Great fresh food, excellent service. I love unique and different styles of Indian rather than your usual norm. We tried the sharing platter starter and I have the lamb madras thali. Very good.

Service was great and friendly, but the curry was very oily and had a strong taste of aniseed. Not for me.

We came across this place while walking around the old wool market. We weren’t going to eat there but at the last minute decided to, so glad we changed our minds. We ordered a chicken Thali which is a mixture of two curries pilau rice, onion bhaji, on a bed of salad along with a portion of mini poppadoms, everything was incredibly tasty, to my surprise, the lentil curry tasted delicious. Since going, we have recommended this to family and friends, and will definitely be paying another visit! Just a shame that this little street Indian cafe it’s only open on market days 😟

This place is located in Wool Market and vibes is good. They have a small menu. We ordered couple of Thalis and food was tasty. It takes time for food to be ready, as they prepare fresh curry's.

Had a meal there today and although not entirely great curry was tasty, rice was good but nan was pre made and bland. How ever the trouble started when I went up for another drink and ask for a pint and a half of larger. 1 half good but the pint had a massive head on it. I ask the girl politely could she top it up and the reply was flat no!! I thought she was joking and I replied of course you can. To which she replied no. I mentioned I would not be back ever and it did not seem to register at all. I have asked this in a number of establishments and always been accommodated. The pint was short and I did pay for it. It's a shame because I like your food, but will not be short changed.

Wow what a meal. Went for a Friday Brunch and had a Prawn Naan roll, masala chips and a cobra 0.0. My wife had the seekh kebab roll with masala chips and a couple of pints of carlsberg. Stunning food. Mine was stuffed with massive, juicy king prawns. Obviously cooked fresh as the prawn was almost like lobster meat it was so juicy. The sauce was cooling and a little spicy and really brought it together with some fresh salad. My absolute highlight though were the skin on chips!! I think they were air fried as they were so crisp and dry and had that skin on flavour of a good baked potato combined with the perfect chip. The masala spice on them gave the ideal amount of warmth on the lips and tongue and made them a sensation. Great food, friendly service and the Wool market is now a proper foodie spot.

Since we moved to Doncaster in 2014 we haven’t found a great Indian takeaway or restaurant. We’ve found good and alright but never amazing. That stops now! Obviously being in tier 3 lockdown this was a takeaway, collection to be precise, just go to the wool market entrance opposite the car park and get someone to scream “Dennis(?)” from the back 🤣😂 We ordered 2 lamb Thali, something we’ve not had since being in India, and they were gorgeous. Absolutely delicious, so much so I had to save the bread for the end to get every single little bit from the tray. A lovely selection of Dhal, rice, chapati and curry with little poppadoms on the side. Can’t wait for tier 3 to be over so we can visit again and this time sit in with a beer.

We chose two Thali dishes. Chicken Tikka and Chicken Madras. Great selection in both and the Onion Bhaji were particularly nice. Great value for money and good service. Lovely tasty food, would highly recommended.

Turned up to the wool market on tuesday evening and headed straight for the food hawker, ordered drinks and food. we all went for the thali which comes with mini popperdoms but we also ordered some extra popperdoms with the chuckney tray. sat at one of the benches and they buzz you when food was ready which didn't take long. Everyone finished the trays of food and we all enjoyed our meals which were very nice with great flavours. Staff member very friendly. people were cleaning and kept the whole place tidy. The trays ,cutlery and drinks cups are disposable .

Eat in the wool market with kids regularly . Kids normally have pizzas but me and the wife try the other food places and Indian Food Hawker is probably the best. Most recently we had the thali which is like a buffet on a tray . i had the chicken madras and the wife had the korma . the chicken is amazing ,perfectly cooked and juicy and the sauces are lovely. On your tray you also get pilau rice ,a dhal with chickpeas, poppadoms, onion bhaji(amazing),salad and chapati. All cooked fresh and served piping hot for around £8 . Oh and the meat samosaS for £1.50 are also delicious. Only downside, as with all places in the wool market are the alcoholic drinks are a bit expensive. I resent paying over £4.00 for a pint in a plastic cup,but like i say every food place in there charge around the same

Was excited to try as we’d heard good things about it. What a let down, really poor quality Indian food with very little taste. Part of the order missing which was blamed on the waitress even though we told the manager/chef that she’d taken the Irene down correctly so wasn’t her fault and then an extra £30 stuck on the bill for drinks that were not ours. Won’t be going back.

I live alone & have throat cancer so not only do I have to pay £3 delivery charges inwhich I'm only 1.5 miles away but have to spend other £15 as well, think this is extreme racism as they should be no fixed limit
