Extremely pricey for even that part of London

Went in for a quick drink and something to eat. Was served by a lovely server named Alfie. Was a great calm atmosphere and good quality food. Will be back again.

We go here when we go to London, because it is well priced, and the food is always good, and the staff are always friendly

We had a nice dinner when we got there before we found our apartment

Honestly the best fish and chips in quite a while. In quite a while really. Started with sticky chicken, was really good. And of course a Guinness draft. Very friendly staff, just a very nice time. And truly one of the best fish and chips in town.

You don't have to do it for a Sunday roast. But the location is beautiful and the pub is authentic and atmospheric.

Staff are very friendly and the atmosphere inside the pub is nice and calm. Good place to go if you are in the area and looking for some good food and drinks.

We stopped for a couple of beers and had a great time, the shopping is average, we also got some fried food as an accompaniment at normal prices, the 3 guys behind the counter were very nice and easy going

Everything was great except the Nachos which were terrible. For the money, not a good deal, one thin layer of Doritos, hardly no dips,would never order that again, should have complained, but we had a wonderful time, spent a lot of money. I do like the pub

I spent a lot of time here during Frightfest weekend and it was a blast. Despite how busy it can get it's generally easy to get served by the attentive staff. Food is also tasty and well priced (for central London). A little gem tucked around the corner of the Odeons in Leicester Square.

Oasis of calm in busy London tourist area. Food first class and staff clean happy and professional. We were made very welcome and just enjoyed the ambience, the service and the food with excellent service. Cheers Alfie we will call again.

I’ve been into this pub once or twice now and must say it is lovely. The bar staff are amazing especially Alfie who pays great attention to detail and his costumers. Would recommend highly!

Had a lovely time here last week, a great pub for a bite to eat. We were visiting the theatre later on in the evening but couldn’t resist a bit of lunch. Food was good, came quickly and service was very friendly. Love the fact that it was a “proper” traditional pub- not many of those around in London these days, definitely worth a visit!

Good atmosphere and looks, I'll give you that... But ordered cider was a joke (a sparkling lemonade) and both female toilettes were clugged. I don't think anybody checked on it for a while.

Great surprise!!!! We were looking for a place to have a typical dish like "pies" and we chanced upon this pub. The staff is charming, attentive to our needs and advising us. The food was delicious, the best fish and chips I have ever eaten and the Pie was delicious. If you want to leave with a good feeling, go eat there.

We walked into this pub to rest a bit, and it was lovely. The staff is friendly and dealt very good with our poor English speaking skills. Husband enjoyed a Guiness, I had an Aperol Spritz, and together we shared a plate of delicious nachos. The atmosphere is relaxed, kids are also welcomed. Such a lovely, hidden treasure in the middle of London. Highly recommended to take a relaxing break there, super tourist friendly and still very british. (For the ladies: There's quite a handsome barkeeper 🤫🫢)

Very rude staff. Despite the reservation they didn't let us eat and made us wait in vain without telling us anything. We had to find something else. Avoid, there are definitely more hospitable and better places

Traditional London pub. It is an old place and at the same time interesting in its decoration. The service is very good. The waiters are very nice and friendly. You find typical food. Be sure to try the “fish and chips”, it is a delight!! Prices consistent with quality. Highly recommended.

The location is very pleasant, close to Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Big Bang... among other tourist attractions. I tried a delicious IPA beer that I only saw here. The manager is super friendly and made us feel comfortable. Alfie, thanks a lot. 🙏👏👏👏👏

A great spot, within easy reach of theatres but not so pricey as it's position would suggest. A good range of drinks and food. Bookable tables. Busy but not packed when we visited early on a Friday evening.

Martyna, was very helpful when we came in and there was a good atmosphere in the pub. It was easy to find and the staff were kind.

I was asked to place a bad review for Martyna to compensate for the good reviews. Hence, I will only give 5 stars even though this nice pub would deserve much more. Next time in London I will be visiting this nice location again. Drinks and especially the meals are great. Also there is a good mix between pub like and full meal choices as well as very different dishes! See you soon

Very improvable service. Very surly waiter stealing antipathy. You have to order and pay at the bar. He brought us our drinks and left the tray on the table. There were five of us and the cutlery set us up for three. Food is not bad. Neither atmosphere. Place with great possibilities if it were run as two orders.

Thoroughly enjoyed a mid afternoon (okay... perhaps late morning) beverage at The Imperial. Owen our waiter was very attentive and polite. Will visit again soon & highly recommend. Heard he is in a great band too so will be keeping up with their music and socials @mosaicsband.

Lovely gem of a pub literally a few steps off Leicester Square - able to sit and watch the huddle and bustle - whilst sitting enjoying a drink and delicious food (light bites, mains and puddings 😋) in the outside seating area. Inside is very smart with a traditional bar - good range of pump ales. Staff were really friendly and attentive, both Martyna and Owen took the time to welcome and chat with us - as managers they are definitely leading by example. Thanks guys - we’ll be back.

Asked for no onion rings and they gave me onion rings, my friend asked for onion rings and they were the smallest I'd ever seen. He was displeased with the size of his onion rings.

The pub looked absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Everyone was really nice including the doorman, a couple who worked for the company and were off shift enjoying a drink, and a gentleman called Owen who was extremely friendly, professional and looked like he really enjoyed what he was doing.

Very friendly, we went as a family, good food and good beer. To repeat without a doubt. And you have everything nearby to continue with the scheduled visits.

Attention. Big scam. I ordered a double gin and the liquid matched but from the taste I realized it was diluted with water and tasteless. Tourist trap with a facade that tempts you but is a huge disappointment. Go somewhere else!!!

Very delicious fish and chips. In addition to many other eating options. We were several families and they were very friendly and let us settle in by changing the arrangement of the tables. If I return to London I will try to repeat.
