I ordered this on Uber eats. They did not even turn up with my food. I wouldn’t even rate it 1/5 as they basically took £19.50 off of me. Will never order from a place that has its own drivers again. Told me I was wasting their time and to contact Uber which I couldn’t at the time.

The restaurant is decorated very nicely. Such lovely friendly people working there who were very attentive to our family. We had a really nice meal portion sizes are fantastic and the food was great. We will be recommending to our friends and will be back again. Thank you for having us

DO NOT EAT HERE. The food was absolutely abysmal. I’ve never in my life had butter chicken like that, it tasted like cornmeal and the texture was like porridge.

Delicious food, great service and perfect price. Nothing was too much trouble. Bring your own alcohol if you need it though we just bought a bottle of Pepsi. Try an egg and cheese naan. Delicious. Will return!

The best Indian takeaway I’ve ever had! Great tasting, early arrival for delivery, fantastic value for money and generous portions! My new go-to takeaway! It was only after reading reviews that I realised this used to be ‘Indian kitchen’ which funnily enough used to be my favourite Indian.. but the new owners have exceeded it!

My wife and I stopped by here after a long day and had some of the best food we'd had in a while. The tandoori chicken was especially delicious. The service was great too and we'd probably make this our regular restaurant if we lived anywhere close to here. We got a set for two, which we couldn't finish. The portions were generous and we ended up having the rest for lunch the next day.

Ordered from here by mistake but glad we did. Not much further than our usual place but we will be changing to Shapla in future. Collected our order and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Once back home we tucked in and the starters were amazing, the bhaji's were crisp but not dry or too spicy and we both thoroughly enjoyed the mains. It's the best Indian I can remember having. Although this time we had take away, the restaurant is modern and very well decorated and dressed so the next meal will be eaten there. Can't recommend highly enough!

Could not recommend This place anymore it was an amazing experience the food was fresh and tasty left me in amazement. The service was impeccable so polite and very quickly served. The place looks beautiful and everything was so clean and tidy. It was very good money as well.

The food is delicious however... This used to be balti delight. When I call their number I now get this place. I was a customer of balti delight for 25 years. Since this place took over I have had nothing but isssues with my orders. Currently I have been waiting 90mins for an order I was told would take 30-40mins. My last 3 other orders went as follows; 1, VERY late like this or 2, there was curry all over everything inside the bag. 3, late and then part of the order was missing. This took more than 90 minutes to replace. I had family over. However the food is delicious... But you have still lost a very long standing customer. My food still isnt here. 4th call made...

Food is exceptional! I order the masala fish and it is the best ive ever had. The curry and rice was cooked to perfection with the succulent chuncks if meat! Yum yum 😋.

I ordered a lamb jalfrezi - container was literally half full and had 7 pieces of chewy lamb. Sauce tasted ok, but the lack of it, awful meat just one of the worst curries I have ever had. My partner ordered a dansak, it tasted nice but again the container was half full. She ordered mushroom rice - it tasted like meat (she's a veggie) and she was then sick. All in all....I'd rather eat a scabby cat than order from here again. Overpriced, pathetic portions and clearly mixing foods which is pretty disgusting. Avoid.

Omg, the best worst meal I’ve ever had from an Indian restaurant/take away. See evidence in the pictures. I ordered the butter chicken - but what I got was a soupy like dish with dry bits of chicken. The soup was off-putting’ly sweet for some odd reason. I could not eat it and had to throw the whole lot out. Judging from the other reviews, the owners of the take-away, who refer to complaints as “haters” goes to show how little they value their customers…I also ordered wings which were the only thing I could eat. Quite disappointed.

We ordered a buy 1 get 1 free at 7.40pm...delivery time shouldve been 8.30pm. Driver phoned and turned out he went to the wrong area, said he would get over to me asap. 9pm came n shop phoned sayin driver got lost n took my order back. Said he would get it back out asap with complimentary items ..order didn arrive until 10.30pm!! No buy 1 get 1 free food was stone cold. And no complimentary items. Avoid at all costs!! They really arent worth bothering with Ps..owner replies with lies!...i should know where i ordered from.got the reciept via the app!.!! Advertising buy 1 get 1 free on a certain app...food went in the bin!

Ordered a karahi chicken and was given a jalfrezi ???? I wouldnt have complained if it was nice and tasty but it was terrible, thrown In chicken pieces with gravy and onions and peppers like the old 80s curry houses feeding the local pissheads from the nearby pub.. sorry but 1 out of 10

I have tried these guys out and after 2 orders the food has been lovely,and not a problem at all after seein negative reviews on here.

