Jack and Beyond in Hammersmith and Fulham

Elegí Jack & Beyond porque necesitaba un lugar no muy lejano para llevar a una señora de 77 años para su regalo de cumpleaños y sus reseñas de pasteles se veían bien. Ella había solicitado cake & scones y le envié un correo electrónico a J&be para verificar si cuál de sus dos conjuntos de tés sería mejor para entregar ambos. Dijeron el de los bollos y fueron muy serviciales cuando pregunté si los macarons se podían sustituir por otra cosa, ya que mi amigo no sabría lo que eran. Las dos mesas de al lado recibieron una hermosa y colorida variedad de pasteles - sin embargo, nos dieron una selección beige y roja aburrida que incluía 4 pequeños bollos cada uno (¿por qué? ? ¿quién puede o quiere comer 4 bollos? ? ) y dos pequeños dedos 'brownie - esque' (uno rojo y otro beige, ambos con el mismo sabor) cada uno. Pregunté si los pasteles todavía estaban por venir y me dijeron que eso era todo. Le mostré al miembro del personal el intercambio de correos electrónicos donde había pedido muy claramente pastel (es una pastelería! ) y me dijeron que no podían hacer nada al respecto pero que podíamos comprar algo de pastel si queríamos un poco. A más de £ 5 por rebanada ... además de las £ 46 para la miserable selección de bollos y bebidas calientes. Nuestra primera bebida (una taza de té y un chocolate caliente) tardó 28 minutos en llegar a las 3. 28 pm - así que habíamos comido algunos de los bollos secos, con el mini plato muy pequeño de crema ya. Pidieron disculpas por el retraso, pero también arruinó el evento mientras conversábamos sin rumbo tratando de ignorar que estábamos... siendo ignorados. TAN decepcionante ya que me había puesto en contacto específicamente con ellos para pedir un combo de pastel y bollos, y obtuvimos una cantidad ridícula de bollos pobres solo, mientras que los pasteles de al lado se veían muy bien. Aparentemente hay una foto en el sitio web que muestra el té establecido, pero después de haber tenido lo que pensé que era un intercambio de correo electrónico muy útil con ellos, pensé que había acordado un combo de pastel y bollo. En ninguna parte dijeron 'no conseguirás ningún pastel, a pesar de que somos una pastelería! ' Un regalo especial de cumpleaños, totalmente en la sartén.

Nos gustaría ir y reservar el día de la tarta sin fondo en uno de los días más calurosos del año, pero no importa! Todavía fantástico, excelente servicio amable. 90 minutos de tanto pastel y bebidas calientes que puedas tomar. 7 pasteles para elegir. Alrededor de 20 tés y cafés. 1 de los pasteles es de temporada. Todos son absolutamente deliciosos y en mi humilde opinión, alrededor de 4 o 5 rodajas por persona y se rellenará! Soy más grande que la media y he conseguido 8 rodajas habiendo decidido probarlas todas al menos una vez. Podría haberme decidido por 5. Comemos afuera. Los tés y cafés eran increíbles también. El récord es de 22 rebanadas. No es tan grande como pensábamos. Lo que no tiene fondo es un truco, pero qué truco fantástico. Hace que todos hablen y quieran visitarnos. Y bien vale la pena. Cree en el bombo. Pero tal vez visitar y tomar un pedazo de pastel y un café antes de ir lleno como lo hicimos. Sin embargo, no hay remordimientos y disfrutamos visitando esta zona también. ¿Mi pastel favorito? El pastel de queso. 2 de nuestra fiesta dijeron que el pastel de zanahoria y los otros 3 tenían diferentes favoritos. ¡Todos son increíbles! Gracias Jack y Más Allá!

Excellente petite pâtisserie avec des gâteaux moelleux et savoureux, à manger sur place ou à emporter. On a testé le gâteau aux carottes et cannelle, celui aux bananes et chocolat beurre de cacahuète et la tarte aux noix de pécan : tous excellents ! Site Internet très bien fait, où les amateurs de sucre pourront découvrir le « Bottomless Cake Deal » qui permet, pendant 90 minutes, de manger autant de tranches que souhaité des 7 différents gâteaux proposés à la carte, pour £22 par personne.

I had the most wonderful experience at the bakery! Celebrating my birthday with bottomless cake and hot drinks was an absolute delight. The cakes were divine, especially the cheesecake which quickly became my favorite. The hot chocolate was rich and satisfying. The staff were incredibly friendly, making it a truly special birthday celebration. Highly recommend this bakery for anyone looking for a memorable and tasty experience!

