Excellent food and friendly staff, wish we could visit more often, sun was a bit of a problem but only a little

We are from the US and this was the best meal we had in the country for a whole week, as well as the best service by far!

Had a lovely meal and a few drinks here last night,also could park campervan in the carpark for the night, mackerel pate was scrumptious and the Inverness burger 🍔 so filling and tasty as was my partner's haddock, chips and peas done in garlic butter, summer menu probably even better with sea food

We stumbled across this lovely Inn on our travels. So glad we stopped here, the ladies in the bar are so friendly and welcoming and had a great recommendation for a good pint and have vodka cocktails on tap. This is a must visit. Thank you ladies you made our stop worth while.

Fantastic wee place for an evening meal. Quality of food is amazing, at a great price and the waitresses really make an effort to meet every need.

Everything a pub and restaurant should be! A welcoming and friendly atmosphere, fantastic food and drinks, great service and to top it off a fire to keep you warm. Simply a must visit when in the area! Dogs welcome also

We had a great lunch here, the food was superb - fish cakes for me and my partner had a spicy beanburger and we shared a portion of loaded fries- bacon topped, melted cheese and maple syrup- gorgeous! The portion size on the fries is very generous, definitely one to share. Service was quick and friendly even though they had just seated a large party of 14 just as we went in. They are happy either dogs in the bar area there were 4 including ours when we were there. Cost 46 for three plates and a couple of drinks. Not cheap but very good quality, so worth it in my opinion.

First visit to this place and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. I had a cracking pint of belhaven black at the bar first then headed through to the restaurant. Wife got the sizzling fajitas and I got half lobster, both meals were great and the surroundings were cozy with excellent friendly staff, well done! Thanks for a great night.

Heard good reviews before I went but they were all true! Can’t wait to go back.

Lovely local pub with fantastic staff. They were all very friendly and chatty. They have a great selection of beers and wines. The foot was excellent and very large portions. There was a great atmosphere in the bar. We would definitely recommend.

Decided to pop in for lunch today, had the posh fish and chips. Absolutely gorgeous..have told all our friends. Lovely food,company, hostess and staff. We will be back very soon

Visited relatives that live in the village - Don (Hegie) and Ann. After a long drive up from Liverpool we had some amazing fish and chips as a takeaway. Later on in the holiday we dined in, absolutely amazing food (vary varied as well) and the staff were delightful. We wish the inver inn all the best and will be back next year. Visited again (2022) same rating - Best food and service of the holiday. I see an award coming for the place!

Friendly service and good range on the menu. Had the loaded fries which were amazing, all tasted fresh. We were a party of 4 and everyone really enjoyed their meal, a lovely little restaurant that I would recommend if you are in the area.

A solid 3 star family pub with really tasty food. In a sweet little fishing village on the shore of the Dornoch Firth. Friendly, efficient staff. A rather bland building but who cares when the food is great.

Stopped for lunch today and had the "Fish tea". I had the Scampi version, and my wife had the Fish version. The seafood was so fresh. It was absolutely brilliant, and such good value for money. Staff were great and good atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Lovely wee inn between Portmahomack and Tain. Had a lovely lunch, food was so tasty. Varied menu plus a specials board. We will definitely be back!

Great meals and great service from the staff and very comfortable with everything but maybe could put a a steak on the menu as that was the only thing that was missing off it.

We had a really enjoyable family lunch, the seafood was very fresh, all of our meals were well seasoned. We ordered the aubergine soup of the day, scampi and chips, haddock and chips, the inver burger, and the sea bass special. The chips were crispy and clearly home made which always improves a meal in my mind. The presentation was lovely too. I think if anything I would've kept the scampi separate from the chips (but that's just my view) the plate still looked good and I loved how the tartar sauce was in an oyster shell. The atmosphere in the lounge was great, very homely and comfortable. Overall highly recommend, we will definitely be back as the food was so tasty and very reasonably priced!

Popped in to the Inver Inn for the first time last week as a pit stop after a long day out. We were pleasantly surprised to find vegan pizza on the menu. So of course we ordered two and they were very cheesy and delicious. Nice chill atmosphere, quick service, reasonable prices. Will definitely be back for another meal soon!

We had a warm welcome and enjoyed fantastic food….. we were there for lunch and chose the Inver burger from the menu and fish chips and curry sauce from the specials board, which were excellent and a great twist on an old favourite…… 5 stars for meal, service and going that extra mile to make our little Jack Russell feel at home too.

Visited for lunch and dinner. Welcoming staff excellent service and a varied menu that will not disappoint the most discerning customer. Very tasty food at a good price. Doggies are also catered for with there own meals :) We will certainly return when we are in the local area. Highly recommended.

OMG Even if u aren't staying near inver , stop what you are doing and take time to go and have a meal there I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Food was amazing staff were very helpful Chef even came out to speak to guests. Give to a try .

As a family of 7 adults a two year old an 8 weeks old and a working cocker spaniel our experience here was exemplary, the staff couldn’t do enough for us, the food was absolutely excellent and even Rory(dog) had a dog meal something we have never experienced. We would highly recommend The Inver Inn.

We loved it, the quintessential Highland pub experience with friendly and cheerful hosts and lovely ambience and music. The food was superbly cooked with wonderful local ingredients and huge portions that we couldn't finish. Will definitely be back whenever we're in the area.

Turned up with no booking and staff were very accommodating and very pet friendly..even doggie dinners on offer..food was 5 star and friendly atmosphere..only down side is we didnt find this little gem earlier on in our holiday 🍷🍻🥃

Very welcoming and friendly, langoustines were excellent, although menu was a little limited. Bitter & Twisted on draft really hit the spot (twice!), do save room for dessert, the chef is clearly excellent.

What a great little place. Lobster was amazing and the fries were delicious. Best of all though were the staff. All of them were super friendly and accommodating. Would definitely come again if I'm up this part of the country.

This pub was an absolute delight, slightly off the beaten track, it is a stone's throw from a beautiful beach (take your wellies and you can walk forever). The staff were a delight, the selection of drinks was very impressive; I genuinely didn't expect to find Erdinger blue in such a remote place!! The food was amazing, I could talk for days about it. I had the loaded fries with cheese and maple bacon, it was GLORIOUS!! The fries basically swam in a cheddar fondue that wasn't oily or sickly, it was perfect. I had the lobster as a main and it didn't miss a beat, nor did the banoffee pie for dessert. Easily the best pub I've attended so far on my jaunt through the Highlands, would recommend and I wish I lived closer so I could go again next week!

Beer is great and the staff were brilliant.

Such lovely staff, excellent service. The food was delicious and they did so well for the mixed bag of diners that we were, with two veggies, a pescetarian and a carnivore! We will definitely be back again and if you've not been, I highly recommend you get down there.

We were visiting friends in Inver and they strongly recommended this pub for our Saturday evening night out. We were not disappointed. The quality of food and service was excellent. I could not find fault with anything. A special thanks to the chef and the two lovely ladies who looked after us so well, front of house. I wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend the Inver Inn for a perfect dining experience.

Fantastic night out with family having a meal here. We phoned and booked a table for the same day without issue. The service was very efficient and rhe meals were very tasty. The staff were friendly. Highly recommend going.
