Indian Quay in Rugby

The food was absolutely fantastic. The owner was pleasant and very friendly. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant and a pleasant location looking out onto the harbour. If you are looking for authentic Indian food this is the restaurant for you, I would highly recommend you pay them a visit.

Not good! First thing to mention is the head waiter.. Not good. Its all about him. He shouts across the restaurant what you are ordering. Doesn't listen to ANYTHING you say. I asked for an onion and coriander naan to which he answered we don't do anything off menu. Then shouted I'll ask the chef but his really really busy. There were 7 people in the restaurant and 5 of them had already been served their mains. He comes out of kitchen once again shouting so everyone can hear him. This once we can do the naan!! Like it was some enormous favour popping some onion and coriander in the bread... He is one of the worse waiters I have come across. The food was very bland and I asked for tikka meat in my main it was plain chicken. Never the same. I actually couldn't be bothered to say anything as I could not stand the other 5 people hearing his explanation. I'm certain it would have turned out to be my fault!. I had4 pieces of chicken and some half cooked onions in a gravy it was meant to be a patia.. a korma would have been more spicy. Such a shame as it was clean and the decor was nice. What ever would make people return to this place. As we were paying, at the counter as he couldn't be bothered to take card machine to table I said when asked that curry was far to mild he said well you should gave ordered it hot most people complain about spice.. I said well had I'd been aware that it was going to be like I would gave but it was meant to be hot and sour so assumed it would have been . He just looked at me as if I'd not said a thing. He really could have not cared less.. never again!

He estado aquí antes y estaba deseando celebrar dos cumpleaños esta noche. Para empezar, elegimos los bhaji de cebolla para que un hombrecillo grosero nos dijera que no había ninguno disponible porque el chef ya había cocinado mucho. ! Había que elegir una alternativa y el Hombrecito estaba impaciente. Pedimos platos principales y mi hija pidió que nos dijeran el pollo y las patatas fritas que no vamos a hacer eso esta noche. No puede tolerar las especias debido a una afección médica, por lo que terminó con solo arroz, ya que no había otra alternativa para ella. Servicio muy lento, entrante ridículamente pequeño y caro seguido finalmente por un plato principal razonable. Aunque no es bueno y definitivamente no tan bueno como visitas anteriores. Mi amigo mencionó que las cosas no habían ido muy bien y el hombrecillo culpó al gobierno de comer fuera para ayudar con el plan. Era grosero, desagradable y no tenía ninguna habilidad de servicio al cliente. Resultó que él era el gerente, por lo que todo el desastre tenía sentido si era él quien tomaba las decisiones. Escuchamos a varias otras mesas quejándose de la comida y el servicio, pero al hombrecito no le importaba. Realmente triste como solíamos amarlo, pero no volveremos.

Visité allí ayer. Todos los niveles de mal. La comida era una broma. Servicio de mala educación. Me encanta la comida india, pero este lugar fue el peor al que he tenido el desafortunado error de ir
