Itsu in Kensington and Chelsea

It's a shame. I used to come to itsu king's road to have my dinner, and I always order Thai Chicken with no veggie. Unfortunately, today the people in this shop let me down by saying that they cannot make it "out of the standard". Team leader and possibly an assistant manager (as she wasnt wearing uniform) said the same thing. What could possibly go wrong if you just dont serve a scoop of g'ng in that cup? I honestly dont know, and I used to work in itsu for few years as a team leader. That sounded just they wanted to finish the pots ready in the hot pass, instead of making a new one, cause I came to this same shop last week and I was served as usual. I truly hope someone kind enough in head office read this comment and take some action. It's not that hard to get a bit flexible when a regular customer order something. Julian Metcalfe would never let that happen

Catena di ristoranti di cucina giapponese con stile fasto food. Può andar bene per uno sfizio veloce e senza pretese, ma la qualità è anche limitata. Piatti al limite del congelato e una montagna di plastica nelle confezioni, che secondo la filosofia del locale è riciclata, ma che in realtà va a finire nei rifiuti indifferenziati. Visitato una volta per curiosità.

I’ve enjoyed Itsu rice pots before, but today at the King’s Road branch I encountered a serious problem: the Thai chicken rice pot was not properly heated. I realised after a couple of mouthfuls that the chicken was only lukewarm and therefore not safe to eat; some of the peas were actually cold. So I took it back - at first they were reluctant to exchange it, saying the bowl was hot so it was ok. When they understood the problem they offered to make me a new one, but to my dismay the same problem occurred - the chicken was simply not heated through properly. I took it back again and asked for a refund. They agreed to this, but only after trying to convince me nothing was wrong (seriously? Have they not studied food hygiene?!), and telling me “no one else has complained”. There is a serious food safety issue in this restaurant which they need to address before they can be trusted again.

Absolutely terrible service. Staff was extremely rude and spoke over us all the time. Very low standard. Far from the Itsu I visited 10 years ago.

Staff was extremely rude. Very unprofessional using mobile phones whilst serving. No smile and speaking in their foreign language. Food wasnt too great. General customer service not provided.

The food was of usual standard, which I enjoyed. Social distancing measures were not great. I understand the constrictions but no sauces available.

I often dine at Itsu in New York. As I am often happy with my New York meals, we decided to try the Itsu on Kings Road. I quickly found out that the menu was not impressive...nothing like New York. We settled on a wrap and salad which were good.

Never seen Itsu before - but we loved it! Only sorry we didn’t find another one in England on our holiday. Food fantastic! Hot & cold food fantastic & so tasty. Loved how you could walk around and choose your own food. Eat in or take away. Very quick service.

Doesn’t have a revolving table, have to get sushi from fridge which comes on set platters. No place to put soy sauce when you sit in.

I was a bit disappointed by the picture as the place is just a small shop of a bigger chain that sells sushis. Sushis are quite good but I would advise the place to change the picture of their profile as people tend to believe that it is a nice place to eat.

good sushi at great price, fast service... what else do you need? on the stateside, I am craving for their sushi. especially salmon delight.... it is nothing fancy, but fresh and fairly priced. I hope they come to the states soon...

So thankful that a stranger on the Underground shared about ITSU Once I heard, my tourist plans were based on which ITSU I would go to that day! A huge help for me, financially, was when I was told that the last half hour of business, some of the food prices are slashed in half! So I ate & bought even more than I had planned 50% every night - one half hour before closing! Zero food waste! <3 It was delicious & yum I LOST weight on my holiday! ha ha ha Maybe courtesy of ITSU If I had to share one thing, I would say it would be nice to get a package of ginger or an extra soy sauce included with each purchase. This location in Chelsea was very nice & friendly (about it) The two on the Strand seemed a little tighter I ate at 3 or 4 different ITSU locations in one week! This is pro-tip for London! ps PLEASE come to Los Angeles! pps I RESPECT your views about zero food waste! <3

I come here like 6 times a week because I love sushi and never disappoints. Best of itsu box is my favourite. Apparently you can get hot food too!

We stopped in Itsu on Kings Road in Chelsea on our first night in London. Just looking for something good and nourishing to eat. We both got chicken bowls and they were very good. We were there when the pre made sushi was half price...

A great place for a quick, easy, fresh and tasty lunch - just what was needed for sustenance and when we were watching the clock. Really enjoyed it and will return soon.

Really good place, looks a bit fancy from the outside but isnt. Serves other things than food with fish. Pretty healthy food, says how many calories there is in each portion which was a bit funny. Figured out there was free water which was amazing!...

Itsu is always fabulous, it is lovely to have another local branch available to us. Always fresh, always tasty, always quick and easy to pop in and pick up.

ITSU standard Japanese food to take away or quick lunch. Fresh veg - fruit smoothies are great! I love mix sushi box.
