Portions are sometimes huge, see the seafood risotto for example with a lot of mussels too However flavour was generally lacking, if harmonious cos of how mild it was. Texture of risotto and pasta are almost a pass. Not the most authentic but overall it's passable for UK standards

Nice place for lunch. Most enjoyable with attentive service and nothing was to much trouble

Lobster with garlic butter sauce, salad and chips all great. Difficult to get a booking so table was 4.30 and noisy children. One waitress great other very business like and efficient but not friendly.

What beautiful food. 4 different meals all brilliant and tasted amazing. Bread and dip staters were hot and very tasty.

Starter was fabulous mussels chilli garlic and white wine. But the main was disappointing fettuccine royale (I think that's what it was called) a little bland if it wasn't for the parmesan I would say tasteless no chilli or flaked cheese as described and the fillet strips were definitely not fillet and quite tough . Really wish I had choosing something else (indian cuisine perhaps)

We got a good welcome and could choose a table. The drinks order was taken, and then we had the menu to look at. So much choice, it's amazing how many dishes there can be. Anyway we got the order placed and were delighted with our meals. It's definitely worth a visit and is on our list of places to return to.

Had a fantastic lunch here service was excellent food was amazing best Pizzas we have ever had will definatley be back great value for money highly recommend here for a bite to eat 10 out of 10.

So good we visited twice during our stay. Last year we holidayed in Tuscany and this is as good as any place we ate there. Fair prices and great seafood.

A nice meal out while away ? Unfortunately not. I asked for a mushroom risotto and Unfortunately was served a sea food one by mistake? I can not eat sea food so pointed out the mistake. I was served the mushroom one 5 mins later..obviously sat waiting so not freshly made. It's was almost un edible but I are half of it. Staff were pleasant enough but not many smiles around or atmosphere.

Food was quality. Service was pleasant and efficient. We will be back!

If you want a quiet meal then you won't get one but you will get some fantastic food

Not the best Italian food I've ever had ,bland and not taste ,had chicken timo which was chicken cooked in thyme with pancetta and tyhme jus ,basically it was like chicken in gravy awful,won't be going here again

22/8/24 had a meal after walking past and smelling the wonderful aroma’s . We decided to book a table and wasn’t disappointed. Came to this little place with friends to celebrate a special day. Has to be one of the worst places I have been while here in sea houses. Service was slow. Had to ask many times for a drink And then the food. It was like ordering at a fast food restaurant. As what is on the menu was just part of the main meal As u needed to add everything else to the meal. When mine turned up with just a bit of chicken and a couple of tomatoes and sauce that was my meal If I have been told that was if. I might have ordered sides to try and fill me up. Left very very hungry. And out of pocket. Menu needs to explain when the dishes come with. The staff need to listen and not be a bit rude. I will always leave a tip at the end. But was definitely not worth it at this restaurant Out of 5 it would be a minus one Think that's being kind

Food ok nothing special, service not great. Every thing is extra, fillet steak nice but at least I expected some veg,salad or chips served with it not just a steak on a plate not explained when ordering .very disappointed

Our food was absolutely delicious (Cheese garlic pizza, Lasagne, Pizza Fiorentina, Pizza Pepperoni and Tiramisu). The waiter who seated us and brought some of our meals was lovely, really friendly, but the waitress made us feel uncomfortable by pacing up and down near to our table whilst waiting for us to decide, and wasn't overly friendly either. Make sure you grab the wooden/leather type chairs as the metal ones are really uncomfortable unless you're a child or very slim build!

Good value pizza and friendly service. Ideal holiday lunch.

Top notch - the dishes we chose had 100% the right balance of ingredients. The portions were plentiful and the service was great - informalbut attentive. Our only regret was that we didn't discover this gem until our last night in Seahouses! Highly recommend- we'll be back!

The food was incredible some of the best pizza I've had. The staff were very kind and answered our tables questions The atmosphere was very good and friendly, it was like we were part of their family run business.

I genuinely believe the pizza was the best pizza I have had on my life. Lovely staff and atmosphere. It was busy but the food came out very fast and they were happy to cater for different dietary requirements.

We called here after a boat trip and stumbled upon what we thought was an amazing restaurant. The food was excellent, the service was friendly, and the restaurant was lively - but not too noisy. The restaurant was child friendly. We would definitely visit again.