Such a lovely Saturday with delicious bottomless cake! We were greeted and served by Sophia and Caitlyn. Excellent customer services, extremely accommodating and flexible with our times as we were running late. Cakes were delicious and not too sweet. We travelled all the way from Essex/ East London and it was worth it! Can't wait to come back. Thanks ladies for a fantastic experience 🥳❤️

We had bottomless cake and it was amazing. So many tasty cakes. We tried all seven cakes. We liked the chocolate cake te most!

We came because we saw the bottomless cake and hot drinks deal on Instagram and wanted to check it out! The atmosphere was cheerful and adorable and the selection of cake was impressive! Usually they have 6-7 types but we were lucky to try 8 different slices. We had 90 minutes but as they weren’t terribly busy they let us sit for a bit longer. We made pleasant conversation with the wonderful staff member and his trainee. We thought we could finish more cake than we did (the record is 12 slices) but it was so rich that we really struggled. We had some scraps left over but almost finished the 8 between two people. We only ate a small breakfast and did the 11am sitting to optimize hunger. We mostly took advantage of the hot drinks - we tried the flat white, dark hot chocolate, multiple teas, and even tried the specialty lattes in a few flavors. The tea was fantastic, as was our Americano, flat white, and hot chocolate. The cakes were all pretty good but the carrot cake stood out by far, followed by the double chocolate, lemon/elderberry and cheesecake. A sweet business worthy of a visit. Enjoy!

To whom it may concern What can best be described as appalling customer service what can be accurately described as theft which I will be standing by, this is the review I have posted. It is highly accurate and very generous. Your staff today should just be fired. Taking money from people, then when showing staff clear email bookings and confirmations to be tossed out of your establishment is a recipe for closure as a business. As a business owner myself I have deep sympathy for the difficulties of handing a business across to junior staff at weekends however what we experienced today was beyond appalling and will significantly impact your business. Regards Tim Having booked Jack and Beyond for an overseas visitor on the 16th October. Then having received my confirmation email yesterday. We arrived at the venue on time having trekked across London traffic to get there. The two ‘delightful’ servers promptly refused to honour our reservation despite being able to show them all of the correspondence and the deposit paid. We were summarily despatched on our way. So if you want to be robbed of your money and treated like a bad 1970’s cafe this place is for you. Such a bad experience I can happily say I will never be back. Sent from my iPhone

Visited jack and beyond because of the bottom less cake offer and we thought we were prepared. First piece easy, second delicious, third started considering our life choices, fourth we got butter in our veins and fifth we gave up. All of this is only mentioned with love, we really liked this small café, very polite staff and such a calm atmosphere, if were knowing friends travlling to london we will let them know of jack and beyond.

I ordered a carrot cinnamon cake and then a pecan pie additionally for my mother's birthday. The cake and pie were delicious. Not overly sweet and great balance. I received many compliments on them The customer service was also wonderful. Great communication and transparency. I ran into an issue with delivery, but it was communicated clearly and got a small treat as an apology. I highly recommend this bakery and would gladly visit again

A great little cafè where I took my mum this year for “Bottomless Cake & Fizz”. With 90 minutes you get to enjoy as much cake and Prosecco as you can! My mum isn’t a fan of Prosecco so they let her swap her bottomless for coffee instead which she was very happy with. The staff were so accommodating and lovely and even let us take an extra slice of cake home. It was also great to see that the cafè is dog friendly and even offer dog afternoon tea!

I only discovered this place not long ago after checking out TooGoodToGo. I have tried a few of their delicious cakes and brownies, and finally some of their pastries. Everything is delicious, the staff are so incredibly warm and welcoming - you really feel like you’re wanted in there. Excellent service, always smiles and great coffee. You can order cakes for any event in several sizes or simply have a slice. The carrot cake is the best one I’ve ever had, and I really LOVE carrot cake. Also recommend the danish with raisins - it’s delicious. Can’t recommend this place enough!

This is my favourite place in the area! It such a nice spot for a treat: coffee is good (with different milk options too) and the cakes are to die for! You can have a slice or buy a full cake.. They have loads of varieties, from the classic victoria sponge and red velvet, to the seasonal ones, to vegan ones. I have tried a few slices now and I have never been disappointed. And the brownies? Just amazing, so full of flavour it's really hard to stop at just one! Staff is really friendly and bubbly, I just love this place and will continue to visit!

Everything at Jack and Beyond is really high-quality. The coffee is fantastic, their chocolate chip brownies are incredible, and their brunch menu is really wonderful - I had chorizo and beans with a poached egg on toast today and it was delicious. The staff are also lovely. I'd highly recommend.

Relaxing , fantastic cake made in the spot. Great coffee. No extra charge on the alternative milk which is a huge draw and no offence but no dogs when I went shaking hairs all over my food and drink . Very very very nice staff.
