A job well done. Caitlin & Grace smashed it, 12/10, food was amazing, atmosphere was craaaaaazy. And she was AMAZING!

The member of staff on duty was very good and seemed busy so perhaps it’s down to the staffing level. However, the level of dust and how unclean the toilets were didn’t happen overnight but possibly over weeks.

Great spot. We had steak frites which were amazing, fantastic service and good vibes. Would highly recommend. We even got a small beer and chefs special entree included. Ours was brisket croquette - amazing. 10/10.

On visiting friends in Glasgow we tried the beer tasting and it was a good event with some good beers and well worth a visit and would do again

Caitlin and Tom were our servers and were in great spirits, good chat and banter but also positive, enthusiastic and doing a very good job with a smile on their face. All five of us had steak 🥩 and chips 🍟 and were amazed when we were able to have free seconds. An awesome offer and a top evening. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommended.

We had a few beers before we went for dinner, their selection is limited but you can get a taster before you order. Some of the beers were quite nice!

A pub located on Ashton Lane, which is lined with restaurants and pubs. You can enjoy various types of craft beer. Perhaps because it is close to the University of Glasgow, the clientele was mainly young, like students.

Great afternoon. Thomas (Duty Manager?) was very helpful in accommodating us - we booked a table later in the day, but turned up early. I also forgot to mention that I had an Itison Voucher when I arrived, but this was dealt with. We had I&G 0% lager, 2 burgers and steak frites - with an Overtone "Weegie" beer - great selection of beers.

Had a wonderful afternoon at the taproom. The choice of beers was excellent, the beers themselves were excellent, the food was amazing and the staff were wonderful! I wish I could give them an extra star! Rest assured I’ll pop in the next time I’m in Glasgow!

slowest burger ever, i’ve been waiting for over an hour for a simple burger, when i asked they didn’t even know what to tell me. that’s so disappointing

Came here for the beer tasting experience. Fantastic beers but even more fantastic service from Sherry (I apologise if I got the wrong name!). She was super knowledgeable about the beers and gave great insight into the brewing process and the flavour profiles of each beer. I highly recommend. Although we didn't try the food it looked fabulous! Will be back!

So Ashton Road is an amazing gem of Glasgow. This establishment is great for a drinks, but we were seduced into eating the steak and frities. Purchased a decent Malbec for £29 . There was a small starter, which consisted of two bread slices, and a sort of tikka sauce, ok ish. The steak and chips served on an overloaded small plate , served with a generous, but soon to be discovered tasteless peppercorn sauce. The side order of slaw was excellent, but the steak was tough and so chewy, I had to remove it from my mouth and place on the side of my plate. A server asked how was our meal. I mentioned the steak was tough, the response, I will give you a steak knife so it's easier to cut. This meal cost more than the steak meal, with a starter, at the Ivy. The manager asked me how the meal was. After my reply of appalling a decent conversation followed. We had the food bill deducted, but we were reasonably charged for the wine. When my other half asked if they could provide a top for the £29 bottle of wine, she was told, "Drink it or leave it. " In summary, in my opinion, great place to drink but be wary to eat here.

Came here on a wet cold drizzly day to get out of the rain. Made to feel welcome by the solitary bar staff, good friendly service, picked a couple of beers and ordered some light bites - chips and cauliflower "wings". It was quiet in there but it was after lunch and not quite evening. Have been other times and it has been a lot more busy and lively atmosphere. Thank you.

I enjoyed it here. The beer was great, and it was good to drink their beer from the tank and casks, plus also try a guest tap. The food was mixed - scotch egg, camembert, mac were quite good, while the wings were sad and the fries were okay.

This taproom is amazing! They had a few IPAs on tap, wine, spirits, and cocktail options (the Paloma cocktail and the Gunpowder IPA were my faves). They also have a great, small menu with vegetarian and vegan options for those inclined. We had the deep fried pickles, the mushroom frites with a red wine reduction sauce and bottomless garlic chips, and a burger. The servers were so friendly and lovely. The only reason I gave the atmosphere a 4 instead of a 5 is because it was trivia night (which was so fun!!) but the music trivia section was so loud it was impossible to hear anyone around you and kind of hurt the eardrums. If they would sort that out, this place is a full 5/5. Regardless of the volume, I'd love to go back again 🍻

I came here after having a 5-star experience at their sibling pub near central station. However, I was totally underwhelmed at this establishment.