Awful. Purchased a nan bread - no law against just ordering a nan bread - and when I told him I would pay via my phone, the rude server gave me a lecture. I told him that I live in the 21st century, that I'd paid before on my phone. I left the shop, saying forget it, and the angry server followed me out and accosted me, swearing. His colleagues then came out the shop. It was intimidating. Don't bother with these. They are low rent who don't expect to have nice customers who pay with cards. The food is gash, anyway. Tasteless and salty. That's why I only eat their nans. Not anymore though. Look at all the other reviews - that should tell you to steer clear...

Waste of your time and money, they don't deliver food on time and will give false information about the status of order. And, they are very rude with customers when we ask for the update. Never ever go for it.

Given one star as I don't have anything less rating than that. I ordered food from resturant and waited almost 2 hours and called them for the update and they are playing with customer and their food delivery partner by giving false information as they already prepared food and ready for delivery, when food is not yet prepared. Also, using unparliamentary language on customer and speaking rudely when we ask for update. Don't get disappointed by choosing this restaurant.

Ordered via uber eats at 19:00 was told the order would arrive between 19:55 to 20:15 first of all the food arrived at 20:45. Called the restaurant to complain about the popadum chips and naan bread as they are soggy and cold unedable as they went in the bin. The curry was like water runny not nice at all. I can only take a positive from the Chicken being cooked. Spoken to the restaurant and the offered to re do the order but I wasn't willing to wait another hour for a delivery as I had already cooked my own condimentss to go with the meal. The person also offered to pass my comments onto the management and from my useful comments of bagging the items separately I.e popadum on the outside of the bag will stop the condensation soaking other items but the person did not seem interested into taking my suggestion and was plain rude. Never again avoid.

I ordered online food which is mixed grilled. Totally uncooked food and they are using too much colour on food (its unhealthy ) . I will not recommend to anyone to eat food here. This is worst Indian Resturant in birmingham sorry in the world. They are using micromave for mix grill because they prepared early

If I could I would give negative stars. No taste... no salt... no chilli both in biriyani rice and prawns. Prawns look like just boiled and mixed in rice separately... it a bad experience 😪. Don't recommend this restaurant 😒.

Not good. You will never get your food on your time. I had a worst experience with this restaurant. I order food and I didn't get food till 2 hours and they talk rudely and cancel the order. Never go with this restaurant.

I've been using Indian kitchen for about 4/5 years, I find it absolutely fantastic meals they cook for us customers who use Indian kitchen, I give it 10/10,🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Loved the food as always, lots of chicken in our curry so ignore the other reviews! Also our meal came 20 minutes early and was delivered by a lovely friendly man 😁

Food arrived over 1.5 hours late, Luke warm, and the restaurant ignored all calls made to them when I was waiting for the food. The chicken and mushroom balti has that much mushroom in it I think I have a fungal infection. Please save your money and do not order here

Didn’t deliver and messed me around -100 points

Firstly, the food was rubbish. I would never ever recommend anyone to visit this restaurant. Secondly, those who think this is Indian restaurant the answers is not. If you are looking for typically Indian food don't visit this restaurant. This is Bangladeshi restaurants use the name Indian Kitchen. Fradualent misrepresentation on the Internet. Please don't make fool to people by stating Indian Kitchen.

Curry was nice, however the curry was the only thing that was hot. The rice was cold, my samosas were cold and so was my naan, so I had to reheat it. And reheated samosas and naan isn't very nice!

The food was really tasty however there were a few hiccups namely missing items from the order and the amount of time for delivery though the flavour of the food made up for it and the missing items were reimbursed however not at the price paid for them on uber eats which again was dissapointing. Given the mistakes I would still probably order from here again as the food was good though is not my local takeaway.

Ordered Stuffed pepper, chicken madras chicken tikka vindaloo sheek kebab chicken tikka starter 2 garlic nan bread well done. Could not fault anything, Nan bread were lovely and crispy, had a lot of hard chicken tikka from various different restaurants in the last few months, but this tikka was lovely and soft. Tasted a lot more flavours in both the madras & vindaloo compared to others. Very impressed.

