Wish I could give No stars wasn’t delivered at all and can’t get through on phone just goes to answerphone I do not recommend this place at all. Waiting for refund from justeat!

I ordered food and it never arrived tried to call and have no answer very disappointed AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!!

the food taste and quality is really too bad, chicken has been not cooked and fried proper it is uncooked and also I order naan with coriander and garlic it came only with garlic .

Despite the Just Eat app telling me that the order had been confirmed, dispatched and delivered...the food never turned up and the restaurant turned off their phone when I was trying to find out where my order was. Having since read a multitude of bad reviews it would appear that 'Indian Express' make a habit of taking money for orders and just not delivering. It's about time JUST EAT struck them off their list.

We placed an order for delivery via the 'Just Eat' app but despite the app telling me that the order had been confirmed, dispatched and delivered, the food never turned up. Very conveniently the restaurants telephone line mysteriously became unavailable when trying to find out what has happened to my order. I now have to wait to see if I get a refund . Having since read numerous bad reviews,it would appear 'Indian Express' has a history of taking payment for delivery orders but not delivering.....AVOID!

Order from here quite a lot, curries are very nice and reasonably priced.

Estimated delivery time too long, but delivery came 30 minutes before EDT. Delivered before the app said the courier had picked it up. So the update on its progress was no help. Food was ok.

As aways, delicious food. My mom said she really liked the king lamb curry - she never compliments any of the curry I make, so this should be a testament to how amazing the food is. Deffo would order again!

First takeaway I got from here was fabulous..This time it’s completely the opposite..it was vile.Hot meat was tasteless and had a horrid aftertaste.couple of mouthfuls and it went straight in the bin..Chapattis where half the size and greasy.pakoras where very nice though..Delivery driver was extremely polite and professional..But I’m never ordering from here again

I really enjoyed my meal..pakoras where hot and crispy.Hot meal was very tasty loads of meat.chapattis were nice and soft.polite and professional delivery driver..very reasonably priced.I will definitely be ordering again..By far the best Indian takeaway I’ve had in along time.Thank you very much

Horrible experience. I have ordered food from Deliveroo, waited over 2 hours and nothing came! Then they marked my food as delivered. Tried to call them more than 10 times no response. Even the deliveroo helpline they were unable to get a response from the restaurant even after 24 hours! Reading through other similar experiences, I think this restaurant is just scamming people.

This is a scam, they are fooling the customers by misusing the delivery app policy loop hools, they list their restaurant everywhere and never deliver the food, mark the order as delivered right before the deadline time, and take us through a painful delivery app based refund procedure which end up as a waste of timeNever ever order from here.

Food didn’t even come after waiting for two hours but said on the app that it was delivered. Still got charged for it. When phoning the restaurant they didn’t pick up and sent it to voicemail.

Food took 2 hours 30 to arrive , delivery driver called My phone and I had to go out to his car to collect it , food was then stone cold and consisted on 3 pieces of chicken in the curry ....absolutely shocking and went straight in to the bin

The food was shocking, it was freezing cold plus we was missing a chicken tikka, the chips were soggy and cold.

DONT EAT HERE. I didn't know something could be so bland. I literally closed my eyes and muted the TV so I could focus in my senses to try and find the flavour.. but nothing. you'd get more taste from a tin of tomatoes. dripping in grease and the naan was soggy from cheap sickly sweet syrup. Giving a curry at least SOME flavour isn't difficult, this is embarrassing.

Food is usually top notch, hot and delivered with care :-( driver marked food as delivered 15 mins before arriving, then only delivered part of the order. they were really rude, dismissive and didn’t give any change (order was paid in cash), and i had to call literally 15 times to get through to someone to complain about the missing driver initially, and then 4 more times to arrange them coming back to deliver the missing items. sad bc usually service and food is amazing, but i don’t think i’ll be ordering again

Beautiful meal well priced and Delivered on time...probably a minute early! But nice to have a meal that was plentiful and hot! Will more than likely order again as it has left the other local restaurants in their shadow! 5 stars!!

Tried to ring the restaurant 4x no answer. Food was spilled all over the bag. Leaked every where. Took photos as proof once we sorted the messy content out food was cold.

The food was delicious, the curry was spicy but not overpowering and very tasty. Everything was just right and will happily be ordering from here again.

