Really nice food , polite on the calls and always on time, can’t appreciate more. Big 5 form our family.

Had my first meal from here last night, garlic chilli lamb, the lamb must have been the oldest lamb in Derbyshire, tough and full of gristle. Not the quality I expected.

I had fried chicken and chips , I know English meal, but it was just 6 chicken cubes and the chips were hard . Won’t be using them again !!!

Excellent food and service, speedy delivery. Lamb Rogan Josh & chicken korma, large onion bhajis & pilau rice & egg rice. Nice peshwari naan & a good size nice & fluffy,Fresh side salad crispy & mint raita. Plenty of food, very enjoyable, well worth the price. Thank you

The food here is absolutely delicious and as a takeaway, easily matches/beats any sit down indian restaurant in the area. Prices are typical for current cost of things and service on collection is always good. We’ve eaten from here several times so happily to make a recommendation. Only small grumble was last time the yoghurt and mint sauce that came with the mixed kebab/poppadoms tasted like toothpaste. Have had this before and it’s always been delicious like everything else so not sure what happened then. Other than that, will be eating from Ishmaels again and again.

What an absolute joke of a place! The delivery Guy couldnt be arsed to get out his car and bring the food to our flat door when I have a child in bed and can hardly leave him in bed when he is just over 1 years old!!! And I spent iver £37 on an order! Avoid these at all costs !

I’ve known Ishmail for many years and he is such a lovely guy, you are always greeted with a big smile and he is always friendly, as well as this his food is always really good, the quality for money is great and it’s the only place I will ever go to for curry and this takeaway definitely deserves more recognition.

I come here all the time it's my favourite Indian the food is really good, can't be beaten 😋

Order rung in at 18.16 still no food. Ishmails prioritising mess about customers while I have been patiently waiting hearkt 2 hours late. Ended up cancelling. Not prepared to eat curry over 1 hour later cold thanks!

Been going for over 10 years best Indian food around Chesterfield

This was my first time ordering from here, I explained how I liked my chicken balti and lamb Tikka a masala, coming from Birmingham I know a good curry. Staff very friendly and Food Excellent. Highly recommended

I always order the same meal from them which is chicken korma egg fried rice poppadoms and a naan bread and it never disappoints very tasty food!

Ishmails a right sound lad. I love the vindaloo and the Mrs loves the chicken tikka jalfrezi. Ye would definitely recommend. 👍

Absolutely awful, neither the tikka and korma had ever seen a spice, the most bland Indian I have ever had, only way I could tell them apart was by the colour of them, I will not be ordering ever again!!

Nice staff, lovely food, consistantly brilliant.

Bloody awful, half oforder missing. Phone constantly ringing out for 30 minutes and some times being hung up on. Finally got through and offered a discount on our next order. Never ordering again. I mean how can an Indian miss out the rice!! **missing items was eventually delivered but by this time our curries were cold so went in the bin. Delivery driver was lovely though

Ordered off just eat arrived at time said food was hot and very nice my Makhan chicken could have just done with a little more chicken in and a bit less sauce but but otherwise lovely will order again from here

Husband's curry nice but I ordered from their English dishes chicken and chips. Half a dozen dried up tepid nuggets in a bag of tepid chips.

Very poor service! Says on just eat app they will deliver up to 5 miles, anything after that is £1 extra to the delivery driver. I place an order ABOVE the MINIMUM delivery fee ! And I’m only 3 miles away yet they cancelled the order! When I rang the guy on the phone says my boss said it’s too far for a small order and cancelled it !!!! Very poor service ! If it’s too much to ask then I suggest you change your minimum order fee!!!!! Pathetic

Had a takeaway from here a few times allway s loved the food had one tonight and was not disappointed the food was amazing also recommend you sister and daughter who also ordered tonight I honestly think it's the best Indian ever

Ordered via just eat. Ordered food at 21:00. ETA was 22:15. I got a message at 22:30 saying that Ishmails had cancelled the order. Hungry and fuming! Won't order from them again.

Our first order from here since it opened, the old Indian 'Curry House' was our favourite to get our eastern delights. We had two different dishes and starters. We were underwhelmed with the overall quality and taste. We will try it again and give them the benefit of a second opinion but frankly I would not recommend. The old 'Curry House' got a 5 start review from us so I hope to give a better review next time for Ishmael's.

Not bad for bloody curry innnitt

Awful, paid 20£ for a 14£ meal because instead of change the delivery man drove off with my 20, to add to that, the curry was average at best.

First timer tonight, not disappointed. Ordered via just eat, food was delivered exactly on time. Chicken chat was ok, the chicken syhlet was devine, great flavour. Slightly uneven sauce to rice ratio, but no big deal. Will use again.

I always order from here and have never had a bad meal. Great quality tasting food and good service
