Lovely eggs benedict and cup of tea at a good price. Plenty of snacks, light bites and cakes to choose from. But the best thing of all no dogs are allowed in. This unhygienic practice to allow dogs in eating establishments in recent years has ruined going out for people scared of dogs, allergic to dogs and clean people who want to eat without dogs nearby.

we have visited this cafe regularly however the consistent rudeness of the younger female member of staff has helped us reach our decision not to return, we forgive so much and hope for change though its obvious this isnt going to happen, the cafe is souless, no warm welcome, no pleasentries, we have found a cafe nearby where you are made to feel more than welcome, when you are spending hard earned cash, you expect quality of service

Wonderful breakfast. One of the best fry ups I have ever had. Ingredients of a very high quality. Only downside is you only get 1 sausage and no black pudding. You can order both as extras but this makes it a little too pricey for some people's budget. However I totally recommend it. Lovely staff too. Drink orders take a long time to arrive though, even when quiet which is annoying. If you love a full English breakfast this place is a must try.

Over priced for what you receive. Got 2 cheese burgers and hot chocolate, which cost just short of £20, and it was disgusting. Seemed like the burger was bought from Iceland, grand total of six chips and the salad consisted of half a tomatoes and some lettuce. Service wasn’t too fantastic either. Only good thing about it was the elderly lady that worked there, she was very nice and polite would not recommend!!

If you are a vegan you will love this place because there is a section in the menu that is all vegan, such great choice and the vegan burger with home made chips was great. The drinks are lovely, our children had raspberry milkshakes which were delicious and cheese scones, warmed and lovely and thick. I had earl grey, a pot with enough for three cups and a lovely scone with jam. Will deffo be back!

We came here to meet with friends on a bright Sunday morning. Plenty of tables available, but as we were not eating, we opted for the comfy chairs and sofa. After ordering drinks, we sat and waited for our drinks. These came quickly and were hot and freshly brewed. My husband and our friends also opted for fruit loaf to accompany their drinks, while I chose to just have a larger drink. We enjoyed the drinks so much, we even had a second. Good service with friendly staff. Worth a visit if you haven't been already. Do be aware that as all food and drinks are freshly made to order, at busy times it can take time to get your order. But this is clearly explained on the menu.

Ordered breakfast and toasted crumpets and tea for two , the breakfast came after over 15 mins and was not to bad apart from the sausage, the crumpets turned up 10 mins later but came as eggs Florentine so that was wrong so that was taken away with still no sign of any tea . The server then went away to do the crumpets not that she knew what had been ordered as she insisted it was toasted teacakes so another 10 minutes passed. The crumpets arrived but still no tea at which point the server argued that the tea wasn't ordered when the original order was placed with the guy on the counter so after a further 5 minutes the tea came. The food was not too bad apart from the sausage but the service was appalling and the have to argue with the server to get the correct order and waiting all that time means that this is one place we will not be going back to.

We have eaten here a few times now when we come to Driffield on a Monday. The menu has the usual choices but extra tasty options for example scrambled eggs with salmon on a muffin or bread. Porridge is also there and my mum loved it. There is a superb lunch menu offering something different to the usual cafe menus around. Today we were disappointed as wanted the poached eggs which last week were cooked perfect today were hard and over cooked. The main reason I didn't give them a five. We didn't complain though it must have been an oversight for once. They did seem a little stressed and busy.

This is the second time we had coffee here and we absolutely loved it. The table and chairs look a bit stark but are very comfy. The background music is 30's style big band/jazz/swing. The coffee is excellent and we would return again for this. The food I selected, however, is a different matter. The cherry scone had been reheated by microwave and was soggy. Unfortunately, I was unable to eat it all. They, very kindly, gave me a fresh scone to take home with me, however, that is not the point. Scones should only be reheated in an oven or, if in a microwave, for one or two seconds. If you want a scone, ask for it to be cold; although why you, the customer, should have to ask for something not to be cooked, or it will be ruined, is a question mark of catering knowledge.

A great little cafe which we discovered last year. Lovely tea and coffee, and good selection of cold drinks for my daughter. My husband and I always go for the homemade scones, which are warm and served with plenty of butter in a little dish, not those horrid tiny packets you get in other cafes. My daughter has tried some of the cakes, sandwiches and snacks, which you get plenty on the plate. The prices are on par with national coffee shop chains, but you get more for your money here. If I was to pick a fault, it would be the decor, which I think is a little 1980's, but I'm happy to look beyond that.