Visited for steak frites night! 1 starter, 1 drink, 1 free steak refill, unlimited chips & unlimited peppercorn sauce for £19.95! Bargain! Plus came along with our pooch, very dog friendly. Service great! Really attentive. Would recommend.

Cracking wee pub/ restaurants...service first class..gave me small taster of there signature beer..it's was lovely but strong..well worth a visit...also dog friendly 👍

Great beer selection in a typical brewery taproom environment. The Gunnpowder IPA stands up well to any of the best California (I’m fro San Diego) IPA’s. But the stars of the show for me were the Korean BBQ inspired wings and the onion rings. These were the best onion rings I’ve had ever anywhere!!! I was in on a Monday afternoon and the staff was lovely. Definitely stop in

A decent selection of tap beers and extensive beer fridge options. Staff are friendly and there’s a chilled vibe. The music is good, but a bit on the low side when we visited.

Too expensive for the mediocre-food they serve. Good selection of beer and quite decent service. Would recommend only going here for drinks and not so much for the food.

Was visiting from Edinburgh and took a wonder down Ashton Lane where we found this pub!! Me and my friends had the nicest afternoon in here, staff were amazing especially the manager Alex! Thank you for the good chat and beer Will definitely be back on our next visit to Glasgow

Booked for the steak frites , the small drink was really good , the chefs choice of taster sadly never arrived until after receiving the steak but wasn’t an issue , did have to ask the for the sauce but again was given , our server was great and gave some banter about how we ordered a wine and cocktail in a innis and Gunn place but was all fun banter! The steak was AMAZING , I’d gladly have had more minus the chips and sauce anyday! Would definitely have it all again!!

Honestly, the food here is bangin. The vibe was just a typical bar/restaurant, a little dark on the inside (this was lunch time btw), I went in thinking I'd order the steak frites, but then this steak sandwich caught my eye on the lunch special menu, oh man, the steak was tender and juicy, the fries were amazing and the peppercorn sauce was outstanding, soft bread and fried onions on the side so you could control your onion intake, which of course is important these days. But that sauce, I dipped the sandwich, dipped the fries, dipped the fork, would've dipped by tongue in there but likely would've gotten strange looks so decided against it. Such a pleasant meal, so satisfying, thinking about it now, hours later, I wish I was back in that moment in time, a fleeting delight of the tastebuds. Guess I'll have to go again.

Delicious steak with garlic butter fries and you get a second portion for free if you manage the first! Out waiting staff member Caitlin was fantastic, so welcoming, efficient and friendly! Highly recommended.

Came in after work for a few beers. The bartender Russel was really friendly. As a bartender myself I was really impressed with his knowledge of beers and his recommendations. Double dip steak sandwich was fantastic, garlic butter and homemade steak sauce. £10 with half a pint included. Good selection of Innis & Gunn beers plus guest lines. Staff friendly and helpful. Only reason for lost mark on atmosphere was that it was quite quiet on a rainy Wednesday afternoon.

Visited on Saturday for dinner and drinks the food was great the selection of beer fantastic and got to try them before buying. The staff were so knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations for food and drinks. We will be back 👍

Spent the afternoon at the Taproom Brewery School in Ashton Lane. Absolutely brilliant, great fun and met some lovely people. Included were tasters of all the signature beers, a delicious lunch and the experience of making your very own 5L keg of beer that's ready for you to collect 2-3 weeks later. Craig who was our tutor for the day was brilliant, extremely knowledgeable and engaging. Highly recommended day for beer lovers!

Walked into the bar (in West End) VERY excited, had a coffee in my hand (due to traveling and being jet lagged) but was ready to buy beers with my fiance! As soon as we walked in we said hello with smiles on but didn’t even get a hello in return but had a rude greeting from a man who looked like guy fieri that said “you can’t bring that in here”. If it was said in a nice manner we would have been pleased to step outside, finish the coffee and go back in to the otherwise empty bar. However, we were only met with cold tones and rude glances. Severely disappointed and we did not return back inside. We were more than happy at the City Centre location with a lovely staff.

I want to really like this place but can never get fully onboard. Obviously wide ranging selection of draft from Innis and Gunn and guest breweries. Food has always been slightly underwhelming for me - it’s ok but nothing stands out. Pricey for what you get, even in this part of town. It’s also often very dark inside so not ideal if you go for 2pm pint and hope to read your book/magazine. But if go at 7pm it’s too loud to chat. Maybe I’m getting old. Staff v knowledge as you’d expect.

