I’ve wanted to try here for many years after being recommended it by a customer. It did not disappoint. The chicken jalfrezi was fantastic, lots of meat and not all sauce. Really good value for money, very clean and not pretentious. We will definitely return. Thanks so much.

Great place. We popped in for a late lunch and it was quite busy. Both staff members were pleasant and extremely helpful. The guy explained the differences between parota fillings and helped me make my choice. Food arrived quickly and was piping hot. The parota was buttery and crispy and delicious and the accompanying yogurt had a great texture and taste. The BEST sandwich was huge and extremely hot as well. The fish pakora was enough to feed a family and was fresh and crispy and spicy. Overall, a great lunch, nice staff and we will definitely be back. Only negative was we didn't know where to park as double yellow lines outside.

If you are Punjabi and want a good paratha, this is the place. I am a regular visitor and love this place and taste. Amazing team

Lovely venue and good for hosting events. However the Madri on tap is not Madri...

Had two bad visits and customer service skills are rubbish

Walked in yesterday for a mixed grill and the rude owner tells me to take my hat off as i was about to order, customer service skills are awful. Glad i didn’t get a chance to order popped down the road to Desi Yew Tree for a better experience and much better food, good on you for losing a customer Jacks.

Great food and lovely atmosphere, highly recommend. We had mixed grill, chicken curry and black Dahl all cooked to perfection could not fault the food.

10 out of 10 on all aspects of atmosphere, food, selection of drinks with an excellent service by all the staff and management and owners.

I am not exaggerating when I say this place is a vibe and has the best aloo pronteh and also। kebabs। I must recommend it honestly it's so special। Best in west midlands। I've tried it all। Shrek kebab can't be matched। Good quality ingredients, price meat and size

Great place to for a Sunday morning breakfast- we were spoilt for choice, so we had a mix of west meets east! Good service, lovely masala cha. Definelty will go back.

Great place to eat. Very clean and impressed with the interior. The food was spot on, very tasty and fresh, the prices are reasonable too. The staff were pleasant and friendly. How have I not been here before? Will definitely be coming back to try out other foods.

1st time using jacks today breakfast was amazing

Some may turn their nose up at the location/ external appearance. But don't be fooled, amazing food, great staff. Interior is always clean. A Jack's curry is always a treat!

Given 5 stars if I could advise to make things even better needs a sign above toilet entrance several had to ask Also when waitress brings your meal no cutlery you have to get up and fetch it could be put on table or brought to you

Visited before a Wolves game, it was pretty busy but the manager sorted us a nice little booth with a tv screen showing one of the live games. Good selection of food available and a nice comfortable experience. The food took a little while to arrive but to be expected with how busy the place was. The food was decent, we had a mixed grill and a couple of curries. The mixed grill was nice - tandoori chicken on the mixed grill was brilliant.

My family and I went here last night for a meal before the wolves match. The food was absolutely gorgeous. We ordered chicken tikka, lamb curry, mixed grill sizzler, chips, rice and keema naan everything was hot and didn't take long to come out after ordering. Great atmosphere love the booth's with their own TV screens. Lovely friendly staff

Fantastic cafe and bar just up the road from KK's Steel Mill. Food was excellent, I had a chicken tikka wrap, which was very tasty and packed full of chicken and salad. Staff were very friendly and polite. Great atmosphere with loads of tellies showing the football. Will definitely go again when going to a gig at KK's.

First time eating in This establishment and have to say the service was really good the staff friendly also the drinks were good . Food was a plenty on the order and piping hot when brought to the table . If anyone is looking for a very good meal and at a quite reasonable price you cannot go wrong visiting here

Went to a function in the room above the bar. Lovely place for small parties. Food was absolutely lovely and the staff and service was excellent. Going to go back with the family.

Popped in on a Saturday night for pre gig food, having not heard of the place previously. It was really busy so we we're lucky to get a table. We ordered a sizzling mix grill, butter chicken curry , chips, and naan bread. Every part of the meal was delicious and full of flavour. Having previously tried this type of platter elsewhere, I can say that this is the best. There was no dry meat. It was all cooked very well. The butter chicken was a nice surprise, and the sauce was very tasty. At £37 for the food, the price was great too. Would definitely recommend 👌

The seedy outside does not reflect the lovely food we all had. Not been before because it does look seedy and unpleasant. But was fine inside and staff were nice. Parking is an issue so leave an Extra 10 minutes extra. Food was very good

I've been to Jack's bar about 20 times. Always a good feed. A great atmosphere. Nice clean tables,friendly staff and a decent menu. A pool table, fruit machines, a bar, big tvs what else could do you need. I've been both mornings and nights. It's worth a try. Check it out.

Highly recommend to come here for the pratha. The mulli (radish) one for me is the best but also had the aloo (potato) and Gobi (cauliflower) which were also made fresh and tasted great. Definitely will be back again. Good service and nice atmosphere around. Definitely come here for breakfast or brunch.

The large fries are very good and very large. Perfect. Burger pattie could be thicker.

I thought the manager was too stern and pretty rude especially to other customers that only wanted to play a game of pool curry was way too hot like a madras n asked for a lamb curry.. but the sizzling mixed grill was 10/10 only thing letting them down was the rude manager. He needs to let he's hair down move the tables abit further away as I could hear people's conversations.

Wasn't welcoming at all, drinks where terrible and didn't refund, staffs language towards each other was inappropriate infront of customers, no body checked if the food we ordered was ok. No customer care or satisfaction

I've been to over 30 different mixed grill places. And omg, when I tell you. This is by far the best. The lamb is to die for. I wish I wasn't from London, would be there every day.