A very pleasant cafe that serves a 'hearty breakfast' that is excellent. Due to a gluten and dairy free dietary requirement I often fall back on having a breakfast. The staff here understand my needs and as each breakfast is cooked individually they suggest changes to the items so that what ends up on my plate I can eat, enjoy and not be concerned about unpleasant side affects. The food is great, well cooked and presented. The staff deserve brownie points for their understanding of food intolerances - for example they have gluten free bread. Thank you, believe you me too many catering trade staff and organisations just don't get it and eating out can be a difficult experience with little or no choice on offer. So well done, Inspiration!

We called in to 'Inspirations' last Sunday for the first time and couldn't have chosen anywhere better on a cold winters day. The staff were so friendly and extremely concientious to all our requests. My sister and I ordered the 'hearty' breakfast and my brother in law wanted the poached eggs on toast, we asked if we could have our drinks when the meal arrived as so often they are flat cold by the time the meal comes. Our toast came on separate side plates and if you just wanted toast, you wouldn't be disappointed. It was golden brown, hot and came with a small dish of butter. Our breakfast was wonderful, piping hot and freshly cooked, a bit too much for my sister and I to finish though but we did our best . My Brother in law said his 3 poached eggs on toast were done to perfection and he was extremely satisfied. A cafe we will certainly be frequenting again and highly recommended. I visit this little jewel of Driffield often, the food is freshly prepared, and is of an excellent quality and very very tasty. The staff are gracious and friendly. Very efficient in every way.My only gripe is that recently I have seen dogs sitting in the cafe with their owners, sometimes on their owners knees with paws on the table.I have dogs myself, and love them dearly, but not everyone is of the same opinion. So for this to be allowed in a public eating place, in my opinion is unfair to non dog lovers, let alone unhygienic.I am sorry to be negative, but it left me feeling a little annoyed. However it will not put me off eating there again, as I am an animal lover

Went with a friend for lunch here. Mine was inedible, it was shocking. I ordered a burger, initially I was laughing as the bun was standard size of cheap white bread and the burger was tiny stuck in the middle. I lifted it to my mouth to take a bite and paused, my thumbs were penetrating the bread underneath. The reason was the sheer amount of oozing grease from the burger had disintegrated the fragile bread bun. I was nearly sick. I squeezed it and grease just ran out of it.Disgusting. Though I was really hungry by then I was so angry that anyone would serve such total muck in a public cafe I returned it to the counter untouched. They offered to make me another one, er, no thanks, never, and I got a refund. My friends meal was poor. We both agree it is the worst place we have ever had the misfortune to try and eat in. By a long way.

Inspirations is my favourite place to go get a hot chocolate on a cold day. A prime location for me and my friends after a day sledging in the snow. Another cold day, like everyday in England, I visited the cafe and ordered potato wedges and a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is always up to standard and the best bit about them is they have different designs on the top of the chocolate created in sprinkle hot chocolate depending on the time of year. I recall last valentines day I received Cupid with a bow and arrow on the top.Despite burning the top of my mouth on the wedges they were very nice and I would regularly go back again for more.

Visit here quite often, nearly always for the breakfast. Love it. Fresh local ingredients that's always taste great and certainly fill you up. Their maybe cheaper places to eat in Driffield but the quantity and quality doesn't compare.

Called in for lunch on my lunch hour with my other half and we were greeted warmly, served a "proper" coffee and the most delicious, well presented lunch. Excellent!!

We love coming to this place. The food is always good quality and the cakes are to die for! The staff always smile too which makes a difference nowadays!

Worst service ever, didn’t even get to taste the food. Take my advice and avoid this place altogether as their attitude is shocking.

Wanted a nice coffee somewhere and found this place on the map, what a great little find!! Set by the lake with indoor and outdoor seating, great menu, quality food and generous with the portions. We had coffees and full English brekkie and veggie brekkie. Top recommendation, great place and friendly staff.

Cold coffee, which was a real shame as the majority of breakfast was really quite nice. We will be here for breakfast again when we next stay. Staff were friendly.
