had to heat up my vegetable and chicken poroaka in the oven as it's was look warm and wasn't hot enough and restaurants didn't follow my instructions and very disappointed 😔☹️ and thump's 👎 down from me❓

I’m a big Indian scene fan but this time it was poor. food was cold, soggy poppadoms, nan bread hard and cold. Hoping it was a 1 off

chips half cooked not much taste of chicken not as nice as normal

We ordered two curries a south Indian garlic chilli and a jaipuri but both looked and tasted exactly the same. They were both a quite bland, brown sauce with green leaves through it, no garlic or chilli in sight. I'm not sure if we were given the wrong curries as the restaurant was busy but very disappointed. The rest of the food was OK but quite over priced for an OK take away

food arrived stone cold, ordered a chicken tikka which looked and tasted like a poor korma, called to be told thats how the tikka comes, not what I call a tikka nor did I expect that. poppadoms where all soggy and wet, due to been stapled outside of bag no protection from the horrendous rain. 1st time ordering and won't be again. only ate it due to been starving, wasted of money.

The staff here are very attentive, great recommendations of food , lovely atmosphere, food fantastic, worth a visit. Nice wine and non alcohol beer . Best Indian food we have tasted in a long time .

ordered the meal deal for 1 and a can for about £25 at 7.30. estimated delivery was 8.30 to 8.50. 9pm came and went so call the shop and it said busy delayed to 9.20. this was despite it saying out for delivery at about 8.40... spiced onions were missing. the pompadoms had obviosly been sitting in the steam so were flopy and chewy. the garlic nan was sitting in a pool of oil that soaked through its brown bag and the main paper bag. the veg pakora and korma were luke warm so needed to microwaved

Booked for 7pm, seated at 7.30 had to ask for menu at 7.45. Very busy and extremely NOISY not a nice atmosphere virtually no service, will not be back

Myself and husband had a meal here upon recommendation, that the food was lovely. Everything was tasty and cooked well. However I ordered the 'Staff Curry' which is Lamb cooked 'on' the bone. It tasted delish, however soon int the meal, I bit into hard bone, then another bone, then another. My dish had 3 maybe 4 pieces of lamb, the rest of the dish was bone or fat. I was extremely disappointed and pointed this out to the waitress, who replied 'well you did order lamb cooked on the bone' I pointed out calmly, I accepted this, but didn't expect 3/4 of my plate to be bone and fat. She then insisted she go get me another type of dish. I explained I didn't want any more food, I was just pointing this out for the chef. After pointing this out to the waitress, myself and husband sat for a long while and no staff came near our table to clear it or speak to us. The waitress who took our order eventually came to the table next to us, to set it up and was clearly banging the cutlery around with attitude. She didn't look at us. We were not asked if we wanted any dessert or tea's or coffees etc. I am not one who usually complains in a resturant and was getting clearly upset by the experience. I finally called on someone to bring us the bill. My husband, who is also not a complainer pointed out to the waitress that we were very upset with the experience and once again she said 'let me sort this by giving you another Curry. I really didn't want any more food. She insisted and walked off to get me a curry. By this point we were more upset with the way we were being treated and not listened to, than the actual bones and fat on my plate. As we were about to leave a man, whom we think was the manager came up and once again said 'you ordered a lamb meal that was cooked on the bone' but here is a voucher for £10 to use in the future.'This should cover the price of your lamb dish. (It didn't) Again we were not looking for anything, as my initial complaint was to merely point out the amount of fat and bone on my plate. As much as we appreciate this gesture, the voucher will not be used, as we will never return to this resturant or order takeaway. Customer service and the way you treat your client is everything. We left feeling we hadnt been listened to and wronly judged, why the initial complaint had been made. We felt made to feel as if we were looking for more food, money off our bill or a voucher. Passive aggressive customer service, is not good customer service. We won't be back.

A bit crowded when we went, but good food and service

Best Indian in Paisley, food is always great, this time no exception. The only downside is the price, getting way to expensive that its now only ordered on special occasions.

Regular customer but have to say food was coldest ever when delivered. Pakoras and chapati do not reheat well from cold.

Order was missing pakora, called up & had the option to get it delivered or a freebie next time I order. Food is fab & could not have been more apologetic on the phone 👍🏼

Visit was on a Saturday 7pm for a party of 4, First problem was getting through the front door which was crowded with people either waiting for tables or take away. Restaurant was busy crowded and noisy. Our table was immediately available, having booked online. We each ordered drinks starters & main courses. The service was fast and the food reasonable. On completion of our mail we received our bill and noted some additional costs. At 8:20pm we were asked to vacate our table due to the numbers waiting. We will not be returning to this restaurant

Waited 1hour and 45mins for order to arrive, phoned 3x to be told driver has order so driver must of had order for over 30 minutes. Phoned arrived cold, popadoms soggy you could fold them in half and didn’t deliver the bottle of juice. Very disappointed

Food was so fresh and tasty and early which was great only grip is that the app didn’t update to say it was being delivered

Had takeaway ordered chicken tikka and a chicken korma, both tasted exactly the same, a bland yellow sauce, tasted of neither korma or tikka, the peshwari nan bread was inedible, it crunched and snapped up like a popadom, £38 down the drain 😡😤

I have unusual food allergies, which I notified the staff about when I booked. The food was lovely and my allergies were handled very well. The staff were polite and friendly.

Food was good quality although did enjoy the chips. The disappointing thing was it arrived cold we ate in and enjoyed it but feel they should look at the packaging for deliveries to keep food warm.

Missing items. Prices are also through the roof now. They keep increasing the prices, on just about everything, every month it feels like. Great food (when it all actually arrives) but just no longer affordable unfortunately.

