Went there for a dinner with friend after a long break. This place never disappoints me! Service is always very friendly and helpful, and the food is so delicious. It’s definitely my favourite Indian restaurant and I recommend this place to everyone. Was as good as remember. It was a lovely experience

Bridgwater isn’t a place I know well, but I found myself here on business and fancying a curry, I do the usual and look up ‘best Indian food’ in … This venue won the high spot so off I trot. Upon entering the venue is much as you’d expect, pleasant, if not a little dark.. I’ll just jump straight to the food.. Wow! There aren’t many towns I haven’t curried in.. but the food here is superb! Proper Indian restaurant phenomenally tasty curry, I had butter chicken and I did not want it to end, in fact had I not have been absolutely stuffed.. I’d have ordered another.. one of the best, if not the best curry I’ve tasted.. If I find myself in Bridgewater again, I won’t hesitate!

Best Indian meal in such a long time . Delicious and faultless service. Every small detail perfect and even an apology that the chef inadvertently cooked two chappatti instead of one. Good price as well. Thoroughly recommend .

Had an absolutely delicious meal at the India Gate. A very varied and different menu to many other Indian restaurants in our area. I thought it was very good value too. Really friendly service and a comfortable atmosphere. My friend and i had a brilliant evening. Would definitely recommend and will be going back.....soon hopefully!

Easily the best Indian restaurant in Bridgwater. Had masala poppadom, masala dosa and malabar lamb curry. Beautiful.

We travel nearly an hour each time we want the best indian for miles!!! Never dissapoints. Only indian we know that serves Dosa , a indian pancake type bread !!!! Tikka massala best ever .

Favourite and only place we go for Indian. The service is always good, food always well presented, hot and extremely tasty. Menu is extensive and they go out of their way to cater for your needs. A very varied drinks menu also.

Tried out this restaurant with another couple who had visited before, to be honest I was a little apprehensive as my daughter and partner had visited and were not overly impressed, I learnt one valuable lesson, make up your own mind and do not be swayed by other people’s tastes and opinions. Quality of food, portion size and the service was second to none, the biggest assurance was that at least three other families of the same ethnicity as the owners were also eating in the restaurant, this alone is a testament to the quality of food and service on offer. Can’t wait to try a takeaway to see if the high quality of food can be maintained.

Really fresh tasting food. The menu has lots of classic Indian dishes but with Keralan cuisine as an added extra. Spicy poppadoms were great, with fresh spices. Extra special. Super friendly service. Highly recommended.

Second visit in a couple of months. It’s a brilliant little restaurant. We live in Brum and know good curries which tend to be Bangladeshi, Pakistani and North Indian. This is a different story. Wonderful southern Indian/Keralan dishes, beautiful dosas, and lovely service from friendly and attentive guys who are proud of what they do.

Great meal, all four of us loved our dishes, they were all very flavoursome and good size portions. Service was very friendly and efficient. Loved it and will definitely be back.

Excellent meal, really good staff, fair costs. One of the best Indian meals I have had for a long time, we all had different meals and they were all individual and very good.

Really great food, staff couldn't be more helpful. I come with a large group and all of needs were catered for and more. There was complimentary dessert for my colleague on his birthday aswell which was a very nice touch

Went with 9 mates after the restaurant was recommended to us. We ordered drinks and soon after ordered our food. We waited an hour for the dishes to arrive. When it finally came everyone commented on how bland and tasteless the food was, I ordered a lamb vindaloo which tasted like a mild balti, I send the dish back. They returned with a dish that wasn’t much better. They charge top prices in this place and you end up with substandard food, avoid this place like the plague.

Authentic taste really loved it.I recommend everyone who really loves south indian taste and authenticity

The food and the atmosphere stood out for me when i went to this restaurant for the first time this evening around 7pm. The restaurant was relatively full with mixed groups of customers; couples, families with young children, groups of friends. It was lively but not noisy and the tables were well spaced. The staff were all friendly and attentive. The menu had a good mix of traditional Indian restaurant dishes together with a good choice of regional dishes from Southern India. I had one of the special parotta meals which was fantastic. So all on all, a very tasty and good quality meal. I felt it was good value for money for the quality of the food. The ambience suited me well. I and my family are looking forward to going back based on our experience this evening.

This restaurant has only recently opened as is a great addition to the town. Clean, airy with attentive and friendly staff, a varied menu with good vegetarian options and good prices. Good atmosphere and a feeling of spaciousness.

A clean and comfortable restaurant close to the town centre. Very friendly staff and good, vegetarian options on the menu. Highly recommend it. The food is Southern Indian so is an interesting variation on many Indian restaurants.

Will get to the point Dishes were sent back starters and mains Chef really does not know about flavours or presentation We came from Birmingham and Weston-super-Mare and was still charge £100 Shocking Floor staff ignore you, I think 9ne may be a manager or owner, but no idea about hospitality, and the others don't understand what is being said to them McDonald's have got better service and standards