First of all - I have to apologise for a terrible delay 🙈 Myself and my wife booked top floor coctail bar for our wedding party in June 2023. We've been dealing mainly with the manager Alex, who couldn't be more friendly and accomodating. Organising the event was super easy from choosing the menu to arranging people from KC Events to decorate the room. We even dropped the wedding cake in the morning and they kept it in the fridge, arranged a presentation of it, and later on served it to our guests. We had frozen margarita from the slushy machine, which was an absolute hit on a warm, June evening (it was refilled at least 3 times!). Food was spectacular - chicken wings, cauliflower "wings" and so much more! There was plenty of it even though we followed Alex advice and booked it for about 70% of the final guests' number. We had our wedding playlist from Spotify, which bar staff put on and played throughout the night. There were 3 key moments to arrange with the staff - cake cutting+toast, buffet start/finish, and cake serving. All was smooth and well organised by Alex and his team. Throughout the night, we were keeping an eye on the budget and bar bill - Alex was there to help us manage it, making it super easy. Overall, we had about 70-80 people there, and there was PLENTY of room for people dancing and having a quiet catch up in one of the booths. It was a cracking party and we highly recommend this venue for a wedding party, birthday etc. It has a great atmosphere, and Innis'n'Gunn team is absolutely fantastic!

Hired the top floor for a 40th birthday party - great venue. Alex and Geoff very helpful when planning. Food went down well with everyone - vegans/vegetarians well catered for. Gluten free options were also appreciated. Russel and Brad behind the bar were friendly and provided a great level of service. Thanks.

Ordered a Double IPA (DIPA) which should be served as a third of a pint due to the large ABV%…. NO! The barman served me a full pint and only charged for one third of a pint… The DIPA is 14 odd % ABV, so this is incredibly irresponsible and potentially dangerous to customers. Most people wouldn’t complain about this, but thankfully I hadn’t had anything prior to drink, if I did have however then I’d reckon the bar staff would have had to pick me up off the floor. Just a bit irresponsible and possibly some additional training needed for the staff. It’s clearly stated in the massive board above the bar what’s on tap, the price and what the measure is…

The steak/frites was delicious and the service was good. I will come back when I'm next in Glasgow!

What a Sunday lunch. We booked a table for 1330 hrs today and had a fantastic afternoon. The staff were very friendly and helpful atmosphere perfect and the food was outstanding. Wouldn't hesitate going g back or recommending it to anyone.

Been a few times now for the Versus series upstairs & also once or twice to bar downstairs… very very good selection of beers & Vs series really is FANTASTIC… great value for money…October was Mexican 🇲🇽 last month (December) was steaks 🥩 which were awesome… so good I’ve been trying to find out some of recipes for the sauces! Definitely recommend

Criag was the best brewtender I have ever had. It was a fantastic experience! It was such value for money, and the food was exceptional. Craig is such a brilliant guy, made the class fantastic!

Last week I had Xmas dinner at Innes and Gunn and there was issues in the kitchen which resulted in long delays before we received the food. The staff were friendly and apologetic with regards to the issues. I initially reviewed my experience as poor and was contacted by the manager who apologise for their lapse in service. Myself and my party were invited today for a complementary lunch with drinks. I'd like to thank the management and staff for a great afternoon, the food and beer was amazing and the staff are super friendly. I will definitely be back and thanks for great customer service 👏

Got hot dogs. We never enjoyed them very chewy not worth the money

Booked a night out with a bunch of friends. Food was pre-ordered weeks ago. Table booked for 19.30. starters arrived at 21.25!. Mains at 22.10!, deserts at 22.40!. Staff, who were having to shout to be heard, were apologetic and said it was the kitchen (no idea what was meant by that). Food was very very salty and lukewarm and the restaurant was the noisiest I've ever been in. By the time I returned home I had tinnitus. I won't be back.

Booked Innis & Gunn Ashton Lane for our corporate Christmas function. The staff are all awesome, the food was superb and the cocktails were fabulous! Even the door staff / security are happy & friendly! Will be booking again. Ps the Innis & Gunn Mango IPA glazed pig's in blankets were unreal. Thanks guys x

Christmas Work night out for 20 people, pre-ordered food, table booked for 7pm starter served at 8:30pm food was that salty I couldn’t finish it, not good. Very disappointed as were most of my workmates.