Ordered through uber eats, said 20 minute delivery. Called after 30 minutes, they couldn't locate order at first then advised it was waiting collection. Order then get updated, to say delivery within 30minutes. Left it 30 minutes, called again to be told 100% it would be there in 5 minutes. 11 minutes later I called again, a rude staff member informed me that it wasn't their problem the driver couldn't find us and he had been knocking our door, very doubtful as we live in a flat. They then proceeded to put the phone down on me and still took payment. DO NOT USE As it will not let me respond to their reply I will leave my comment back here. It wasn't the quality of the food (which by the way never arrived) , it was the constant lying from you and the way you dealt with it. Customer service is paramount which you clearly lack from your comment back to the complaints before mine. I would suggest you learn how to communicate properly and be honest with customers

I ordered food from this place through Deliveroo at 9.50. At 10.55 I tried to call the restaurant but no one answered. I call five times but no answer. Deliveroo call the restaurant few times no answer. Then they said they will investigate why they never delivered after the accepted the order. When I gave them one star for the bad and unacceptable service the owner responded by calling me Idoiot. That shows what sort of business they run.

Really nice good and delivery service

Had ordered Lamb tikka starter, Chicken shashlik starter, Rogan meat curry and Bhuna meat curry. The food was terrible overall. Lamb from the starters was not cooked at all and horrible in taste and the shashlik was very bland. Both the curries seemed tp be made up of just tomato and nothing else, no spice and no taste. Had to literally cook the lamb and remake the curry back home. Really terrible. Our Saturday dinner night was spoilt Would definitely not order again or recommend anyone.

Waited an hour and twenty minutes. When it arrived the curry was cold and watery. The chips had been reheated and were do soggy they fell out of the bag .The whole meal was extremely disappointing. Never again India kitchen !!

Decent mains, terrible side daal, chapati was not done, tandoori chicken was cold, roti was too tough, ashamed to say the complimentary papadoms with onion and mint sauce was my most enjoyable food from this. Waste of money

This take away used to be really good and fantastic value for money and MORE IMPORTANTLY really good food. I’ve just ordered our usual menu after lockdown and am bitterly disappointed. The nann breads look like shop bought ie they are perfectly round. It seems to me that they’re shop bought with various flavourings “added” to make it seem authentic. I called the take away and complained and asked the question “are you under new ownership”, the answer was yes, two months ago. Mystery solved, nowhere near the “old” Indian Kitchen standard. Never again plus the discounts are no longer applicable.

I only order from Indian Kitchen ..always arrives on time or earlier..good tasty food. I will not order from anywhere else.

Ordered on just eat because the reviews were good. We had tikka masala, korma and jalfrezi. The latter two dishes were spot on but the tikka masala wasn’t very flavourful - just very tomatoey. I’d definitely order again though as the two dishes were very enjoyable. The naans were great too. Got 20% off for a first time order. Bonus!

Been using for 3 years, always very good. Lovely lamb saagwala, chicken bhuna and chicken dansak, just a shame they have stopped putting pineapple in the dansak .... highly recommend.

Ordered food at 18.30, just eat said it would arrive at 19.15 but then the restaurant added 30 minutes taking the delivery time up to 19.45. At 20.00 our food still had not arrived. We understand that the weather has affected delivery time however 2 and a half hours is surely unexpectable. We called the restaurant at 20.00 and was told the food would be with us in 30 minutes. At 20.45 still no sign of food. We called the restaurant however they were answering the phone and hanging up, this happened around 10 times, we eventually got through to them at 21.00 hours as the door knocked. So 2 and half hours after ordering, the food finally arrived. We were sent a complimentary can of coke. The food was stone cold. The chips were dry and the poppadoms were soggy, the naan bread was saturated from being in a plastic bag. We haven't ordered from here before and won't be ordering again. The only positive from it is that the delivery driver was kind and apologised about the lateness of the food. He also stated the the restaurant were still taking orders even though they were really far behind and that he had advised them to stop orders through just eat. (Which they told us they had done). However they carried on taking orders which means others will be getting cold, soggy food turning up hours later. My partner has diabetes and is also disabled, she shouldn't have had to snack whilst waiting for the food because it was so late and her sugar levels were dropping. The service was awful and the guy that we spoke to was rude and hang up the phone on two occasions before we had finished talking.

This curry was excellent delivered very fast and was so hot on arrival food was wonderful and great value for money will be using again😃

1st time ive used this place its 50% off if you collect on curries only .. the king prawn balti had 7 prawns in it and tasted fine but the lamb balti was too salty. The keema rice was nice and the garlic nann was cooked to my liking but could of done with more garlic.. overall it was satisfactory for the £11.85 i paid for the 2 baltis , rice and nann which fed 3 of us just right .. I cant say i will be using this place again as there are so many takeaways around that you can use a different one each time..