Love this place went in pre match Monday. Had a courtesy call from Jimmy to say if we were going to the game order early as they're busy. Food was lovely, paid £48 for 4 of us our table was literally loaded with food I also pop here for a brekkie when I get a chance as I live a few minutes away. You can't go wrong. Great value, friendly staff

Excellent food, really enjoyed it but given stone cold plates which took the edge off. Ate straight from the serving dish instead.

We ordered some overpriced take away. A little daal portion was 7.95 and it was very highly overpriced for what it is. Food tasted below average and we wasted our money .

I'm George and use to live in Wolverhampton..Now Worcester. Let's put it thus way.I come all the way from Worcester from time to time to have an Indian style breakfast. Parathas with yogurt. I can't think of any place to beat it.

One of the best breakfasts I've ever had. Huge portions, really well cooked and tasty. Staff really friendly. Amazing value. Worth seeking out for breakfast, not sure what it would be like as a bar.

Great food, good atmosphere, speedy service

Sports bar type place. Lots of big screens showing the cricket. They don't serve food between 2:45pm and 5pm. This is not made clear on their webpage. We went elsewhere for food as they weren't serving any, came back for a drink and was told we could only have a table until 6:30pm.

There’s this one pathetic woman who works here thinks she’s bad saying to customers oh come in and say it to our face like leave the gangster life love your nothing! This woman is the biggest liability at jacks shes always rushing the order always gets it wrong. Must be someone’s wife there the poor chap has to bring her to work! Dw love next time I’m in I’ll say it to your face and then we will see how far your gangster attitude goes. Why do you even bother going in and taking the call trying to say oh it’s busy thats a you problem not the customers issue! How pathetic this woman is probably in her 50’s and got nothing better to do that get orders wrong and rush the order like she’s gonna go to some mela! Watch who you threaten your not in the 80’s thinking your all that. Jacks cafe and bar there to intimate their customers when they get things wrong! What a joke.. pity food quality is 10/10!

1st visit as recommeded by friends. Order at till not an issue. Atmosphere mild. No recomedations from staff. Ordered full English (£7.75) which comes with Black Pudding (not fond of), asked for it to be left off and iff any alternative available ie eztra egg or something. Advised by staff member this is chargeable as i am making a change. So if an item is removed and its costing the restaurant nothing i would have expected some alternative. Speed of food coming out was less than 5.mins which is good. Will i come back? Maybe not

Exceptional service and very enjoyable

My husband and I stopped by at Jacks on sat 30th sept in the evening, as a pitstop before a gig at KKs. The place was absolutely heaving, but also had this amazing atmosphere; they had the football on as well, you could pretty much see a screen from every part of the bar. Despite the fact it was packed to the rafters, the chap who met us at the door went out of his way to find us a spot and we enjoyed a quick bite and a bevy before heading off. The burgers we had were fantastic, and incredibly good value. Next time we're up for a visit to Wolverhampton, we'll definitely stop by again but will probably book a table. Thanks so much for having us!

Not great experience. Small place, very disorganised and very slow service and a bit of an attitude from some staff. Overall, below average and not worth the wait. Wouldn't return.

My first time in here and it won’t be my last! Sunday prota with tea and the cricket on. How Desi and reminds me of Sunday’s growing up! We had prota and saag with lassi and it was amazing! The place was very busy, staff were constantly walking around checking and serving. Atmosphere was good. Well worth another visit!

I'd say the place itself is beautiful, atmosphere was dead maybe because it was a sunday. Food was lovely but could have done with the air conditioning with the hot weather inside.

Wonderful food, great service and a pleasurable atmosphere mostly. The only drawbacks would be the location and parking can be an issue. Otherwise, it is fantastic.

Really enjoyed the food and drink's

This is always a popular location for some desi Punjabi food! Mix grills, curry’s, chilli chips and lots more. They are famous for for their delicious parathas! Plenty of seating area inside and a private party room upstairs. Staff we great and friendly, service was quick. And they have their own car park so no need to worry about where to park.

Love this place, trust me you won't be disappointed Menu, great breakfast, lunch, or dinner ,great atmosphere, family business clean environment

Popped in here in between shows, staff were great, drinks were reasonably priced.

My friends rave about the Paratha here so I gave them a try after a morning Park Run. The place was very busy with diners tucking into their breakfasts. I ordered Aloo Paratha for take out and was advised the wait was about 30 minutes which was fine by me. They were worth the wait - huge is an understatement! Freshly made and seasoned really well with perfect accompanying yogurt and achar. I will go back for more..

Popped up to the area to pick up a car from a local garage but had to wait around for a while due to a bank issue. Was recommended to come to Jack's for food while we waited. Was expecting a grubby little cafe, but found a five star dining experience... Heck, I've been to a five star restaurant which wasn't as clean as Jack's! While the food wasn't gourmet dishes, there was nothing to moan about with even the basic dishes. We ordered Sausage, beans and chips, but the portion sizes were great. I could barely finish my food. Usually you would expect a dish like sausage and chips to be greasy in a cafe, that wasn't the case. They really made the effort to make it as healthy as they could. Also, they do an evening menu which includes a lot of bar food like curry's etc. I didn't try these, but would expect they would be great going by what I saw when I was there. The staff were also friendly and helpful. running around to make sure the place was being kept clean an tidy the whole time we were there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area or visiting.

Regular jacks bar user, but went today for food got put right by the door with my child we were cold as people were in and out and asked to be moved and was told no then another group of 3 came in and we’re put in a more suitable place after we got told no. The staff were very rude.

Really good food in a friendly environment. Loads of different food and drinks. Highly recommended and have been back since. A great favourite with the locals
