Great Pub very fresh and classic been coming here since my grandfather showed it to me. Martina was excellent and reminded me of service like back home in Wales. Will go the extra mile for Customers. Diolch

Straws were too small, bad service (bartender was roo fixated with id instead of drink preference; we ordered a JD and coke, but he did not ask what type of coke we wanted), and portions were stingy. Only redeeming factors were its quietness and dimly lit ambience.

Great pleace. Good beer. The barmaid is better than the above opinions.

Reasonably priced food for Central London , friendly staff , excellent food . Always go there at least once when in London , for breakfast , lunch or dinner . From sunday roasts to cheese toasties you cant fault it

We only had drinks here, with a good selection of draught beers. A good place to rest weary feet, and some of the bench seats have electric sockets too, which is good for charging your phone!

Il s'agit d'un super endroit pour faire une pause repas près de Leicester square. Ce lieu dénote assez des autres restaurants près de Piccadilly Circus, vu que l'ambiance y est plus calme à la mi-journée. On a pu se poser tranquillement pour déguster quelques wings et une pinte de cidre brut. Le personnel était sympathique et le lieu avait une ambiance très chaleureuse qui fait que nous avons passé un excellent moment. À voir ce que ça aurait pu donner pour un repas complet ou un dîner. En tout cas je recommande à quiconque passant dans le coin d'essayer car c'était très sympathique à un prix correct.

Definitely worth a visit, live sports on TVs, and lovely staff!

it was something out of this world! my friends and I came to this pub on April 1, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. we were served by a tall, strong, bald, black bartender. he served us with sympathy, the order was served very quickly. After leaving the bar, we missed you after a minute. WE MISS YOU. - we are very satisfied. we ordered mac & cheese + ciabatta garlic. Chicken and Korean BBQ sauce. fisher & chips (one of the best we've ever eaten). a girl dressed in white with curly hair, a blonde wearing a denim jacket and a brunette with a short haircut in a colorful skirt send warm greetings.

Thank you for the great night I had the other day. British beige food, cozy décor, decent selection of pale ales and the helpful Martina behind the bar made it a nice experience. Will be back

Lively traditional pub, just off Leicester square. Welcoming staff, good ale (Abbot ale - I can drink Taylor's Landlord at home) always found a table. Outside tables, but it's March..

10/10 the best place I have eaten in all of London, the phenomenal atmosphere where you can talk but there are not people shouting or the music being too loud, the wonderful waiters even called the kitchen to ask if they could make a change to the dish I ordered and they let us take photos behind the bar, the quality-price is fantastic, it was the most flavorful food I have eaten on the entire trip, and you can also enter with minors until 9 at night. I will return.

Dos de nosotros vinimos a The Imperial al final de la tarde un lunes antes de ver un espectáculo nocturno en el West End. El lugar era tranquilo, con un montón de mesas para elegir El barman era amable y educado, las bebidas se servían rápidamente y tenían un precio promedio para los pubs del centro de Londres. Viendo los menús de comida vimos que había una gran elección a precios muy razonables y habríamos comido allí si no hubiéramos reservado ya una mesa en otro lugar. El lugar comenzó a llenarse mientras estábamos allí con grupos de personas que obviamente habían terminado de trabajar, pero a pesar del aumento en el número, el barman solitario se las arregló bien y fue profesional en todo momento. Este pub tenía un ambiente que te hace querer volver. Ocupado, pero todavía podía charlar y ser escuchado, sin música sonora y personal amable. Ten cuidado con las escaleras que bajan a los baños del sótano. Es un edificio antiguo y son muy empinados.

It was here that I entered a pub for the first time while sightseeing in London. I ordered the long-awaited fish and chips. The batter is crispy and not greasy. The cod is fluffy. The taste was very delicious and you could customize it to your liking. The atmosphere inside the store was calm and comfortable.

While on a trip to London I dropped in at this pub for a drink and a snack. I highly recommend it. The food and drinks were good. The service was very nice (greetings to the nice Mrs. Martyna).