Over an hour and a half for a single chicken tikka masala, rice and naan bread. I only live 5 mins from the restaurant so this is bad. Also they marked it as delivered before it was delivered and don’t bother trying to call them - they don’t answer. Really unimpressed - this place used to be great! Last few times it’s been a complete joke!!!

Food was an hour late, didn’t even knock on just left food at the door. When I rang up to see where they was, all I got was rudeness.

Very unreliable! Will NOT be using them again! My order never came. After waiting over an hour for it to be delivered, I got in contact to see how much longer it would take, I was told another half hour. After another hour had passed I called several times and had no response. This is so unacceptable and disappointing. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Yeah, I ordered with friends, but that usually means tikka masala and vegetarianism, and that was pretty good, the paneer pakoras were fine. Then I came back a few days later and got a Bangalore and some chicken pakora and a keema paratha and FML that was da bomb, I'm gonna Google a recipe for a Bangalore, that was a BANGING curry. Truly beastly. Also, the delivery guy has a quality beard.

Ordered through Just Eat and after 2 hours of no updates, they marked my order as delivered even though I hadn't received it. I tried calling the restaurant over 10 times, and nobody answered. I still haven't received my food. I checked the phone number I provided them and it's correct, so they have no excuse. We have used this restaurant now for about 2 years, the food has usually been good, one or two issues with the state food has been delivered in and no way of contacting anyone but apart from that the food has been good. Last night we ordered chicken tikka started and chicken tikka balti. As soon as we took the lid off the starter you could smell the chicken was off. The smell was stomach turning. The chicken was dry and dark brown inside. The whole order went in the bin as we had chicken tikka in the balti too. Couldn’t contact the company as per usual. Won’t use again now. 🤮🤮🤮🤮

Food is not good, naan became so hard not able to chew and moreover I waited almost 1 hour for food. My first day in Nottingham is started with not good food...I am not happy with this.

Really disappointing. Veg samosas were tiny like buffet bites. One onion bajii was okay but the other one was dry and chewy. I fancied something spicy so ordered vindaloo but it was a generic sauce with less chilli heat than I would expect with a bhuna, could taste coriander but next to no heat. Garlic and coriander naan was big and fresh but there were just loads of massive chunks of garlic that fell off when tearing the bread or trying to eat it. Won't order from here again. Edible but that's it. Delivered early compared to the confirmed time but on time compared with the time advertised when I selected the takeaway

Garlic naan didn’t taste much of garlic but the curry was very nice and very good value

Food was very average, not great and not a lot of taste to it. When it arrived it wasn’t very hot. I ordered wings and received chicken strips instead. Overall wouldn’t order from here again.

Ordered the meal deal for 2 off deliveroo which included pompadoms, 2 lots of rice, a naan, chicken Tikka massala and a lamb balti. Food was finally delivered 55 minutes after out estimated arrival time (so a total of 2 hours from ordering). Overall the food was nice. The chicken Tikka massala was the best dish and tasted lovely. I really liked the lamb balti sauce but the lamb itself could have been more tender as it was a bit chewy.

Absolutely disaster. Please do not order from this place.

I said I wouldn't order from here again but gave it another chance because the food is pretty decent. I could walk to the place in 2 minutes but they do delivery only (run from the back of another business). Same story, nice food but arrived 2 hours late even though I placed the order 2 hours in advance. They should also be expecting a visit from HMRC.

The lamb korma was awful, only 4 tiny pieces of lamb and the korma sauce wasn't very nice I have korma all the time and the was the worst one I have ever had, it had a really strange after taste. My Husband had a bhuna and that was pretty bad too. The only thing that saved the meal was the Peshwari which was nice, hence the 2 stars rather than 1.

When it finally arrived, was disappointed to find that the food was the definition of average - watery and bland curry, tasteless sides, and lukewarm. Strongly recommend avoiding, there are far better curries to be had on here

Food arrived 10 mins early with 5 things missing off the order the food that did come was that cold and full of grease it couldn't even be ate. I appreciate it was probably the last order of the night since I've not been able to contact the restaurant but absolutely shocking service and food none of it was edible. Do not waste your money!

Half meal missing, restaurant rude when called, staff said they would call me back but no call. Daughters chicken was STONE COLD in middle of chicken. Disgusting meal and serve will never use again and would like my money refunded

Chicken felt not fresh at all, it had blueish colour on it and was t well cooked. From the time i recieved the text message with order being on its way, it took over 1 h.
