Itsu in City of London, Westminster

There is an Itsu store opposite Aldgate Tube station and I was peckish so I decided to pay it a visit. It was at about 7pm and my order was prepared really quickly for me. It was really tasty! The restaurant was clean and tidy and even though it was early evening in the City there were still a few people enjoying the food. There were staff about as well making sure tables were clean and ready for the next customers.

Nice place, help yourself via ordering machines, sushi pretty ok, hot dishes really delicious, price is fair.

Go in with the right expectations and Itsu really hits the spot. I dined at a couple while staying in London and much preferred this location--less busy, very clean, and with self-ordering kiosks allowing me to set my own pace and review the menu at my leisure prior to purchasing. Itsu makes a great lunch spot (or even a protein-packed, light dinner, when you're in a pinch). With a wide variety of soups, pots, rice dishes, and sides to choose from, I certainly ate my fill. My noodle pot arrived piping hot with tender cuts of chicken, slick noodles, and fresh vegetables mixed in a savory broth. My Veggie Dragon Roll partially fell apart during eating but I relished every bite and would purchase it again. Edamame carried that salty-sweet, vegetable-green crispness and saved well until the next day in my refrigerator hotel. And the mango cheesecake mochi--oh, the mango cheesecake mochi! The perfect balance of firm and soft, supple to the touch and dusted with a tangy-sweet cheesecake coating, it tasted almost like a cool creamsicle battered in brown sugar crumbs. I would gladly return for another helping, especially around lunchtime!

Muy conveniente cuando viaja a través de la estación de Algate. Personal amigable. Teníamos el gyoza vegetariano y tazón de fideos. Estaba delicioso. Uno siempre puede depender de una experiencia Itsu.

Llamé por primera vez y me encantó. La señora detrás del mostrador fue muy servicial. Las bandejas de sushi se veían fabulosas, pero era una noche tan fría, miserable y lluviosa que quería algo cálido y reconfortante. Terminé con los bollos de pato Bao y la sopa de pollo con coco. Precioso, pero demasiada comida.
