Island Vibe in Manchester

The food was great, we throughly enjoyed eating here. The staff were lovely, honestly have no complaints. I recommend it!

I wonder how many potential customer have looked at website opening hours and found out Island Vibe isnt opened???..My Friend and I went at website time stated at 12:30 to find out doesnt open till 3:00pm!!.But no notice/signs anywhere to inform customers of opening time.Customers =money= support business.

Firstly let me start with the good points 2 for £10.00 on some cocktails is good Food is very well presented and very tasty Pleasant waitress, tried her best to give a good service Bad points Service slow, even though restaurant was not overly busy Food portions very small, not been there for about a year and the portion sizes have decreased quite a bit but the prices have increased. I have no real objection to price increases as this has happened everywhere but the portion sizes should not shrink if the cost is going up! I did order desert and specifically told the waitress to ensure we were given a decent portion and they duly obliged. Had I not done so I doubt the desert size would have been satisfactory. Overall whilst the food was very tasty I am not sure I'd be in a rush to return based on the pricing and portion sizing which needs to be seriously looked at, especially the Seabass portion which was more like a kids meal........

Food came out separately, had to get my main jerk chicken reheated to then be told later on that one of my mains was not going to be available. When addressed with lady waiter she was extremely rude and refused to take sides off the menu as did not come with meal

We booked to come on the last minute (as usual!) but found this to be fantastic! The menu was a little reduced due to being about to be changed. The only negative is that we could have been told which dishes weren’t available before ordering. However! This meant I ordered the Ital Stew instead of the seafood curry. I couldn’t be happier! How they don’t have a queue out of the door for this dish I do not know.! The prawn starters were also great. Highly recommend coming here and we’ll certainly be back.
