Istanbul Kebab House in Waveney

Owners/workers fly tip their rubbish on country roads. Multiple industrial barrels of oil, industrial food tubs, order taking notes, receipts, old pizza boxes. It's factually and easily verified it's their rubbish.

Crap service. Crap food, rude staff. Don't give a shit.

Cold and awful food. Absolutely disgusting. Save your money

Usually always good food but last weekend was a disaster. A man and a young lad were serving, was told 15 minutes on the phone but got there and had to wait another 40 minutes, salad on the kebabs was rationed and there was a weird bloke from out the back that kept eyeballing me, very uncomfortable experience which has really put us off. Hope it goes back to normal soon.

Sorry to say the Margarita pizza was awful the cheese was burnt on top it was tasteless we only managed a slice each of our 12"pizza and the rest went in the bin. Well worth the drive to Lowestoft to chick king

Always really tasty and freshly cooked food at good prices. The full range of kebabs, also pizzas and chicken and all the extras. Good size portions. The Mix kebab is a must-try. I haven't commented on atmosphere as it's a takeaway, but staff are very friendly and I'm always greeted with a smile. Will continue to be a regular.

Brilliant kebab and also brilliant chicken. Really fresh, tasty and will always use them.

Chicken shish kebab was ok but chips had obviously been re heated a few times and were tasteless. Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't use again.

The food is very good don't think I have ever had a bad meal the staff are very nice and polite

Ordered a shish kebab. I got 5 small pieces of meat in a wrap (not pitta) with a sprinkle of salad! They didn’t even attempt to bulk it out. £7

5 star because the whole food is so good and so fresh

Great chicken kebabs, have definitely missed the Istanbul since moving from Halesworth. Great value and excellent quality food.

Lovely pizza and the fried chicken that we picked up on the way home. Don't leave it too late near closing time as restrictions on what you can order. The food we had was of a good standard and would go back there in the future.

Terrible the portions Were meagre the food was cold and the chilli sauce was out of a bottle we will not be eating here again.

Great food, always tastes perfect and fresh! Friendly guys too just a shame they don't deliver!

Had a seafood pizza never been so ill

Who i got serviced with was grumpy, i would of like some chips with my salt, chips under cooked. I see why people only eat kababs when drunk after eating what I had. Definitely not worth the money i paid.

Food wasn't worth half of what I paid! If I could I would give 0 stars, I'm not local and I'm very surprised where all these positive reviews come from... Ordered large shish kebab and to be honest 8 tiny pieces of lamb may be enough for those skinny chaps at the shop but if I'm paying £8 for food I'm expecting to eat some meat as well not just salad in soggy pitta and tasteless and dried chilli... Just get you some other take away these reviews are more than likely to be fake

Can't beat a local kabab? Chicken isn't the best like they use to be but everything else is nice. The chicken isn't like all crisp like kfc chic, there's have barely anything on it.

Friendly staff. Döner Kebab is very good, same for the portion size.

This place! Really good kebabs, but the pizza I ordered was swimming in orange oil!!! Wasn't very pleasant. 3 stars because their kebabs are really nice, but avoid the pizza! I tried another one to see if it had the same problem, and it did!!

Great food but communications are very poor and orders don't come as asked. Ask for garlic mayo and end up with chilly sauce, and portion size is always different :/

With the surroundings of a picturesque food market and culture oozing through every street it becomes even more of an impressive achievement from Istanbul Kebab house to place more carrots than a field full of snowmen in almost all of the dishes. General banter amongst staff also a definite area for improvement, with the humour being as bland as the chicken. Overall a solid 3 stars.
