Istanbul Grill in Woking

Excellent kebab. Really impressed. Chicken/lamb doner kebab. Meat really tender, juicy, but not oily. Ordered online for collection. Told me 15 mins would be ready, and it was. Would recommend/use again in the future. Thanks. Solid 9/10

Although I ordered a small chicken shish small wasn't the word. A little bit of cabbage and onions. One quarter piece of tomato and one half slice of cucumber, bread was bit hard the chicken was small chunks and dry. Chips were nice but again such a small portion. My local kebab shops when you order a small are three times the size and packed full of chicken salad and a small chips easily feeds at least three people! Portion sizes definitely needs to be reviewed. I was hungry and this meal didn't fill me up, infact I doubt it would fill a child up either! Won't go back in a hurry

I have eaten here over many years, almost every time I pass through Woking, this is my go to place. Really like their half pounder burgers and seesh kebab chilli sauce. Now under new ownership, but food is still good. Have had lunch and dinners here many times, always great

Came here with a friend as a last minute lunch before we broke up for Xmas. My friend had a lunch special which was a wrap with fries and a drink all for £7.50 which was great value. I had chicken kebab which came with rice, salad and hummus. Th y don’t serve alcohol but you can bring your own at a small corkage charge. Really good value for money and so tasty

The Quality is by far the best in surrey not many places still make there Doner meat from scratch but this place does and you can taste the lamb and the thickness and quality of the meat would highly recommend

We came here by chance on our way to the station. And we were SO glad that we did. The food was very good. The owner, a very nice gentleman, was there and helped us. We really enjoyed the food.

Very good quality kebab, pleasant service and a reasonable price. Well worth a visit on the way back from a night out.

It was completely crap. I just want some meat and fries, I asked if they could crisp up the meat. What they gave me was soggy and the fries were not cooked either. I think the problem was that they were much more interested with a large order that they had received by phone. Don’t use this place.

So, I’ve been visiting this place for years. To start with, mainly about 2am after a skinful but even then I knew it was good and the staff are very friendly. Now I’m a little more civilised I go there for a nice post-gym takeaway. Their skewer kebabs are AWESOME. I go mixed lamb shish and chicken tikka with chilli sauce and garlic mayo. Huge portion and absolutely meatishly delicious. So pleased we have such a bangin’ kebab shop in Woking!

Excellent in every way clean friendly welcoming Turkish Grill so much more than your usual kabab shop with great food home made doner not a commercial mass made frozen hash. You can taste the quality and freshness in everything. The chilli sauce is the best I’ve ever had home made and served warm. From my 5 year old son to my 89year old father we all loved eating at The Istanbul Grill.

Welcomed warmly. Had chicken doner and doner. So yummy and of course who could forget the garlic sauce.

Went for a visit here this evening. £10 for a large doner and Can of Coke. Portion size was smaller then a small kebab elsewhere!!! About a handful of meat and hardly any salad!!

The chicken doner wrap has always tasted great whenever I've been here! All the staff I've come across have been good to me as well.

Love coming here the owner has been here over 30 years and takes pride in his food its spotlessly clean and the food is high quality they make their own doner meat here and you can actually taste the lamb unlike a lot of kebab shops that just buy from a factory and it doesn't taste of anything

Small Chicken kebab, no bread or chips, just sslad. Might just be kidding myself here! The kebabs are excellent but the chilli sauce lacks a kick. Nice guys and good service. There is a small cafe style seating area to sit in and eat. It has been where it is for 30 years and recently nominated for awards.

This is one of my sons favourite takeaway restaurants. In fact, he has converted us all as the kebabs are of really good quality, nicely cooked and pleasantly served by the proud owners of this Grill. The first thing I noticed about this take away restaurant is how sparklingly clean it is. This speaks volumes about the attitude of the owners and how they take pride in their business and clearly want their customers to return. The meat is of very good quality, very well cooked and seasoned, the salad is super fresh. Very healthy portions, trust me on the chips, go for the small portion unless you have someone to help you out...

Good food I had mixed kebab it was very tasty and good price fed two people with it and we're both full

Fantastic little kebab shop. Always looks clean and the food is always fresh and tastes amazing. There a a few tables and chairs but the takeaways are excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Fantastic value for a very tasty meal.

Hemos estado recibiendo tomar escapadas desde este lugar (bajo muchos nombres diferentes) durante años. La comida es de alta calidad consistente y las porciones son generosas. Sin duda la mejor casa es en Woking y pueblos de alrededor y posiblemente el mejor de Inglaterra.

Sí, es un Kebabby, pero es una goodun. ingredientes de alta calidad que están recién preparado. Buenos chicos detrás del mostrador. Mejores kebabs en Woking. ¡Seguid así!

This is the best Shish Kebab I've ever had & Isa the manager is so friendly. Nusret has been there since I was a child in nineties!

We were looking for a recommended takeaway kebab place in Woking at 10.30pm on a Sunday night but we found it close - despite it said online it was opened till 11pm! So we went then to the town center and we find this takeaway. I have to say they do very nice kebabs (I had lamb and my boyfriend had chicken) they make it with the ingredients and sauces that you want, it wasn't spicy or too spiced (as sometimes they put so many spices they completely change the taste). We had it wrapped and we ordered some side chips and houmous - this last was really tasty and came with side naan bread. Overall it was a really nice kebab takeaway, that closes late as well, even on a Sunday night. We will be back!
