Excellent food and excellent service in a nice Indian restaurant. Had the Dhansak which was lovely. Sister had Korma bro in law had thall . All delicious

dropped on to this place just passing through and so glad we did it beats any curry house around near us, eaten in a few times and have had take away too, always been spot on and staff really nice .

Far too many Indian restaurants in Brid to waste your money here. Blandest curry I’ve had in a long time.. starters no better. Only positive was the service which was good.

Decided I fancied an Indian so ordered a take away for collection. Of course I looked at the reviews before choosing Indian Palace. The one thing that stood out was reviews were either a 5 star or 1 star, though all the 1 star were takeaways while several of the 5 star were restaurant visits. I ordered a starter I had never seen before a Murgh Polak Pakora , it was strange though not unpleasant, diced chicken tikka pieces with spinach besan flour then deep fried . For main course I had a Tandoori Chicken Tikka Masalla and this was outstanding. Great portion size, nice chicken pieces and the spicing level and flavours were spot on . Interesting on collecting the server asked where I was from ( I’m Scottish originally with accent intact 😂) . Told him now live in Leeds , just bought a static caravan locally for breaks so looking a for a good regular curry house and I said I’m used to Bradford curries no I know a good one when I taste it. He then said in future that whatever curry I’m having to as for it “Asian style” and they will make it more like what their community would eat rather than what they prepare for the British palate ….. I’m definitely going to give that a go. So my advice is ignore the 1 stars and if going for a takeaway pick it up yourself .

Ordered on line and payment would not go through so ordered again I got two lots of food and when Iche ked my bank account I realisedthey had charged and ordered twiceto make thingseven worseThe food was cold And bland the Onion bajhi was hard and dried up and was obviously reheated from the previous day! Overall a very disappointing and expensive meal.

Not to miss when in Brid, you can walk straight in as a rule and you will be served fabulous food, highly recommended.

Collected a takeaway from there Saturday 4th Sept 2022 upon opening the chicken bhuanas it was apparent they did not smell right upon trying them I instantly spat the chicken out this is the worst curry I've ever had and the only one we have ever thrown in the bin bear in mind we come from bradford and have had some shockers but there normally edible this was not also soggy poppadoms the chips taste like they had been warmed up the only thing that was OK was the portion of onion bargies ......

Came here on a recommendation from a friend. The curries were piping hot and tasted great. They came with sides of poppadums and sauces. Only downside was that the service was very very slow despite it being quiet. I had to go to the bar for extra drinks and for our bill. However on the whole very good

I ordered £50 worth of food and it was absolutely awful my missus had to put hers in the microwave to warm it up and when I rang up and complained they would do nothing about it its a waste of money and I wouldn't recommend eating here or ordering from here to anyone!!

So we thought we would pop in to be welcomed by some Indian man he was nice at first and tried to be helpful things changed when the chicken wasn't cooked and the naan came out rock hard like it was taken off the plate from someone's left overs from the day before when I said it was rubbish he then got in a hump and talked to me like s**t I then said how DISCUSTING he was talking like that he started effing and c**ting at me ad kicked me out the restraunt I found him pretty racist to be honest I used to like this place but my god I feel sorry for the other people eating in there listening to his shouting and swearing use saffron much better and very professional ill never go Indian palace again and if you are reading this little man YOU ARE DISCUSTING human if I could give less than 1 star this would be the place I would do It very unprofessional

On holiday here for a short break. Visited as it was close to our accommodation. Couldn't fault the food. Well presented, tasty and appealing. The lady who served us was very friendly. Couldn't fault the place at all. 10 out of 10.

Only visit Bridlington occasionally so rarely get opportunity to review a restaurant. However, on this occasion, ordered a takeout. Really impressed. The meal was great, tasty and good value for money. At least we know where to get our takeout on our next visit.

Never had a bad meal from Indian palace Travel from Leeds for holidays and always use indian palace - sometime even taking a meal home as it is sooooo good !!!! The Chef's dazzling delight dish is an absolute fave as is the Chef's chicken...

Very satisfying dinner, everything you’d expect from Indian flavours without being overly hot and spicy. Kind and helpful staff, always a warm welcome especially from my dear friend. If you want good Indian cuisine in Brid, get down to The Palace.