Always our go to when we are needing a curry We arrived on New Year's Eve after my husband booking a table last minute. Turned out he booked for the 2nd of January and not in fact New Year's Eve at all, hangry as anything with a sleeping baby in her car seat i decided let's just get a take away and go home. The owners I think feared for my husbands life at this point and managed to literally squeeze us in for a sit in meal. The food was 10/10 as always and service great ! Everytime we visit we are always really well looked after and the staff take time to chat away & make sure we have a great time. Thank you again from the malloch family

Main food was amazzzing but pakora was a bit sad for price (large mixed £8.50) 4 pieces of chicken pakora, 4 vegetable pakora and approx 6 mushroom )

Order all time from restaurant but madras was really poor no flavour and was ultra hot. Disappointed

Delivered a Korma instead of a Masala.

We visited this place as a change to our usual local restuarant. The interior is modern and the staff are really nice. We ordered fish pakora, which was a decent sized portion and very tasty. Mains were North Indian garlic chicken tikka, and chicken tikka tava. Both dishes were really delicious, as was the naan bread and rice. Drinks were reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. Food was piping hot. Highly recommended and will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

Wrong order, missing poppadoms, food cold. Very disappointing

Food was cold and was an hour later than the estimated delivery time. I had to phone but didn’t get any help, just got told it was ‘on its way’ but no real mention of the fact it was extremely late or offer of an apology or compensation

Great meal, staff and environment.

This was a collection. Pakora was dry, did not taste fresh and was disappointing. Pakora sauce was lovely. Popadoms were soft and chose not to eat them. Spiced onions were tasty. The curry was OK. Nan was lovely. Overall, a very disappointing Friday night takeaway.

The meal wasn't hot, luke warm at best. It was collected before the time we were told so not as if it gir cold because we were late picking it up. The food was not as expected either. The chicken tikka I had before which was lovely was what I expected to get again but it was completely different, my partners lamb karahi was mediocre too. So disappointed.

My first time here after a friend had recommended it. -Staff clearly hold themselves to a very high standard of excellence, they are very professional. -Restaurant was very clean, and also had amazingly clean toilets. -Food was very nice, and came very quickly after ordering.

Excellent quality and delivery was received piping hot. Chicken tikka is my go-to and in my opinion is the best dish on the menu! Thanks again guys!

Best Indian restaurant in Paisley. Beats the rest hands down. I've been to every Indian restaurant and take away in Paisley, nothing comes close to this. Honest opinion.

Food was great but I bit expensive.

A bit cold but the quality was great. Would've been 5/5 if it arrived warm.

Meal arrived and was cold. I phoned Indian Scene and was offered a discount on a replacement meal and refused. The restaurant then phoned back and said they could deliver a replacement meal within 20 minutes and I agreed. On checking my bank, I find I have been charged a reduced amount as well as the full amount. I don't eat reheated food when I don't know its history, so the first delivery was binned.

It was a busy Saturday and to be fair the restaurant called to tell us it would be later than expected and apologised. Great customer service thanks

Food was 50 minutes late and arrived cold. We waited a total of 2 hrs 10 minutes for it to arrive. We always order from here but I am not happy with tonight's service. Ordered at 6.30pm and by the time it was reheat in the oven, we were eating at 9pm. Disappointed.

Garlic naan and pakora was stone cold and not a great portion size either. First time trying here and for the cost and quality there is much better options in paisley.

Was accidentally sent wrong curry. Called restaurant and they were very apologetic. Sent out new curry and a fresh nan bread to go with it.

So glad we found this restaurant in paisley. Great food great staff and a warm atmosphere.

Ordered a buffet for my birthday which arrived as planned and was hot! Excellent presentation and service was fabulous! I have never had a better curry from anywhere else! I would recommend Indian scene to everyone!

Food was cold, everything had to be reheated! This is becoming the norm from Indian scene unfortunately. Complained the last time we ordered because items were missing…still waiting on it being acknowledged & someone calling us back! For our regular take away at least twice a month I will no longer be ordering from here.

This indian restaurant had been recommended to us and it did not disappoint. The staff were lovely very attentive, knowledgeable around the dishes and ingredients and the waitress was able to advise us on sauces to complement our dish. The food was delicious 😋 Lovely surroundings but I would advise booking as it is small and a very popular restaurant. . We will be back thank you .

Fantastic family night out for 9 people 28/09/2023 to commemorate my recently dearly departed 94 yr old mother. Food , service , atmos phere and lovely surroundings enjoyed by all. Well done to you and all of your staff. This is a must visit type of place I would highly recommend.

Great food never disappoints and loads of option.

First time ordering from here and I was impressed. Food arrived quickly and it was piping hot. It tasted really fresh. The meals were delicious, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Safe to say it was one of the best Indian food I have ever tried. Highly recommended!

Had a fantastic experience in the newly refurbished Indian Scene last night. The staff were first class, and the food was as good as we've ever had in an Indian restaurant. The restaurant was full, which made for a great atmosphere. We're really looking forward to returning next Saturday.

The food wasn’t very nice if I’m being honest. Poppadoms were soft and tasted greasy. The nan bread soggy. The Chasni was ok, I’ve tasted much nicer from other local Indian restaurants. Won’t be back, sorry.

The food was really nice but pricey for such small portions.

We hadn't booked but we were lucky to get a table. Our starter of spicy onions and poppadom was spot on. Our meal of the Staff curry( lamb on the bone ) was lovely. We had a very nice time . The staff were attentive and ensured our time there was good. Would recommend this restaurant.

Delivery never came. Devastated

First visit here and really enjoyed it. Friendly chatty staff who made us feel welcome and valued. Good food and nice surroundings. Would definitely return.
