Inger-lises Coffee Bar in New Forest

Another wonderful visit to Saltwater, our third over the last few years, and our first at their new setting on the green. One of the things we love about this place is thinking we've decided what we want, until we see what's being served up on other tables.... this time it was the wild garlic mushrooms on sourdough that turned our heads. It did not disappoint. Absolutely gorgeous. The additional smoked salmon and bacon came in very generous portions and added that bit extra to each meal. As ever, staff were very attentive and friendly. We love this place - always the #1 highlight of a trip to the New Forest ;-)

Must book in advance this very popular cafe, it seems to have lots of regulars - always a good sign. Our 2 very well behaved Labradors were very welcomed, we had the large round table inside by the counter. Delicious all day breakfasts,we had 4 different dishes consisting of Shakshouka with added bacon, a posh version of eggs Benedict, smashed avocado on toast with bacon, we each had 2 drinks, kale smoothie, oat smoothie and a delicious milk shake, oat lattes, chai lattes and it came to £72 bargain ! Considering the quality of the food, presentation and ambience and excellent service. Very recommended we will be back. It was fairly easy to find free parking on Sunday morning.

We ate breakfast here back in August 2022. We had two meat breakfast pans. It was good. We also had a sausage ciabatta, which was fine.

Fantastic lunch, very generous portions and all tasty. Very helpful with gluten free and lots of options on the menu.

Wow! It’s always been good but since moving to the middle of the village this place has blown every other eatery in the village out of the water. The food is amazing, so fresh and well put together at reasonable prices. The menu is great for plant based eaters and meat eaters alike. The staff are really great, so friendly and welcoming and our family love eating out here. Hope you will open in the evenings one day as, for us, Saltwater will be our first choice for dining out.

Terrible service - try the Paddle on the Green or somewhere else locally for better service and food.

So glad we do not live in Milford on Sea, we would have to be in Saltwater every day. Whilst on holiday we could not resist breakfast. French toast was simply fantastic. Service excellent. Thank you

A wonderful treat. The poached egg and avocado on toast served with beetroot houmous is probably one to fight over. (Yes beetroot - wow what a combo)

Avocado sourdough toast, poached egg, Beetroot hummus, Vine tomatoes. Add streaky bacon. You would be foolish not to.

Wild mushrooms for breakfast, a wonderful concoction of fresh ingredients perfectly cooked. Very enjoyable & thoroughly recommend.

Literally cannot find one fault with this place the breakfast is simply the best in the forest food and staff are excellent just love eating here

One of our favourite eating places has recently moved just up the road to beside the village green in Milford on Sea. But same great staff, great chef and delicious menu - amongst our favourites are the Sushi Bowl at lunchtime with prawns, smoked salmon, sticky rice, edamame and lots more. Menu offers lots of interesting choices for breakfast, brunch and lunch - even if you don't eat gluten or dairy like me! Dogs are very welcome and Molly now expects her treat! Never ever disappoints which is why we go back again and again.

Have recently moved to Milford and was recommended Saltwater. My wife and I had breakfast and it didn’t disappoint. The use of quality ingredients was evident. The food, presentation and service was spot on. Keep up the the great work. See you again soon.
