In a lovely spot and perfect for brunch or lunch. Go often on a Sunday morning and it's a great little social enterprise giving opportunities to people who may not get them otherwise which is just lovely. Always good service and very polite.

We stumbled across this cafe next to Inverness cathedral which is situated by the river. There was plenty of space, and a lovely selection of cakes. We would highly recommend visiting.

Very expensive with little kindness- should have realised when we walked in and it was empty. Poor value and service, will not be going back again would expect more from a café attached to a cathedral

We stopped here after walking in the cathedral. There are bathrooms here but you need to be a customer. We bought scones and coffee. It was a nice treat before we started our walk around the city.

We were pleased to find this interesting place with lots of vegetarian and vegan food. Fully recommend it, only drawback was it was such a long wait for the food. Although that said I think it is run by volunteers and trainees. We were on a coach tour so a bit tight for time.

Stumbled across this little place - what a find! Helpful staff, good menu, decent prices, tasty and freshly prepared food. The food is locally sourced and you can read about each supplier. Interesting info on the menu about the history of the building. Nice pieces of artwork (from local artists) also for sale. Well done all!

Waited 15 minutes for a table. Girl behind counter running round doing everything. Food for the price fair. Wouldn't go back.

My wife and I called in here this morning for tea, coffee and a large Chelsea bun. The cafe is situated behind the Cathedral, and was a boys school at one time. Staff were very pleasant, and there was a wide range to choose from, inc both vegan and gluten free. Soup was also the menu. There is also the opportunity to pay for a drink for someone less well off which was nice. Would definately return.

Cafe set up in the old school house just behind the Cathedral with home cooked cakes, sandwiches and soup etc. Offers an option to pay for an extra coffee when you order which is then given to someone who can't afford it. A lovely idea. We came back here twice and had lunch both days.

As someone who has worked in the food and catering industry for years, I find it astonishing that there are recent incredibly negative reviews regarding this restaurant. Our experience was nothing short of 5 stars. The food was exceptional, the quality of the produce, the execution and the presentation. It was a lovely mix of top quality seafood, traditional Scottish fare, with some Asian touches thrown in and it worked a treat. Service was bang on. Not over the top, just well timed, very professional and friendly. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. Housed in a lovely old stone building - a relaxing, calm atmosphere that hums along nicely, lovely location and outlook. My husband and I (both fish and meat eaters) chose different options for each course and really couldn’t fault a thing. If you are hesitating because of the negative comments, don’t - enjoy the experience. It’s not cheap - this isn’t somewhere you would dine everyday, so we opted for the lunch fixed price menu. Would return in a heartbeat. We have been travelling through Scotland for 3 weeks, and have had some absolutely lovely meals - but this one is the best.

Visited 3 times in 5 days and probably spent more on coffee than we did on merchandise (and Tiso is an excellent shop by the way). Excellent coffee, lovely cake selection and a truly fantastic full English/Scottish breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. View to the Cairngorms outstanding and our doggy companions most welcome.

Popped in for the first time recently mid morning, missed breakfast and was very hungry. I ordered a tuna salad sandwich for myself, and 2 black pudding filled rolls for family. While waiting for them to be made to order, I couldn’t help but notice a delicious looking homemade cheesecake, so had to get a couple of wedges of that too for sharing, it was absolutely lovely, a total treat. Black pudding rolls and my tuna sandwich were much enjoyed, the bread was really good quality, not the cheap stuff, and the fillings also good quality and fresh. I shall be back, next time I will be trying the grilled hallumi sandwich, and most likely there homemade cake. Good quality food at a very reasonable price
