Ivory Café in East Staffordshire

Absolutely fantastic food, service and flipping great value for money. Would recommend this place for anyone who wants a cracking curry. Thanks for the meal.

Order here often: great food, arrives quick, and good value for money. Tonight they sent the wrong order by accident - they sorted it out quickly, no fuss, and made it right. Highly recommended.

Terrible!! Over cooked prawns under cooked chicken waited ages for starters then ages for mains left half as it was inedible! Much nicer restaurants in town!

Amazing butter chicken with pilau rice and naan. Took a few take outs through uber eats and delivery was fast too ( about 30 minutes)

Placed an order for delivery via justeat, rang and told me too far to deliver as only deliver maximum of 7 miles. I am 5.5 miles!

Very broad menu of Indian and Bangladeshi food. Food very good with good portions.

We were staying at the Premier Inn and walked into Uttoxeter for meal. We called in by chance and were given a warm welcome - a party of six adults and three children. Staff friendly and service prompt. Food was delicious and not overly expensive. We had a lovely night. Would recommend anyone staying in the area to go there

Always amazing food and service in Ivory Cafe. We’ve become somewhat of a regular as our orders have been remembered by most of the team there, very nice to be looked after the way that we are. Raj is always polite and welcoming, along with the rest of the team and level of service there is wonderful. Clean, music is not too loud and very quick on the cooking. We’re both vegan and they always make a little change for us with the curry we order. As always, we will see you again for another curry. Josh

I had a lovely takeaway meal from thw ivory Cafe. We had a chicken tikka masala, chicken tikka murghi masala and 2 naans. The staff were fantastic and so friendly. The food was amazing. My murghi masala was the nicest I've had. Always love this curry and it was perfect. The bombay potatoes were delicious. We will def come again. See you next week :)

Delicious food and good service. Server was very polite. The naan had a great texture to it and my dish, some sort of mint lamb, was almost exactly what I was looking for. The only thing I'd say could have been better is that the dish could have been just a tad less sweet. Excellent experience and would stop here again if we found ourselves in Uttoxeter.

Staying in Uttoxeter for a few days and tried this out. Food was delicious and exceptionally cooked to my taste as i asked. Definitely recommend.

I genuinely have no words. One of the best curry places I've ever had the delight to dine at. Proper, proper authentic, made in house dishes with friendly staff and good music. Don't consider anywhere else if curry is what you're looking for.

1st time we have used ivory Cafe, was recommended by friends, currys ordered last night and they tasted amazing. Chap on the phone was really pleasant and the delivery driver was too. Can recommend ordering from ivory Cafe.

This place has just been given a 1 star food hygiene award by the council with instructions they must improve immediately, avoid.

Absolutely terrible. My girlfriend had ordered a meal for herself only to be incured added charges out of the blue. When the ordered arrived, they took payment without saying the order only to have delivered the wrong order. Having ordered a chicken korma, what arrived was a chicken curry. Once we called this establishment we were shown its truely terrible service and was basically told it was our fault for not checking the order and that payment had been taken. This could have simply been sorted by remaking the correct order. Not only that but the quality of the food was disappointing at best. The curry was exetremely watery and bland, the rice seemed like they had microwaved last night's and the chicken starter was cremated. AVOID AT ALL COST! Divine and indian spice are much better curry house's.

Eaten here for many years, love sitting in the window watching the street, pint of cobra, fantastic food and staff are brilliant. We have eaten elsewhere, but guess what, we always prefer here. Well deserved 5 stars

Had a lovely curry here. Went with my daughter and a friend after uttoxeter races and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Lovely friendly staff and all at reasonable prices.

My first visit. I'd been told how good it was. We had Poppadoms as usual, followed by Chicken Pakora, Yummy. Chicken Tikka Masalla, Tasty, with Keema Pilau Rice, Cheese and Keema Naan Bread and Chips. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment. The Staff were exceptional. They looked after us. Ambient Atmosphere. Definitely be going again.

Curry wasn't to great !!! It was bland and lack of flavour sauce was like water not good at all avoid !!

One of the best Indian's I've had, almost as good as Anoki's on the A38. Friendly guys who serve.

We were staying near by in accommodation after a trip to Alton Towers, we were all tired and hungry, the lady at the accommodation suggested a takeaway from here, we were so glad she recommended the Ivory Café as we had a brilliant take away there was a lot of food all beautifully cooked and presented it was one of the nicest takeaways I have had and the chicken pakoras were fabulous, I wished I lived nearer as I would be going there all the time.

I sat down to a nice meal with my girl friend when she started chocking and pulled a dirty cigarette butt out of her mouth, this was in her food, it was disgusting, they quickly snatched the plate from her and still wanted me to pay for mine. That is the last time i eat in an Indian restaurant thats not the first time that has happened, I found rat droppings at another place. You hear these stories but never think it will happen to you.