I personelly think it’s over rated over priced foods ok not wow the beer /lager I drank tasted like carbonnated water no jack D only some premium jd wouldn’t make a point of going back rather spend my time n money else were where the food isn’t a hit N miss

Went for steak frites Sunday night. We’d been in the city taproom and loved it, and were surprised that this surpassed it! The two guys working Sunday 3rd December (sorry not to catch your names!) we’re ace. Attentive, super friendly, and good banter. Felt really well looked after. Food was also top notch, and getting that refill plate is absurdly good value. Chips really well seasoned and the steak was cooked perfectly. The margarita and French martini we ordered after were class too. Atmosphere was good but it was a surprisingly quiet night. We’d been in same time the day before for drinks and it was really busy. (Service had still been ace though given how busy the bar was!)

Attended the beer making class. It was Craig who took the class, he was great, full of confidence and knew his stuff. He made the class very interesting. The beers we tried were very tasty. Lunch was delicious.

The bar staff were welcoming and good craic. We had booked some tables on the top floor which felt intimate and ended up being perfect for our little birthday get together. We were graced by the presence of this lovely dog so I'm assuming they are dog friendly. Prices for drinks are cheaper than I thought they would be so that's also a plus.

Just down a star as it was absolutely baltic upstairs. Cannot fault anything else, great selection of veggie food and wings for the meat eaters and tasting session went down a treat!

What a breath of fresh air and a delicious beer to boot. After a great weekend in Glasgow this was the head on the pint. Great music, rugby on the box, games on the tables if you fancied it. Even a wee child was enjoying his best life. Staff were friendly and helpful, beer was pukka and while we didn't eat the grub looked and smelt top notch.

My daughter and I attended a Brew School experience, this was a Fathers day gift. The Taproom has a really great atmosphere, you really feel at home. The Staff were great and the service very good. The Brew School experience was interesting and fun, Alice the Brew Master did an excellent job and made our time there so enjoyable. We were well looked after with beer samples and a lovely lunch, food was great. We were really looking forward to going back to collect the beer. We did a few weeks later and spent a few hours again with more drinks, lunch and took the beer kegs home. Many thanks again to all the staff and we are looking forward to trying the beer.

As a brewery/beer garden, it was great service and selection. We felt our food was overpriced and the quality was mediocre. The fries were cooked in oi that wasn't hot enough and very greasy

The beer is good, the service could be better, I waited nearly 30 minutes for my one course lunch. The atmosphere was a bit dingy, its been a while since I was here and I think its not as appealing from my last visit.

Went to both Innis in Glasgow. The one nearer the central train station & also this one in Ashton Lane . There were lots of choices if you are into your beer ! Nice menu too with burgers & mac n cheese . Friendly staff .

Came in to shelter from the rain for a while with my daughter and granddaughter. Staff were friendly and helpful and food was really nice with a large selection of drinks.

Went to the beer making experience and it was brilliant, met new people, had a fab lunch and sampled some fantastic beers.

It's a nice place, good selection of beers. The food was excellent. However my group got asked to leave due to someone apparently being too drunk. The staff oddly couldn't point out who it was and refused to elaborate. Strange end to a night and custom lost for them in future.

This fun pub is located in the eclectic Ashton Lane district of Glasgow. There are several pubs and restaurants on Ashton Lane, but I think we chose wisely. Innis & Gunn offers lots of great drink options, including some of their own craft brews. We enjoyed one of those "Innis & Gunn specials" with a very tasty burger and chips. The vibe is bright and upbeat. What a great experience!

Went on a busy Saturday afternoon so it was mobbed and service was understandably a little slow. Staff apologetic about food being delayed, but it wasn't a big deal, and the dishes were well worth waiting a few extra minutes for. Beer and cider also very good.

Popped in for a quick brunch and a beer. Service very good, food quality better than expected and drinks were spot on

Loved this pub. The location, the food, and service. We were served by a very friendly bar tender who also provided a bit a tasting before we purchased. She seemed to really enjoy her job and the customers too.

Came in for the quiz last Monday what a fantastic night food was incredible Ross is the best quiz master. Russell is a fab bar man he knew so much about the beers and was able to direct me to the best choices will most definitely be back and recommend to friends and family what a wonderful wee pub.

We had the scotch egg and chicken wings starters followed by the Schnitzel main and the OG Burger. The staff were top notch. Drinks arrived quickly and food arrived with good time between courses. Really tasty, hot meals. Tender chicken and perfectly done burger patties. With the whole range of Innis & Gunn on tap and a great selection of other drinks that gives them top marks. Thanks guys! Lovely night!
