Went there Saturday night because the other pubs were full, glad I did! Staff were very friendly, beer is a pretty good price for Edinburgh. Had fun playing pool. Felt like a real pub with regulars and a good atmosphere. Would recommend!

A traditional old style boozer next to the Meadows. Nothing too flashy, good reasonable priced drinks, good service from the staff and a good atmosphere. Good place for a pit stop to refresh.

A very small bar that been "done up" recently The member of staff on duty was very friendly and helpful. Not a lot seats around if it busy but a great atmosphere.

The staff is really friendly and the drink has a fair price. The second time I went they already know what I was going to order. It can be a little crowdy sometimes, and it may be not fancy but it has charm.

It's still the same as it was forty years ago!! I know that I was only sixteen,but what a pint, and I reckon that the only other pub,that could give the I B a run for your money was the diggers (Athletic Arms) and at that point that was the best booze in the town
