Love this place food great staff excellent

Here's the updated review: I was really disappointed with my visit to Regal Fish and Chips in WGC. The fish was old and crumbly, with an off smell and no taste at all. It actually made me feel sick. Plus, it was overpriced. The staff force you to pay in cash instead of allowing payment by phone or bank card, which seems odd and dodgy. They even have laminated paper saying 'we prefer cash.' The staff was moody, which made the experience even worse. I would NOT recommend this place to eat!

Stayed one night for work. Room 8. First of all, and what stands out most is the excellent customer service, staff were attentive and friendly. It makes all the difference The room was clean and well equipped. Downside was mattress far too soft and sagging, perhaps base not supportive enough, felt like I was just falling into the middle all the time, really does need an upgrade to something a little firmer/more supportive. It's an old building, so prob not a lot can be done about noise from room to room, so if you are sensitive to noise, ask for top floor, so you don't have to listen to people moving above you. But it was otherwise quiet and the bathroom was wonderfully equipped with excellent shower. Water/tea/coffee/biscuits provided in room Wonderful breakfast, and lovely coffee Many thanks