Visited as a party of four. The service was so friendly and the waiter so well mannered.The food was excellent , I’m from Bradford so have eaten many great curries and this meal easily surpassed most of these. There was a slight wait for the main course which was the only negative but was worth the wait and we’ll visit on our next trip.

Had lunch today, feel totally ripped off and really annoyed with myself for paying the bill, but didn't want to cause a fuss on Christmas day with two small kids in tow. 2 adults 2 kids (aged 7 and 10) £99.80 on food!! Apparently there was a set menu that no one mentioned. We were given the normal menu when we got there with the usual prices on, no mention of a fixed price, my 7 year old had scampi and chips which was £6 95 on the menu and they charged me £25!!. Other son had sirloin steak £9.95 on the menu, that cost £25 too. I queried the bill once at the restaurant and was initially told that only me and husband had been charged for set menu, which even we hadn't signed up to but fair enough we both had a starter, a curry and a side each. I phoned them again when I got home as I was still confused how our bill was £122 to be told all 4 of us had paid the set price, very apologetic lady on the phone, but I still feel a bit like the shine has been taken off our day, I am more cross with myself for not refusing to pay Gutted because we have been going to indian palace for years.

Very nice people and food. We had a take away meal for 2 that was straight off the menu. We ordered the food, then called in the local pub 'The Old Ship Inn' for a drink. We then returned to our caravan and opened a bottle of wine. We really enjoyed the quality food, Thank you

We went on a Thursday evening, which has a special menu, alongside the usual me, being a Banquet Night. One gets popadoms, with pickles, followed by a good range of starters, the. Main meal curries with a choice of various naan and rice.We are always greeted with friendly and courteous charm and service is prompt and attentive, though not effusive.Popadoms are crisp and light, the pickle tray has a nicely varied selection.The starters are tasty and generous. They are always served at a good, hot temperature.The main courses are large, varied in texture and taste and the side dishes are excellent.For the very reasonable prices asked, this is a lovely way to enjoy a meal out, especially so with the special Banquet Night menu.The staff are most pleasant. It was good to have a chat with the owner, who always greet customers with grace and warmth.Shall we return?Of course we shall!

Having recently moved to Brid we've been working our way around the restaurants using tripadvisor to help, so despite this place being just around the corner from us we'd not been as 2 others were rated higher.

Had a birthday do here on Saturday. After the meal my friends and wife brought out a birthday cake, as a surprise, with a sugarcraft icied figure of Henry VIII on top. I collect tudor things so I indended to keep the figure in a glass or perspex box once it was home and I had acquired one. We were going on to other places after the meal and the staff said they would keep the cake so we could collect it the next day. My wife visited the next day and parts of the figure had been eaten!!! A arm and a shoulder were missing. The staff just started talking in Indian and waved their hand about when my wife confronted them angrily. This was all after we were accused when paying on Saturday night that the bill was £38 short, on insistence that the bill was rechecked they found that they had forgotten to account for someone who had already paid. Won't darken their doorstop again and OK its a cake but it was our cake not theirs to pick at.

I very rarely ever give 5 stars, but this place is so lovely, the staff are always so friendly they can never do enough. And of course the food is fantastic! Always enjoy it here. Defiently recommend!

To make a change (....!) we had the set meal for two. It was, as always, very tasty, and there was plenty of it. One never leaves hungry.

Had another take-away as I usually do on my regular visits. Never let me down with the fast service on delivery and top quality food. Probably the best indian food in Bridlington, and I’ve tried most of them. I never order at weekends as they are too busy.

We visited here as a group of 5 women last sat night for our monthly girls night out and it was great food, atmosphere and great company.

I recently visited Indian palace where I came across the Himalayan chilli chicken which came with rice and a side dish wish was yummy and after my meal I was asked if I would like complementary shots which was a nice touch.

This is a sit down restaurant however I only went there for a takeaway - The restaurant looked nice though - the food was very good and good value for money - The staff were very polite and helpful and threw in some extras [ poppadum's mint sauce and onion mix ] for free with my meals - I would recommend it for Curry lovers as the dishes were tasty and accurate with regards to the hotness as per the descriptions on the menu. waiting time was good - just long enough to read an article in one of the magazines they have in their waiting area - Good stuff.

