Delivery was quick but food mediocre.. popadoms were missing, chips were soggy and the korma was watery. Sorry won’t be ordering from here again.

Lovely Set Meals as usual. A slight shame on the ‘spicy chips’, they were more like soggy french fries with no spice to them at all. The curry’s didn’t have the same level of spice to them as usual but still really enjoyable. Delivery took a while, just over 1hr 30mins but it arrived in the end!

Best Indian restaurant in the area without doubt. All dishes are very generous ,delicious, full of flavour and actually taste as you would expect.Staff are courteous and friendly and nothing is too much trouble.Service is very good and restaurant is clean with nice decor. Will be back.

Amazing service! Collected order, even very kindly changed my order eventhough they had already started cooking. I explained it wasn't a problem for me, just a preference and I'd forgot to put in the comments, but they went above and beyond and restarted my chosen dish, which I thought was extremely kind. All staff were polite, it was ready in record time, and they even carried it to the car for me! lovely people, lovely place, and more importantly, lovely food!

Never really order take out anymore as we always end up disappointed. Not this time, honestly this was so so good everything about it was superb and full of flavour! First time ordering from here and will NOT be the last! even got a few extras. Thankyou 10/10.

Food was tepid and the poppadoms were soggy when it arrived. We didn't get the chocolate fudge cake, which was not communicated beforehand, and got some ice cream alternatives instead. I had to phone to chase up the delivery as it was 30 mins late, and the alternatives were not mentioned.

Oder was mixed up slightly with my wife having a lamb Rogan Josh when she ordered a chicken one. My Lamb korma ended up being a beef one . But no complaints as the food was wonderful with great portions and piping hot. Will be ordering again .

Ordered online. Ordered a set meal for 2 . What a disappointment. Had tandoori chicken starter which was a bone covered in tandoori sauce..also had mixed tandoori kebab starter which tasteless and boring. 2x chicken tikka rogan josh . Curry was watery and so was the rice. Would not recommend or purchase agin .waste of over £30.

The delivery was really late, and h the food was lukewarm when it arrived, they added a lamb dish to my order even though I didn’t order one, I’m a vegetarian! So that was horrible. The food was black and really awful ! Don’t order form this place !!!

My order was due to be delivered by 20:55 at the latest but it was delivered ridiculously late! Hill Murray blamed it on a high number of orders and not enough delivery drivers. That may be true but it would've been nice to have been notified that my delivery would be late as they have my number attached to my order. It eventually arrived over an hour late.

I ordered the food at 7.50 it arrived at 10 pm. awful and no apology. .

Ordered foot at 6pm for 8pm. At just before 8pm we were told that the food on its way. App marked it as ‘on the way’. Phoned restaurant at 8:45 to be told it hadn’t yet left. Food arrived just before 9:30pm. Not good from a delivery point of view.

We visited Hill Murry for the first time for a friend's birthday and although we were a party of 8, the food and service were both excellent. Our visit was around 8pm on a Saturday evening so the restaurant was pretty busy but not full. We had reserved so we did have a table waiting for us; this was a quite cramped and we did struggle to get in and out of our seats. Inside was bright but not particularly exciting aesthetically, and the male toilets are a little grim. However, this was the only real negative and the service and food certainly made up for it. As a larger party, our service was fantastic; the server was personable and made a real effort to communicate to the group, in what was a very natural and friendly manner. Food arrived very quickly and was piping hot, with no complaints from any of the party. We all started with Popadoms and a selection of Dips, these were pretty standard but the dips seemed fresh. To follow, I ordered 'Lamb Rogon Josh' with 'Mushroom Rice' and a 'Garlic Naan'. The Rogon Josh was full of flavour, with a rich tomato sauce and the amount of lamb was very generous. The quality of lamb itself was fantastic, melting in your mouth and no issues at all at being chewy. A little more spice would have been welcome but in fairness, they do say that dishes can be made stronger upon request. This was one of the best Rogon Josh dishes I have had in a while and I would find it difficult not to order this again. The Mushroom Rice was well cooked but not particularly strong in flavour, a little bland and this was a shame. The Garlic Naan however, was sensational. Fresh, hot, a pillowy texture and a strong garlic kick, this went wonderfully with the Rogon Josh and was a real highlight of the meal. Other members of the party had a mix of different Naans but we all agreed how good they were. The portions are also very generous and we certainly could have shared rice in groups of 2. Although some parts of the restaurant seem a little tired and you may get knocked out by the toilet door, the food and service really were to a high standard and very well priced, especially considering the portion sizes. This will now be our go to Indian Restaurant in Rugby and I can definitely understand why it is so popular amongst locals. 8.5/10 Visited Saturday 2nd March 2024

Food is absolutely beautiful, defo coming back

Poor quality food, fish was frozen preserved fish, no flavour, my advice would be to taste your food, as there is no taste or flavour, very dissapointed with the price paid.

I have eaten here three times now over the last 18 months or so, and have had a really good meal on each occasion. I always have Chicken Balti, whereve I go, and last night the chef agreed to cook it sightly extra spicy on my request. It was fabulous, savoury and spicy with a lovely sour aftertaste, perfect. The chicken was tender and the veg perfect. I always have a plain naan too, which was also very good. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the restaurant at least half full on a Wednesday evening, with a good mix of friendly clientele making for a very pleasant ambiance. I am astonished by the negative reviews because this is my favourite Indian restaurant in the area. I can assure you I know my onions, I have been a fan of Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani food for more than 40 years. I will undoubtedly return

Had to wait for rice as wasn't in the order that we made, so food was cold when we ate it

Not their usual standards, hope they haven’t changed their chef’s or changed their meat supplier as the meat was off and the curry sauce tasted very heavy with flour. May try once again second thoughts try a different curry house.

Good as always was exceptional. Did have to chase for late delivery when app wrongly confirmed delivery had been made though, although a few extras were added in to the meal

Had a rare treat and got a delivery from Hillmurray last night. What amazing food, Literally cannot fault it. The flavours were outstanding and portions massive. Got the 2 persons meal deal. Poppadoms, dips, Any 2 starters, mains, 1 side, rice and naan all less than £30. What great value. Cannot recommend this place enough. Also delivered on time from a very friendly driver.

Shocking. First time ordering and won’t be again. Said 45 minutes wait time and 2 hours later we are still waiting for our food. Rang twice to ask for an update and been fobbed off both times.

Over two and a half hours wait and then one main dish missing, worst service ever experienced on just eat.

This is usually our go to for Indian takeaway and I am very disappointed in the food today. The curry was very bland and half of one of them was spilt all over the bottom of the bag. Really not up to usual standards.

Food was ok but the delivery and the conversation with the restaurant was awful as restaurant front staff wasn't at all helpful on answering/ helping , why my order was 45 mins delayed. Avoid if you want something on time tbh
