Great drinks with London 15 quid prices, but the drinks were good. I wish it was quieter though, hard to hear the person next to you.

Really friendly and small club (we only stayed upstairs!) So we popped in here basically desperate for a drink and sit down. Turns out it's a hidden gem. We sat at the bar and got a cocktail and a beer. The bartender (I didn't get his name unfortunately) was really friendly and chatted with us for a bit. Put MJ on as well which was super cool! And then we came back after watching our musical and had another cocktail and beer. Still as quiet but we did see people filter through to go downstairs (never want but was told it's a more clubby vive). Also both cocktails were great. First one had black pepper as a garnish which... Was definitely a first for me. Really tasty though. And the 2nd was an extremely creamy coffee type cocktail. Just a little gutted we hadn't found this place sooner!

Had my 30th party in The Red Room at Jack Solomons Club, having been here for a wrap party previously. The run up to the party ran smoothly and Kate, the events manager, was helpful and attentive in answering any questions I had. The night itself was good too; We played our own music, had our own bartender, they let us stay a little later after closing, good vibes and it was a great room hire for 40-ish people. I had put £400 down for canapés, which were absolutely delicious - particularly the cheeseburgers. Unfortunately though, it didn't feel like £400 worth of food. The BIGGEST disappointment was, some of the gifts guests brought were alcohol and unable to be brought into the venue, as per their policy. Fair enough. But they were accidentally left by me and my husband that night; having to carry home 2 cakes, giant number balloons, cards, other gifts and a backpack we had brought with stuff for the party in. Also, we had a few drinks and, in the chaos, they just got left behind. When we contacted the venue, they kept saying someone will get back to you and we waited and waited until my husband contacted them again. They could then only initially find one bottle of champagne - which had supposedly been smashed during clean up and they said they were going to replace. They were then asking us what other bottles they were looking for in order to find them... We don't know as they were taken at the upstairs door by security, so we never physically saw what alcohol it was as the club is downstairs?! Short of texting every single person to ask if they had brought a gift for me and what it was, which is embarrassing, I'm not sure what to say or do. And, if they were left in one place for safety, they should just all be together there in the morning, no? Security/ the venue knew these people were my guests, as the bar is a speakeasy, and they would have mentioned this on the door before coming in - so everything should be together. No one should have touched them and you shouldn't have to 'look for or find them'. I would also suggest it is any bottle with the name 'Amy' on the tag or card. The next day, one of my friends mentioned that, for some reason, the gifts were stored next door in Sophie's in a cupboard under the hostess stand and that she had seen several bottle gift bags with cards with my name on in there when she dropped her gift and card off. Which we relayed to management. Only one other bottle was recovered and no cards. Management then tried to say that some guests had described the bottles/ gift bags to security and then "taken the bottles away with them". Just why? Why would my friends take a card and gift belonging to me that they had bought FOR ME?! Then, not only that, why did a couple of my friends (who's gifts were missing) ask if I had got them the next day if they had taken them? That doesn't even make any logical sense. ...So it would appear to us that some of the staff and/ or security had a nice, free drink on my friends. Fair enough, we did forget them at the end of the night and we take full responsibility for that part. But if you're going to take gifts off people, as per your policy, at the very least ensure safe storage for a few days until they come and collect their 30th BIRTHDAY PRESENTS!!! Particularly when their group has spent thousands with you. Totally uncool and unacceptable.

What an absolute gem this place is! Alan, the member of staff who looked after us, couldn’t have been kinder or more efficient if he had tried! The food menu might not be huge, but if you love a burger, have one of theirs. It has spoilt me for all other burgers. I also had the buttermilk squid, which was delicious. The surroundings are unique, there was a good atmosphere and the music was just the right level for conversation. Even the ladies loos are cool! If I lived in London I would visit often, but I’ll have to make do with going when I can.

Shocking attitude towards customers! We arrived just before our booking time, to be told that we wouldn’t be allowed in as two of our were too drunk… Challenged this, as we had only been to one pub before the reservation, and were certainly not too drunk- the bouncers picking out one of the group as being ‘visibly too drunk’ - he’s teetotal and hasn’t touched alcohol for 5 months!! Another was picked out as probably being too drunk due to the fact he slightly tripped down the curb whilst trying to navigate the small pavement and avoiding the oncoming crowd & cars!! Attitude to us was rude and simply based off of two guys seeing our group for 10 seconds before turning us down due to the above issues! Luckily I went to speak to the ‘manager’ to make sure I wasn’t charged, glimpsed into the venue which looked lacklustre and boring despite being 9:30pm- akin to nightclub scene in the inbetweeners film (no one downstairs!) Avoid this place, a better time was had at ‘Waxy O’connors

The bar is a vibe but it is very loud and we went on a night with no live music - could hardly hear my friends. Would not go here on a date as wouldn't be able to talk which would be so awks. Also, had to pay a service charge when I went up to the bar and ordered a drink. Confused. There was no service?

One of the best bars I’ve been to in Soho! Stumbled across the bar on a Thurs night and sampled most of the delicious cocktail list which was well recommended by our waiter Christian. Also loved the live music that was on later in the evening. Such a great bar!!

One of the best places I’ve been to in London! It was recommended to me by some friends and it didn’t disappoint! You wouldn’t even know it’s there, which is another reason to love it, nothing better then finding a secret little spot. Amazing drinks and atmosphere, the staff are so friendly and helpful if you’re struggling what to choose from the cocktail list. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful speakeasy style underground cocktail bar in the middle of soho. Had no idea this place existed before we stumbled upon it and so glad we did! The drinks were delicious and they had some great live music playing too. We went as a group but it’s also a perfect date spot, with booths where you can tuck yourself away. Definitely recommend!

Really Great Gem In Soho. Get There Before Everyone Discovers It! Went on a Thursday night with some friends and was so suprised by the almost secret entrance! You Will See! There was awesome live chilled music, which set up a great vibe for the dark lighting and glamorous decor. The drinks are classy as hell & what was nice is all the staff seemed to be having a great time too. Will def return and check out some of the DJ’s next time x

I have been to Jack Solomons a few times now and it is definitely on my go to list of bars in Soho. The perfect location for drinks with friends, for a good night out and also a great spot for some live music! They also have some great events on so it's definitely worth keeping an eye on their social media. Lovely staff too! 👌🏾🥊

I came across this hidden gem on a works night out. You walk into a small kiosk and immediately think you're in the wrong place. But the hostess points you through a secret door and you head downstairs into an incredible club that has a mix of Soho in the 90s and Studio 54 vibes. An extensive cocktail list and the friendliest staff. You can sit at the bar, in booths or on comfy lounge seats... or if you are more the type that can't keep still (like me!) there's plenty of room for dancing. I would definitely recommend this for after work drinks, birthdays, friend get togethers. Ring the bell!

Last evening we went as a group friends 9 in total to the restaurant. The quality and the quantity of food was poor. When we complained to one of the member of stuff, asking to see the manager or chef, no one came to us to explain or apologise! Definitely Won't go back ever again. ☹
