Pre gig dinner and drinks, great little bar on the sea front.

Had a great time here, service is friendly, atmosphere was fantastic and can imagine when its sunny it would be a lovely place to chill out.

Pre-gig drinks & food, well staffed, cleaned the table as soon as they saw us waiting to be seated and equally as efficiently once we'd eaten the delicious food they served us.

Great spot by the sea and the food was really nice! It exceeded expectations. The staff were lovely as their were friendly, chatty but not too overbearing. Also can’t beat the location by the beach.

Great food and friendly staff. We all had the Marinated Chicken and Halloumi wraps and they were delicious. We'll definitely eat here again and try more of the menu.

Down for the Big 7 Scooter Rally, this became our local, great DJ's, quick service, bar staff remembered the drinks orders, so 'same again' when we went to the bar. Superb location for people watching and seeing the sun go down.

I don't often leave reviews but the Imperial Bar was incredible. Came across the Imperial Bar on a walk down Margate, without a doubt, a must-visit place if you are ever looking for food and/or drinks. The atmosphere is amazing, with very friendly staff who take great pride in their workplace, aiming to deliver the best customer service possible. Even when the Imperial Bar got busier the staff still carried themselves professionally, smiling and always spoke respectfully. Places like this are a rarity nowadays. Certainly going to be returning to the Imperial Bar as a regular. 10/10.

Imperial is a brilliant gem along the Margate seafront, the food served is incredible, the staff are welcoming, friendly and kind people. Imperial is second to none during the summer, with a prime spot of the sunset amongst the Margate sands and outdoor seating. 5* isn’t enough.

I’ve worked with the amazing team at this amazing restaurant, who have helped deliver multiple private events - including QEQM doctor’s mess parties, and also more formal out of work group dinners. Such a fun vibe with gorgeous views of the beach, amazing food (especially buffet selection for private events) and the team go above and beyond to cater to all of our needs and wants. Would highly recommend !! X

Delightful flavors, warm ambiance, and exceptional service! My friends and I came across here, just at the seaside and very easy to find, we ordered the most recommended dishes and they all beyond our expectations! As for me I like the fried chicken wings and chicken and chips best!! Looking forward to returning soon!

Had a gorgeous evening with my sister here. Staff all lovely and couldn't do enough to cater for us. Food was absolutely lush, hot and fresh. Plenty of it too. Great, welcoming atmosphere with a live singer. Definitely be returning.

We went to annual Soul Music Weekend here & the floors were so sticky we couldn't walk, ripped & broke my friends flip flops, 3/4 of us had to take our sandals 🩴 off & go barefoot & there could've been glass, I felt sharp bits in my feet, our feet were black & filthy & had to wash them in puddles outside ! I'm not saying this would always be the case here, of course not, it was jam packed with people spilling drinks throughout an especially busy weekend of human traffic, they said they mop the floor every morning, we said that's not enough on this occasion, we reported it 4 / 5 times & they said they'd come & mop which I could see was possible as there was space & people would move out of the way & be glad to get rid of the sugary floor which was like glue ! But despite all their promises, none of the staff came to mop despite promising to our repeated requests & the fact that they had ample staff on board & I could see they weren't all constantly serving people although I know there's always jobs to do, this being one which was disregarded, they did nothing, we couldn't dance or move, indescribably sticky ! Never known anything like it ! Ok if wearing trainers or shoes with different souls !

What a friendly welcome we received in this bar/meze. We ordered food which is cooked fresh by the mum of the owner, it was very tasty and reasonably priced. There was a birthday celebration going on at the time and we even got given some birthday cake by the owner. Lovely people and excellent service and food. Would highly recommend.

I have an amazing time every time I visit the Imperial, the staff are friendly and the service is quick. The staff are always on hand to adhere to your requests whether that be where you'd prefer to be seated, meze requests or drinks. Overall, very welcoming.

Good place to watch the world cup with the local English fans. Don't be surprised if the karaoke breaks out at any moment.

Food was great. All very fresh and flavourful. Mezzo style Turkish food. Very good and particularly given this is a great location on the seafront. Staff are incredibly warm and welcoming and some good misc playing. Really enjoyed food and drinks here and will definitely definitely be back.

THANK YOU! Imperial Lounge stepped in last minute to help us host my Nan's 90th Birthday and I cannot praise them highly enough. We were let down by another venue and Imperial lounge moved heaven and earth to accommodate us. We run events for a living and were extremely impressed with their efficiency, logistics handling and professionalism. On the night their staff were friendly, the food was delicious, the in-house DJ was fab and they allowed us to decorate the entire venue as we saw fit. We will 100%use their lovely venue again and will recommend their services to all our friends and family.

Staff are very friendly and they treated my dog super well. The food is nice and my cocktail was delicious, I recommend as you can also have a lovely view of the sea.

Frequented here on many occasions, a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and caters for all. Tasty variety of food and kids meals for the family also - never had a bad meal here! Good selection of live music nights, and great for chilled drinks watching the sunset with prime views. Highly recommend

We went here for drinks and waited almost 20 minutes to get menus after shouting out at an waiter. They were just walking past not tending to any of the tables. We just left without ordering anything. Your service is disgusting! We were paying customers. It was not even busy at all.

Friendly staff, good food, but unfortunately they need more training, it was me and my girlfriend going out for some food everything was ok just that they mistook the tables and put me to pay for somebody else table and didn't even come to say sorry after they realised that they make a mistake, the worst part is that I was eating and he just come to table and told me to pay when I was not even halfway to finish my food, and I hear the table on my left starting ro laugh on us that we paid their bill. For shur not going back.

The owner / manager was pretty rude and belittling to the staff in front of customers in a way that was unnecessary.

Stumbled across this place whilst walking along the high st. Very friendly staff who took so much trouble to cater for a member of our party who is gluten intolerant. Food was yummy and really enjoyed the experience. Would definately go again.