This was the imperial just round from the m&m shop. Can I just say, one of the worst experiences I’ve witnessed in such a small amount of time. My friend and I ordered food, she ordered the cod goujon sandwich, I ordered the Camembert dumplings and a halloumi sandwich. The goujons turned up as just ‘goujons’, no fish to be seen what so ever. No real apology given, just left her to it. The Camembert dumplings were just deep fried bread rolls, barely any cheese at all. The halloumi sandwich came as a wrap, with mustard on it! No chili jam. I took it back to the bar and to be fair they gave me a refund straight away. However, the two lads behind the bar then proceeded to eat the wrap from by the glass wash area which could be seen from our table! They must have heard us talking as came over about 10 mins after the fact and offered me a free drink to compensate which I declined. Never have I ever witnessed so much incompetence in one transaction. Needless to say we finished our drinks and went to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe !!! Seriously need to sort your staff out!

Fab. Was busy and first rate…. A really cosy English pub with really good food and (katsu burger alone will bring me back).

The door staff and bar staff were very welcoming. My wife and I had fish and chips and a pint. Atmosphere was very good. Fully enjoyed our hour there.

Staff are great with our Son who has Autism. They remembered he likes trains, even though our visits were months apart . Little touches like that really make a difference. Good selection of beers and food . Only criticism of food is ,a few more chips in a portion would be nice . Apart from that the food itself looked and tasted fantastic . The pub is nice and clean. Seems very well managed for a busy little pub . Will 100% book again

Pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere of this London pub, in addition to the Christmas vibe. Exquisite cocktails and pretty good food. The fish & chips were crispy and the wings were juicy. We liked it so much that we repeated the next day 😋

Honestamente el mejor pescado con papas fritas en bastante tiempo. En bastante tiempo. Empezó con pollo pegajoso, fue muy bueno. Y por supuesto un borrador Guinness. Personal muy amable, solo un tiempo muy agradable. Y realmente uno de los mejores fish and chips de la ciudad.

You don't have to do it for a Sunday roast. But the location is beautiful and the pub is authentic and atmospheric.

We stopped for a couple of beers and had a great time, the shopping is average, we also got some fried food as an accompaniment at normal prices, the 3 guys behind the counter were very nice and easy going

Everything was great except the Nachos which were terrible. For the money, not a good deal, one thin layer of Doritos, hardly no dips,would never order that again, should have complained, but we had a wonderful time, spent a lot of money. I do like the pub

I spent a lot of time here during Frightfest weekend and it was a blast. Despite how busy it can get it's generally easy to get served by the attentive staff. Food is also tasty and well priced (for central London). A little gem tucked around the corner of the Odeons in Leicester Square.

Oasis of calm in busy London tourist area. Food first class and staff clean happy and professional. We were made very welcome and just enjoyed the ambience, the service and the food with excellent service. Cheers Alfie we will call again.

I’ve been into this pub once or twice now and must say it is lovely. The bar staff are amazing especially Alfie who pays great attention to detail and his costumers. Would recommend highly!

Had a lovely time here last week, a great pub for a bite to eat. We were visiting the theatre later on in the evening but couldn’t resist a bit of lunch. Food was good, came quickly and service was very friendly. Love the fact that it was a “proper” traditional pub- not many of those around in London these days, definitely worth a visit!

Great pub, love the atmosphere 👌. Couldn't fault the staff at all. One of our group had allergies, so the manager Alfie was really helpful and explained all the options available. There was 3 of us eating, the food was great and prompt service. Would definitely return.

Good atmosphere and looks, I'll give you that... But ordered cider was a joke (a sparkling lemonade) and both female toilettes were clugged. I don't think anybody checked on it for a while.

Great surprise!!!! We were looking for a place to have a typical dish like "pies" and we chanced upon this pub. The staff is charming, attentive to our needs and advising us. The food was delicious, the best fish and chips I have ever eaten and the Pie was delicious. If you want to leave with a good feeling, go eat there.
