Istanbul Mangal in Wiltshire

Got takeaway for large doner and chips and a large doner. Overall tasted good and was a good portion size and even offered complimentary rice on the house. The interior seemed a bit outdated and can be rennovated. The owners are the same as Istanbul Grill in Malmesbury.

Ordered large chips but got small and at £6.50 I’d definitely not buy chips again from them. But the kebab was great.

Good price and Great food, plus loads of it! All kebabs cone with rice and salad. Arrived earlier than stated which another bonus and friendly driver. First time I have ordered and will do so again.

No longer order here since they started using dog food for the kebab meat. We thought the meat was off and ordered another ice and that also tasted like dog food, all leathery and horrible. What a shame

Ordered online. wrong food turned up cold. okay mistakes happen But couldn’t even rectify the issue correctly Ruined what was a overpriced meal so gave up ! Only positive delivery driver was polite obviously not his fault

I would like to leave a five star review for this kebab house, however twice out of three times I haven't received my full order. Last time the wrong kebab was delivered, containing items I was allergic to, and today no rice was delivered. Today when I attempted to ring up to rectify it, the ringer didn't stop. Overall very disappointed.

If I could, I would give them zero stars. They messed up our order and refused to correct it. Looks like I'm going hungry tonight. Don't order from them. They are very unhelpful and accept no blame when sending the wrong order.

The doner kebab was nice the rice on top was nice that's a new thing thay do. The men how served me were nice the language barrier was anointing. But nice place

Ordered for home delivery, come and it was so dry. Apart from the salad. I was wary about the rice so didn't eat it, my partner and the dog did and both ending up with a bad bellys the next day!!!!! Won't be ordering again

accepted my order on uber eats charged me and just didn't deliver I wouldn't bother ordering from them if you actually want food......

We ordered here for the first time tonight, because our favourite kebab place is closed for refurb. The food was so good, and the options for personalisation on the online ordering system was brilliant. Absolutely cannot fault that. But the customer service was atrocious. My husband was made to feel like a massive inconvenience from the moment he stepped in to the shop, all he got was attitude from the guy serving. He was huffed at because he doesn't have a contactless card. So we won't be going back again, we'll be going to the lovely chaps next door.

The best online kebab ordering system I've ever encountered. Also food is good. Chili sauce is good. Garlic mayo is good. Cacik is good. It's good.

Excellent Food, The lamb doner kebab was delicious. The Mixed Grill was cooked to perfection, Chicken Wings grilled so nicely and good quality meat. We regularly collect from here but they even delivered to us happily even though we are over 5 miles away. Thanks so much. Excellent to deal with on the phone. We recommend to all and will certainly be ordering again. 5 stars!!!

Food's alright but needs better preperation, cheesecake was frozen and chips not fully cooked. Also chicken wings were very spicy despite being labeled as plain.

I will never order from this place again. After ordering food from here previously & having had a good experience we were happy to order again. However, after being called by the restaurant to say no one answered when the delivery driver came, I insisted that the delivery driver had not been but was told that what I was saying was untrue. They eventually agreed to have a delivery man come back, to which cold food was delivered & part of the order was missing. When phoning to ask when the missing part would be delivered I was greeted with worst (& rudest) customer service I have EVER experienced - I was told that the missing part would not be delivered & that if I was not happy that was my problem. I was then hung up on.... twice! No offer of refund, no apologies.... Utter disgrace of customer service.

I love love love the burgers and onion rings from here they are delicious in fact for cooked food it is brill. But... Twice I have ordered the cake and both times it's been stale and plastic tasting. This time round was especially bad as I ordered cheesecake and received an inedible piece of fruit gateau... I don't know whether that was an honest mistake or not but either way it should be edible if I'm paying for it.

Funny thing come all the way to Wiltshire from Surrey for a holiday staying in the Nice Bowood Hotel .they couldn't fit us in the restaurant even as a resident ! Then proceeded to ring top 7 restaurants pub on trip advisor all booked some not even open ( government discount probably the reason) ended up having to have kebab or starve ! . Comes with nice salad and rice I had combination kebab very tasty least it saved me 100 quid on the Bowood restaurant but not sure my partner was so impressed

9/10 times bloody love Istanbul but what’s the point in having a phone if you don’t know how to answer it ??? Also turn your website on, on time please ! Bloody starving

I visit this place often on the day time - the old man treats me well - I get a very nice lamb shish with nice salad and beautiful bread - the chilli sauce is awesome, he his a very decent man - a very old school gentleman and I respect him hugely. I have visited this place at night but the young boys serving are ignorant; that's life though - I will always visit in the day time

There was an issue with the ordering system, when using the website and was charged 18.80 but unfortunately for legal reasons nothing could be done at the time and was asked to pop to shop next day, arrived showed my bank statment and after a quick phone call I was offered a full refund or a fresh order, well I love the food here great place and staff so naturaly when I smelt all the lovely food Being cooked my fat belly won the battle couldnt praise this place more also very nice to see the tables and chairs actualy being used in a place like this and not empty during the day only to be filled by half asleep drunkards at night, amazing place amazing staff highly recommend! :) :) Thank you guys. :)

This is a sad review with a heavy heart, these guys have just ruined my faith in them, I recommend them to my friend and they messed up, which is fine but then they refused to fix it They have lost a very good potential customer and a long term existing customer

Delicious! Meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection. Kebabs come with salad and rice separately, as well as pitta. The rice is seriously tasty too. Quick delivery and friendly service. Our new favourite take away in Chippenham.

I rarely write reviews but this is easily the best kebab restaurant in Chippenham. Excellent food, service and generous in their portions! Will definitely be coming again soon.