The food is very nice , the service was good initially but when the lady serving us finished her shift a young chap took over and was very abrupt. He didn’t seem interested at all . It was around 10 pm the food actually arrived which wasn’t long after ordering but it was as if he wanted to get rid of us , which was a real shame as the food was very nice . Im not sure i would return... the hospitality that we were originally shown was very customer friendly but we simply felt rushed & in the way .

I didn’t finish all my meal so saved the remaining of my tandoori butter chicken for the next day. I started to eat my curry the next day and chewed on a bone; which stabbed the back of my throat as it was sharp. I spat this out then went onto check the rest of the curry for further bones. I found a bone that was the like a chicken drumstick size. I was mortified. This seriously put me off Indian food. I will never eat from here again!!!

Went here on Saturday for a birthday meal with 8 people, the service was excellent as always, all the starters and main courses very good, We have been here on many occasions over the last 30 years and have never been disappointed. However we have heard from other people that any tips do not go to the staff which is disappointing to say the least.

We use this place a lot and have always found it to be good value.- You are not rushed in any way - the staff are polite and accommodating. The menu is wide and varied and all the food is of a very good standard. We beleive that this is the best of the indian restaurants in the town. There is usually no need to book as there is plenty of seating.

We visit Brid a lot and have tried literally every Indian in town over the years. The Indian Palace, however, is in a class of it's own. Always seated quickly by the friendly staff and never feel pressured to hurry ordering or to finish as in some other places. The food is always very good and plentiful. The tandoori mixed grill is especially good. Staff are always ready to tailor the food to your own requirement on request. usually busy but never overpoweringly so, just a nice, relaxed buzz. All in all a restaurant I would highly recommend to anyone.

I can honestly say that this was one of the best takeaways we've had for a long time. All dishes were delicious and the poryions were really good value for money. Thanks very much.

Oh my goodness what’s happened to this restaurant. 6 of us visited tonight. Ordered 2 sharing platters for starters plus popadoms and pickle tray. Popadoms were lovely. Mixed starters were just ok. Had far better. But the curries - What a disappointment. 4 of us had curries that were inedible. Tasted of nothing but salt. The jalfrezi was more like a vindaloo and none of us could eat it. Staff really didn’t care. All 6 of us were regular customers but none of us will go back. Can only assume it was a different chef.

We really fancied a curry and wanted to try one not too far from where we live. We had the works popodoms starters and main. It was ok. It was fine just not wow. I can’t fault it but can’t do a ding and dance about it as had much better before. We are originally from Bradford so that maybe why!

Although it was a sat night, we didn't book & were seated straight away. Excellent service drinks & poppadoms offered as soon as we sat down. After ordering our food we weren't waiting long. We had mixed platter, murgh massala, chicken Rohan. All very tasty, but I would say nothing outstanding. We have eaten at both the saffron & Massala in Brid & from the 3 we would recommend Massala.

Ordered takeaway last night, when food arrived there was a dish missing which affected the party....the dishes that did arrive were warm in temperature but not hot. The flavour of the food was very average...dishes which were supposed to have a medium/hot flavour were very mild. Would not recommend and wouldn’t order from there again.

Went out on a Saturday night and even though it was busy the staff made us feel very welcome and we're very quick with our order. The food was excellent and there were plenty of choices and all at a really good price. Family friendly in good location to go out for drinks afterwards as plenty of pubs nearby.

When we moved to Brid I was concerned we might not find a good curry restaurant. We now regularly eat at The Indian Palace. We have ever had a poor curry, quite the reverse, it is always at least good, and there is plenty of it.

we stay over night in bridlington and came across the indian palace restaurant and it was delightful there were only 6 people in but the staff were very friendly and the food was great the best indian we have add for a long time the mixed starter for two was very good and then the lamb balti was delish and the nann was the best i have ever tasted anywhere and ive add a lot let me tell you wonderfull night thanks

No running water .. in any of toilets was discussing told staff and wasn't bothered..stay away ..NO HYGIENE

