Itsu in Crawley

Huge and very busy branch. There is a lot of seating. The long line moved quick. Good selection of sushi, salads, soups and more. I had the salmon sushi which was fresh, light and perfect before a flight. Not cheap but sushi never is! Seats are all communal on high stools. Not the most comfortable to sit for long. My difference between a 4 and a 5 was that service was pleasant and efficient but could be friendlier. Branch was dirty. I understand their busy but they need some staff to clean tables and floors. Would recommend otherwise.

Fab selection of sushi and hot dishes. Great tasty things that are not too filling before you fly. Loved the chocolate hot buns. Also great selection of hot noodle and rice dishes.

We ordered the breakfast with freshly poached eggs leek and spinach based on an attractive photograph outside. What we got looked like a bowl of dishwasher water with leaves floating in it. The freshly poached eggs were like last nights hard boiled eggs and we didn’t find any leeks. It was edible but dreadful and nothing resembling the photograph. The place was empty and I now know why.

Excellent, fast, friendly service. I came here after a very disappointing experience in Wagamamas and they put a smile back on my face. Delicious food. Great value. Thank you! 🙏

The teriyaki chicken was amazing and it was really fast and good service. Good prices and very good for a quickie airport place. Even though it’s cheap it offers very nutritious food.

The staff don't seem to know what's going on or how to answer simple enquiries. The food is overpriced and insipid - they rely on sauces on the table for any flavour. You're better off going somewhere else.

When I arrived there was no-one behind the counter and the screen above the counter which usually displays the menu was in darkness. A girl emerged from the kitchen with a mouth full of food and a biscuit in her hand. Clearly, the biscuit was more important than my custom and she continued to eat it while serving me. I could not hear what she was saying. A young man appeared in the kitchen area so I communicated with him regarding the choices available. Itsu is my go to place at airports but after this experience and being charged £3.75 for a tepid, half full cardboard container of cappuccino I doubt I will be going there again.
