Disastrous experience I booked a table for Friday the 29th of July for 3 persons. On the day of the lunch, I received a text asking me to confirm my booking. We arrived at the restaurant and it was closed. There was a lot of mail on the floor which made us think that it had been closed for some time. I contacted the restaurant on instagram and by email and I have not received any apology and compensation. I also called the restaurant numerous times. This is disgraceful! One of my friends lives 3 hours away London and travelled especially to go to this restaurant. No one from the restaurant informed us it was closed and have contacted me since. So it is terrible experience!!! I have never experienced this in London before and I have been living here for a very long time! https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g186338-d23969509-r853629913-ITALIKU-London_England.html#

Cocktails slightly different and delicious. Menu small but every item carefully and cleverly a mix of japanese and italian - not a mix I would have thought of but it works well. I have only had interesting, attractively-presented and, most importantly, delicious food here. We were 4 last Saturday - our husbands ordered the de-constructed Tiramisu but we wives were too full. Luckily, they gave us spoons as it was fantastic! The espressos were good, too: too many good restaurants end one's meal with burnt or under-steamed espressos. The restaurant is attractive inside and the staff are friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

It’s less about fusion and more about the hyphen. An Italian-Japanese menu designed by the double hyphenated Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in an opulent joint replete with marble floor, blue skylight, illuminated cocktail bottles and wine racks aplenty. All designed by the rather scantily named Maria Mirea. Cocktails vetted by NHS Direct courtesy of the improbably named Nicolas Medicamento. Hot Dinners advertised 50% off food during a soft launch period although it was explained on arrival this only applies to a minimum of two courses from the a la carte. So I began with the definitively Asian prawn tempura featuring four long juicy battered morsels with mayonnaise on top. Lamb cutlets could just as well have been English but for the aubergine bed on which they sat and the miso sauce on top. A side of potato millefoglie was a substantial battered cannon with creamy potato inside. A dessert called milk and honey featured yoghurt and a Dulce de leche both drenched in honey with a crunchy biscuity tuile on top.

The barrista Nikki was so lovely. I made a mess up on my order (fault of my own) and she made me a new drink. Thanks for making my day!

Quiet place in a residential area and very friendly Italian staff. Quality food and good portions. The grilled goat cheese and truffle arancino starters are very tasty. Rich pasta seasonings, cavatelli with lamb ragout and tagliatelle with mushrooms and very tender fried calamari. Finally a good Italian coffee. Absolutely recommended

Service was okay. Food tasted good but not hot as I like it. Decent Italian food.