Wanted to say thanks for an excellent meal, we have visited many times before and ordered takeaway from you many more times and the food is always great. Last night it was my birthday and felt you really went the extra mile to make it enjoyable. You helped behind the scenes and even let us eat our own birthday cake for Desert which was great. Didn’t book and just called in. Was greeted like a family friend from start to finish. Good choice on the menu and a helpful waiter made it easy to choose. As for the food well that’s easy. It was bloody lovely and a credit to the chef. It’s a nice place and their not in your face all the time. Clean to as it always is. It’s always a pleasure to eat here and I look forward to the next time. Cheers and I’ll be back

Unusually, we had the set meal for two...!The food arrived in very quick time after ordering, popadoms and pickles first, starters, then the main meal.Service is courteous and friendly.The chairs are comfortable and the lighting quiet and understated. The Indian music is not too intrusive, for those who prefer Mozart.There is a good deal of food served in the set meal for two, one never leaves peckish.The price is very reasonable for good quality food. There is a happy avoidance of the over-use of food colourings, which are found elsewhere in similar establishments.I can recommend this restaurant without reservation.

A good selection of starters etcOnion Bahjs were greasyChicken was lumps of chicken in curry sauce ( always had minced spiced chicken) King prawns weren't shelled.The main course curries were very powdery and the texture was Course, there was heat but not a lot of flavour.The bread was nice.Disappointed really.£35 in total ???

We visited for a special occasion, very early on a Monday evening. We were the first diners of the evening.We had the set meal for two, and very nice it all was. We were regulars at curry houses in Bradford before we moved to Bridlington, so we are used to good curries.Service was extremely polite and friendly.The food was plentiful and very tasty.On this showing, I would recommend The Indian Palace to all wanting a good meal at reasonable prices.

Returned after really enjoying everything but had different staff and the food was at best average at worst terrible. 4 of us ate starters were okay but I had Chicken Pathia which normally has some heat in this case it was way over sweet and no hint of Chilli. My youngest son 14 found hair in his tandoori salmon. The whole expensive experience was laughable will not be returning anytime soon. Out of politeness was going to leave a tip but when paying with a card they already entered the amount did not argue.Not certain it was the food but was in the bathroom at 04:30 being sick.I hope this was a one off because previously has been great

Comfortable enough dining area with friendly service. Extensive menu will all the usual favourites as well as some house specials. Curries themselves were rather mediocre and did not have those unmistakable flavours that a freshly spiced curry has. Nice big freshly cooked nan though. Wine was expensive and there was no "cheap and cheerful" house wine so had to stick to beer (Cobra on draft).

Can never understand why this place never has many people sat inside. We tried it out due to the recent food hygiene rating of 4. The currys were very good, however I think it was the first time I have ever been charged for poppadoms and they weren't cheap! Drinks were reasonably priced however when we asked for another round after the meal he didn't understand so didn't get anymore drinks so left for a drink elsewhere. The curry was faultless though, really tasty and enjoyable. Just a shame it was quiet as the atmosphere lacked. Shouldn't be that quiet for the quality.

Since moving here from Shropshire last May where we had a surfeit of excellent Indian restaurants/takeaways, we have struggled to find anywhere in Bridlington that came close. However when we arrived home from a few days away we found a mailshot from the Indian Palace and decided to give it a try as we had nothing to lose. I phoned our order through, a Chicken Haandi Cook Bhuna for me and a Rajastani Gosht for my husband. The food arrived within 40 minutes and both dishes were absolutely delicious; lovely tender meat in both dishes and plenty of it. We were that impressed I phoned the restaurant back to thank them and to say that we will definitely be ordering from them again.

Excellent food and friendly service. Value for money was unreal. Good price with good portions. I definitely recommend this to you. I never had any better.

Ordered meal for delivery and didn't tot up how much it should come too as didnt think it would be necessary..big mistake..we were over charged by at least £6 when we did look as thought it was high for what we had.We did not order all,the chutneys etc that come with popodoms but were brought them and they were quite pricey, also brought more popodims than we ordered.The food was poor and not tasty at all..not much evidence of spices at all, very bland.So next time we are in Bridlington will not be using Indian palace, bad enough being ripped off, without the food being bland
