Italian Job in North Lanarkshire

My wife and I stopped here for impromptu fish chips a d fritters... Wish we hadn't, just disgusting fritters, all batter whick was soggy and greasy, the fish was even worse if I managed to find any.. Probably the worst I've ever seen, not eaten just binned. Would have returned it only too far to go. A MINUS ZERO OUT OF 10.

My regular chippy has went down hill, ordered food small fish supper and a sausage supper and a roll and fritter all on the hot plate just jad to wait 25 minutes to get my food luke warm dry and not much taste as freshness has gone. The owner was in told him about my delay when only 4 other in front all waited similar times hes not interested said we have lots of deliveries not seen one person leave we were all waiting outside wont be back bring back the gondola, the Italian job stinks poor food and poor service

This little chippy is an unknown gem. In my opinion it’s the best chippy in the Motherwell/Wishaw areas. Every time my family has ordered from here we have not been disappointed. This place deserves more local recognition. Everyone should give this place a go. 10/10 👌🏻

Literally the most friendly staff ever! so welcoming and polite!! The food was also delicious!!! Highly recommend

Food mediocre, service appalling Decided to try this fast food shop as it’s under new management..... wish I hadn’t bothered! You’re made to feel like an unwelcome annoyance and the staff are too busy discussing their personal lives to be bothered to serve you, and when they decide to acknowledge your presence ( and it’s a miracle if they get the order right) they go at a snails pace, I’ve heard the saying slow and steady but this is slow slower and stop making the customer feel as awkward as possible in the process! The food is mediocre ( and I’m being kind here) and if you want to have half of your chips freezing cold as the person who closed the box couldn’t be bothered ( ah that’s right they were probably far too distracted with their personal conversation ) to ensure they were all in the box before closing the lid!! Then this is the place for you!! Maybe the chips are embarrassed and trying to escape!! The advertising photos of the “munchie boxes” on a well known social media site of the food crammed into the box unfortunately is a good reflection on what you can expect Fast food at a snails pace!
