Hill Murry Indian restaurant and takeaway in Rugby

Been here a few time's, never seem to fail to impress, tried a few curry's in and around Rugby, I'm always drawn back here, keep up the great food and service Kevin & Karen

We ordered 3 different dishes. Butter Chicken, Tandoori Chicken Massala and Napali Chicken. All the dishes looked very similar in colour. Butter chicken wasn't creamy and had no taste resembling a butter chicken. Tandoori chicken massala again had no flavour and was very odd not enjoyable. Napali chicken again no flavour and undesirable. We ate some of the food but to be honest it was a total waste of money. Defiantly not returning. Careful of the reviews, I based my purchase here on the reviews since Exotica Bengal has closed I needed to find a new Indian restaurant to have food from.... I guess the search continues as it won't be here Order was supposed to be between 7:05 and 7:25pm, but arrived by 7:50 wouldn't have minded if the food was decent but it's not of a good standard.

Appalling food. Some of the worst I’ve experienced. Couldn’t eat it. Also took 2 hours to deliver. Joke of a company. Let’s face it… the Indian takeaway scene in rugby is seriously lacking these days. Never again with these clowns.

We waited 2 hours for delivery! When they past the first deadline I contacted them through the app and they gave me a new deadline. They missed the second one by more than 20 minutes too. We had kids waiting for their birthday celebratory meal. Not good. I would rather they focus on timelines, rather than giving us extra food and plastic containers that we didn’t want.

The order wasn't placed at all. I tried to call several times, but no one answered.

Lovely food. They put extra in onion bagees fab . potatoe curry side dish ( not nice ). But all our starts mains side tasted great and was warm . Would recommend

It's been nearly 3 hours since I ordered my food, it was promised at 18:50 which was a long wait itself and its now 20:28, its new years eve so I imagine they're busy, but don't promise a time if you can't meet it. Maybe it'll turn up by next year and I can enjoy my nice cold Biryani. I tried calling the store multiple times and when the line wasn't busy, no one bothered to answer then phone. Thanks for nothing

Ordered loads of times from here, but today the delivery and the service was shocking. no apology from the driver who was very sarcastic.

Order never arrived. Took my money, never replied to any messages, don’t answer their phone. Over £40 spent. Lesson learnt, will take legal action to reclaim lost funds.

All the food was great, saag paneer was fab and they threw in some freebies of potatoes and onion bhaji

didn't turn up, went to restaurant as wasn't answering phones. seems they accepted the order without actually doing it as place was jam packed. if you can't do it because you are busy don't accept order. Requested refund .

App says order has been delivered, nothing has been delivered. Restaurant will not answer the phone or text me back when requested, have paid £40 for food that has not been delivered sat here starving and nobody will pick up the phone to explain where the food is

Ordered over 2 hours ago and STILL waiting for my food! Totally unacceptable

Delivery never arrived. This is the 2nd time this has happened and I will not be using them again. Phone is ringing out and they are not communicating. Not professional at all - I have used this restaurant for years but this will be the last time.

Over an hour late to be delivered with no communication, when tried calling no one answered. Must have called over 50 times. Then when the food came it was cold, the popadoms were soft, the chips were undercooked and the food was just generally terrible.

I had the set meal for 1, great value for money and they chucked in a nice freebie. I can't fault anything, it arrived early, was hot and delicious. definitely my new place to go when I fancy Indian food again

Went for dinner here last night for my mums birthday. All the young men greeting us and serving us were amazing and the food was absolutely delicious

Excellent food, loads of flavour in the curry and naan and really tender meat. On top of all that they threw in a few poppadoms and bhajis for free too.

Your system gave the vendor the wrong address ? Do they phoned to confirm address But your system caused them to be late

The food was outstanding as always. Still arrived piping hot and there was so much food it lasted for lunch the next day. It was late but I wouldn’t mind that if the fact that the app had said it was delivered when it wasn’t. If the tracking was more accurate then I wouldn’t have marked it down but definitely can’t fault the restaurant

Ordered 3 extra popodoms to add to the ones that come with the meal and also added lots more dips to go with them and I've only had 3 popodoms turn up .

I ordered lamb madras, and this has JUST arrived, definitely not a madras. There is no kick or spice or flavour to it at all. Took over an hour to arrive so not even worth calling to complain as wouldn’t be here for even longer. Pretty disappointed

We have eaten in the restaurant and been really happy. However the takeaway was awful. Not to the quality expected and just tasteless and soggy. Very disappointing.

Should of arrived between 18:05-18:25 arrived at 18:55 app said delivered at 18:25…

no rice with order, they came back but had to heat everything else up and we ate later than we wanted. Poppadoms weren't crunchy either. We were left disappointed 😞

such lovely curry from this place and we always have a lovely meal. we were missing a rice but we pinged a bag in the microwave so not the end of the world.

This has been my pregnancy craving for the last 3 months, i must of ordered over 20 times🫣 but tonight REALLY dissapointed. Chips are barely cooked and naan bread tastes funny. Sad

Ordered early 5.20 came 7.05 after i called said be 5 minutes, then 30 minutes later it came. Shame became nice food.

Was told after ordering at 7:05 that delivery would be between 8:15 & 8:30, which seemed a long time but okay as it was a busy Saturday, but foods didn’t arrive until 9:05. Was very good as usual but just far too late

Fantastic customer service from the restaurant! Order got mixed up, but they quickly rectified and sent us our correct order.

Totally worth the wait. The food was absolutely delicious and the best Indian takeaway away we've had so far since moving to rugby. I think we had a Naan bread missing but to be honest we didn't need it we had more than enough. I ordered the set menu for 2people with an extra curry for the 3rd person and there was plenty. I have a house of fussy eaters who are just starting to expand their palates so we had mild curries, they were cooked beautifully with generous portions & lots of flavour.

Delivery was quick but food mediocre.. popadoms were missing, chips were soggy and the korma was watery. Sorry won’t be ordering from here again.

Have used hill murry a few times now. Never had a bad meal, has always turned up. For me has to be best in town. Keep up the good work guys. Will continue ordering my curry from you

Lovely Set Meals as usual. A slight shame on the ‘spicy chips’, they were more like soggy french fries with no spice to them at all. The curry’s didn’t have the same level of spice to them as usual but still really enjoyable. Delivery took a while, just over 1hr 30mins but it arrived in the end!