Had abandoned all hope before the food arrived! Please save your money and don't go here! You're just a bum on a seat paying wages for grouchy staff! Here's the outline of our experience...without malice. Midweek. One half of the restaurant full and one half empty. Greeted by a sullen monosyllabic waitress who really did not care about us or the food either! First mistake...we were seated on a table literally wedged in between other diners, whilst they were eating. There was quite literally 18 inches each side of us. It was uncomfortably close, conversations could not be private at all. Having accepted this bizarre and non-customer focused seating, despite a half empty room, we ordered wine, and perused the menu. On the specials was a dish I was unfamiliar with so when the 'waitress' arrived with drinks I asked her what it was to be told quite rudely "i don't know and I only serve drinks".By this point I was seriously regretting our patronage! We ordered but not from the mysterious specials menu. Mine was the Mushroom Risotto and my partner had Margharita Pizza. The pizza was delivered uncut, doughy and limp. Only a butter knife available to cut the pizza, we had to hold the glasses, condiments etc to prevent them tumbling! The risotto looked nice and was piping hot but had no other flavour than raw garlic. Lumps of garlic lurked with lethal intent! Honestly, overpowering, and totally lacking delicacy or finesse! I ate two mouthfuls before deciding it was reasonable to have a quiet word with the manager. I am a calm, quiet person and didn't want any drama( especially with only 18inches either side with other diners).I approached the manager, explained all of the above to be told I was wrong. My views were irrelevant as the restaurant is 'well regarded' and there would be no concession made on the bill. The communication was without apology, rude and arrogant. I was presented with the full bill. I felt humiliated. I left. Save yourselves the time, money and disrespect. Eat somewhere where you are welcomed and valued as a customer!

Great service, friendly staff. Had a variety of dishes between us, pasta, pizza, chicken, seafood and everyone commenting how delicious their dish was. Good portion size and reasonable priced. Will definitely be visiting again.

Called at lunch time and ordered 2 Calzones.When they came the outsides were burnt and the filling was nearly cold plus the ham was fatty cubes of processed ham.I asked mine to be put in the microwave which they did but it was a very disapointing visit and I won't recommend them.I thought as a apology we might of been offered a free drink in compensation. Not good customer service

The carbonara was fine. Not the best, not the worst. The dessert cake was frozen, and when we queried, we were told that they store it frozen so obviously it should be like that! They did offer an alternative however, without issue. Unsurprisingly but still disappointingly, the only sugar-free drink option was diet coke.

Lovely little Italian serving gr8 food

The worst Calzone I have ever had it was small, dry, with prossessed ham and over double the price of any I have ever had. I mean £14.50 it was too expensive and awful. The total bill for 6 of us was over £140.00 and the food was below average would never go there again absolute rubbish.

Firstly let me say please book before you go. We went on a Wednesday evening and it was packed. The service was great and the food was beautiful. We had bread and dips, scallops, pasta with Chicken, lobster ravioli and tiramisu. All were lovely.

Ordered from the insieme in seahouses tonight and I was highly disappointed, the staff gave dirty looks and had poor manners. I received my food and the lasagna was barley there, it was cold and so was the pizza I ordered. I think the food was horrible compared to the value and would not recommend at all.

Fantastic restaurant in Seahouses. Was very busy during half term so glad I booked a table. Excellent garlic pizza bread and the seafood risotto was delicious.

Whilst the food is perfectly acceptable it’s a shame that the attitude shown towards us was unacceptable when we simply and politely asked if we could move to a table with less glaring lighting.

Food was very disappointing. Bland and tasteless. We had potato skins (deep fried peelings), mushroom bruschetta which was mushrooms with a quarter slice of toasted white bread. We had pasta tagliatelle with fillet steak strips, the sauce was bland and watery and the meat was definitely not fillet steak!! What a let down!

fettuccine imperiale it said on the menu tender slices of fillet steak. The first thing my fork picked out was a sizable chewy chunk of inedible meat. The pasta wasn't exactly there either a bit, let's say rubbery. The fillet steak was definitely not sliced it was more rustic chunks. I've had fettuccine imperiale in many Italian restaurants, so I'm sorry to say 2 stars is all I can manage.

Following a few days staying in Seahouses, it was Insieme's turn to feed us. If this had been day one, we would have eaten here every night. Despite very positive efforts by other establishments, Insieme takes our best eatery of the stay award. A warm welcome is always welcome, as is a busy restaurant. We were soon seated, and our drinks order was taken. We were left ample time to peruse the very tempting menu. Once our order was taken, in what seemed a reasonable time for freshly cooked food. Our order was delivered. It looked so very appetising. It tasted as good as it looked. I chose Pollo cacciatore, and my wife chose Linguine Mare. Service was efficient and attentive. The cost of the meals were on a par with what we are used to paying for Italian cuisine. All in all a very special meal for our last night in Seahouses. Thank you Insieme.

This is a little gem hidden away in Seahouses. We were greeted on arrival and shown a table by a lovely waitress. Drink orders were taken quickly and we took out time perusing an extensive menu. I chose Linguine Mare and hubby had Pollo Cacciatore. The food arrived and was obviously freshly cooked. Both meals were delicious. The waitress kept popping back to make sure everything was OK. We are small eaters so didn't have a starter or a sweet. This was the best meal during our stay in Seahouses, what a lovely way to end our break. Thank you Insieme. Would highly recommend this lovely restaurant. B

We have been coming here for meals at the new year for at least seven years and it has always been good but last night it was excellent. The Chef did an amazing job and the service was spot on. Perfect.

First experience at this restaurant, and oh my, how delicious the food was. All freshly prepared and fresh ingredients presented very well. A feast for the eyes as well as the pallet. I would have no hesitation recommending this restaurant. The staff were lovely and everything arrived hot. If you're staying in Seahouses, don't miss this little gem, you will not be disappointed and will be surprised at how reasonable the prices are too. We will definitely be back.
