I thought the mixed hoagie would be donner and chicken tikka but it was donner and some sort of roast chicken which wasn't very nice...

got the student special and requested donner and chicken tikka on the pizza and was given a container full of donner which turned out to basically be a box of grease. opened the bag and the grease was everywhere.

The food was great, especially the chilli sauce. Slightly disappointed by the size of the salad - it was fresh and crispy but way too small.

The order was wrong , one kebab had chilli on it lots of chilli , we ended up having to share one and throw the other one in bin as we cant eat chilli , very disappointing, came all the way from fife , didnt want to have to drive all the way back

20 mins early but still waited 45 mins for this and for it to be the wrong order was disappointing I ordered 2 different kebabs ans got handed 1 kebab and a small chips, chips were clearly reheated and the kebab way very chewy and covered in greease

Came here at the end of a day out drinking. I did not have high expectations, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Despite it being close to closing time, everything was very fresh and well flavoured.

Friendly staff, amazingly tasty food on a great value. Would recommend to anyone. Top class. Months later, after numerous visits, I can confirm that the place is as good as always and keeps high standards of food preparation.

Only a small complaint that I received one portion of salad when I had paid for two and the pitta bread was a bit hard. Apart from that the food was lovely and there was loads of meat inside my mixed done. the delivery service was quite quick too.

The service was shockingly rude, and I couldn't believe how they treated me. Not only was the staff unhelpful, but they also physically hit my hands away. This behavior is completely unacceptable and has no place in any establishment. I would strongly advise against dining here

I've visited Istanbulie on and off for years. Great kebabs and chips. I quite like their cheese pizzas which are basic takeaway style but hit the spot. Very seldom have I had any issue with an order.

I had a very nice lunch today in Dundee from Istanbulie take a way restuarant. Mr. Kamil who served us was so nice and geretuse. The grilled lamb lebab wrap was really delicious. I ordered an extra chicken shawarma wrap to eat it home in the night but when I took a byte from it after I finished the lamb kebab ... I couldnt stop my self only after I ate it all🌞

Absolutely disgusting just picked up 2 chicken doners 1 donner & 1 pizza. Cheese and pineapple pizza was ok although you can't go wrong with that. But one bite of the chicken kebabs spat out tasted Absolutely disgusting. The donner wasn't any better hard chewy bits. If i hadn't got back to the hotel I'd have taken them back...vile

Got mixed kebab,doner meat was nice but chicken a bit rubbery,chips,cheese and curry sauce gd,got bottle juice which was warm,was delivered early.

Ordered food over an hour ago 11.56pm. Phoned the shop as they close at 1am have been trying them for about half an hour now and no answer. Seems like they have all went home. Still waiting on my order and have to get up in the morning with a 4 and 5 year old!

Cant understand why this place is so highly rated. Visiting from Inverness and saw this place as I was going for a taxi home. Ordered a king mix doner kebab. Hardly any salad(more like slaw mix), underneath what can only be described as mediocre doner meat and definitely not chicken doner. Flavourless. Also barely any garlic sauce. Would go as far to say it's probably the worst kebab I have ever tried. Must be better places in Dundee

Food was early and everything was really tasty as usual! The only thing was that I ordered 2 tins of fanta and got 1 tin of irn bru which I can't drink due to the caffeine and the 2nd tin was missing

Amazing kebabs, shwarma is so tender and full of flavour, they didn't have onion rings my girl wanted, they called straight away and apologised and offered something else, she picked garlic bread, delivery driver arrived and couldn't of apologised anymore if he tried, loads of garlic bread resulting in a happy 4 year old. Plenty meat in the kebab I ordered not just all salad like most places, will continue ordering going forward, thank you guys for great food and great customer service

The chicken kebab was a large and was £12, the portion was definitely not large! The cheesy chips were also not the best. Overall the meal was pretty expense for what was delivered.

Asked for doner kebab everything on it got a plain hard kebab! Chicken burger was burnt to the point it crumbled in my kids hand! The burger itself wasn't even salvageable ordered Coca-Cola got handed pepsi? All for £26! Absolute joke wont be back your food has been enjoyed from my bin thanks for that

Terrible portion size and food was some of the worse I’ve had. This place used to be good.

Lovely and clean takeaway. Staff very welcoming and friendly, on arrival. We wanted a quick chicken burger and felt that, not only was the service great, but the quality of food was really high. Compared to other takeaways, the burger was fried and then grilled off - Tasted delicious. Chips were cooked fresh to order abs were not greasy or soggy. Would definitely recommend! Will be using again on future trips to Dundee… keen to try the chicken kebabs, after seeing freshly marinated chicken in fridge!!

The worst place to get a Chicken Kebab! It was dry, and they put so much sauce that it does not taste good. Ordered Mozzarella sticks - they forgot them. And they overcharged us- because we were drunk. CONMEN

A good kebab shop. The Showerma made by Istanbul is one of the tastiest showerma in Dundee. One should also try the vegetarian foods made by Istanbul, they are superb especially the Tomato Pizza. The only concern is the waiting time. The average waiting time is 15 minutes for grand orders. But the food is good. It was very crowded when I visited the shop.
