed earlier than I expected. They were about 15% more expensive than my usual and they didn't provide any free poppadoms, but the food quality was just as good. If I'm ever stuck for a take away again, I'd use them if necessary, but they are very expensive.

Consistently the best Indian food I've ever had. I always get a lamb biryani and a lamb Naga and both of them are sensational every time. It's so good in fact that I'm going out my way to review them. If you haven't tried this place then you are really missing out. If you like a spicy curry then the lamb or chicken Naga is the one for you. It's very hot and tastes phenomenal. The biryani is the best I've had from anywhere in England. Always full of flavour, veg and meat. And the best part is that it's really reasonably priced too! These guys know how to run a business.

Superb curry, one of the best I've had in a long time. First time ordering from Cafe Masala and I'll definitely be ordering again. The chicken rezala was perfect, lovely thick keema sauce and perfectly spiced. Delivered perfectly on time too👌

One of the best indian take aways around, they have always supplied a top notch curry. You have to be patient as their demand is more than their capacity, we always add 15 mins to their estimated delivery or collection but it is well worth it.

The food is good to be honest but I honestly feel robbed. I ordered via the just eat app and ordered some ‘popadoms’ and they only gave me one! We was charged £1 for one tiny popadom and i called up to be told that’s what they charge for just 1.. every other curry house we’ve been to have gave a generous amount of popadoms for the same money..

One of the best curry houses I've had as a takeaway, thick sauces full of flavour and fresh naan bread. Nice cuts of meats not fatty or anything and loads for your money. A bit confused why there's bad ratings on Google cause ive never had a bad experience from here and I've been dissapointed at most other Indians in the area. Fully reccomend the set meals with vegetable or special rice and pershwari naan

Very expensive for the standard of food

One of the worst Indian takeaways I've ever had. I love spicy curries but this Vindaloo was so hot it was inedible, not like other places at all. Naan breads are really thick and doughy. High prices for bottom tier cooking. Won't order again.

Ordered here a few times and delivery is Terrible!!! They don’t answer phone when you ring to know where your food is. I found that if you select cash on delivery they are somewhat on time but if you pay through food app they take a lot longer!! Also food has slowly gotten worse.

Iv eaten from cafe masala several times but tonight was a disappointment. Not sure what was in the butter chicken maybe off cuts of some kind 🥴 Iv recommended this place to people but I think I might end up with egg on my face. Definitely won’t be ordering again very very disappointed!!!

A superb take away the food is excellent .

Ordered food from here didn't turn up at the time they said we must have phoned them 12 times and no answer. The phone number comes up Bombay mix. They turned up nearly 3 hrs late at 10:45 to late to eat We ordered through just eat and didn't get a refund because even tho we tried to cancel the order they said it had been delivered. Avoid

Waited over an hour after it was meant to arrive, I’ve ordered three times and this has been the case every time.

Ordered on Uber eats. Order accepted and paid for. Hasn't arrived and won't answer the phone. Paid for food that hasn't shown up and can't contact them. If you want to actually eat something I'd reccomend ordering food from somewhere else or cooking it yourself.

We ordered a takeaway online at 6pm says estimated delivery time 7.30 pm by 8 it wasnt here we rang and went to voicemail and came up as bombay mix !! I left a message to ring us but none did. Disgusting service will mever order again . We had to order pizza in the end

Worst Indian take away I have had The food when it turned up was cold the chips wasnt wrapped so they were like stone Chicken pakora was soggy Onion Bhaji was soggy AGAIN Garlic nan had no taste of garlic at all We had 2 chicken bhuna's we would have been better getting them from asda as they would have more taste Poppadoms tasted of oil Waste of money good job we we had 50% off uber eats DO NOT ORDER SAVE THE MONEY

Ordered a few vegetarian dishes. Two pieces of bone in one of the dishes. Disgusting, don't know what you're getting. Order anywhere else.

Had Chicken Bhuna with Naan bread and it was very tasty. Will definitely order again.

I can not fault Cafe Masala. First class food, friendly and excellent service...including reliable delivery at this difficult time. A1, top notch, simply superb.......and I've been through some scoff in my time! X ( very reasonable price too)

Our favourite Indian! We started recently ordering from cafe masala having tried a number of Currys from s11 area, however this one is defo our fave. Good portions well priced and friendly service. The meal for two for £20 is good value. It comes nice and hot and never swimming in oil and grease. Good flavoursome chunks of meat - we always have lamb Rogan and chicken Madras. If we want a curry we always order from here now ☺️ keep up the good work guys.

I love this place! I recommend the vegetarian biryani and the saag bhaji is delicious. Never too greasy and tastes like real Indian food in India. Generous portions too and inexpensive ❤️

Very below par. Starters were cold. Curry was cold. Additionally, now strapped to the toilet as a result of this indian food. food poisoning is not what you want on a sunday morning

Good food though I think that prices in takeaways are based on a percentage of restaurant prices rather than cost plus reasonable profit. Fish and ship shops are the same but have increased portion sizes which I'm my case is not desirable. Overall prices are high.

Always order from here but it's the last time I will. Ordered it at 18.00hrs for 19.25hrs. Just rung at 19.40hrs and told it will be at least 20.00hrs. And only explanation is they're busy. 2 hrs is not acceptable! It's a monday night, not a Friday! Used them for at least 6-7 yrs but done now!

The food was nice but all 6 of us that had it was ill the next day and we all had different meals , not very high standards

Food is honestly tasty but the service is extremely poor, like didn't deliver what we asked for poor and when I went to complain I was told to leave and they didn't want me as a customer. Like I would have gone back anyway.

Ordered from here before and food was good. Just ordered today and to say the least poppadums' tasted very greasy and old, the food was very spicey hot and was supposed to be medium. The best part is, you pay for delivery and the driver doesn't even get out of the car, he calls you and asks for you to collect it from him, if I wanted to do that I would have saved £1.50 on delivery and fetched it myself. Sorry no more.

This used to be the best less than a year ago but suddenly its all gone wrong and im sad about that.Last time I walked in there one of their goldfish had died and was floating on its side - very off puttingFood is poorer quality more expensive and was lukewarm. Sad.

Food is always fantastic, but delivery ALWAYS lets it down. over an hour late, when i rang them to ask where it was, they seemed unconcerned at the length of time. if my food is over an hour late, then how long has it been cooked/stood being kept warm?? is it still safe to eat? i would rather have them phone me and say its going to been late and ask weather i still want it. i might have planned to go out/have people coming round. a bit more consideration is needed.

By far the best indian takeaway in sheffield, been ordering from here for about 2 yr now and never had a bad curry yet. Pretty quick delivery, and the meat is always very tender and the sauce really thick and flavour some. Everthing I've had gets A++++++++ Definitely worth a try
