Lovely, hot and great quality meat

I’m not one to usually bother with reviews but i feel I need to comment on my sweet and sour sauce which tasted like watery plastic. No sweet or sour flavour. Was just not nice at all unfortunately, which is a shame given so many good reviews on the food.

This used to be the best Chinese takeaway in Gateshead. Original delivery time given was 17:40, this then changed to 18:00. Which is fine, they let me know. Delivered at 18:20 after I had to call the shop, as it was shown as delivered on the Just Eat app. Food was alright. It was hot and filled a whole but no where near the standard they used to have.

frozen chips. watery sauce, over cooked rice. Not good

Cold food on delivery…. Very disappointing

the spring rolls were a bit disappointing this time just skinny little generic things, on our last order they were lovely big fat deep fried goodness.

Terrible delays, bland over priced food

Original delivery time was 35-55 minutes. As soon as ordered that changed drastically and took 2 hours to deliver. Hate being lied too! was bearly warm and didn't taste anywhere near how it used to when the last people owned it

Really lovely food - will use again

I didn’t enjoy the food unfortunately just wasn’t to my taste. It smelt like a horse stable for some reason every time I ate a mouthful, my partner liked it but not good quality in my eyes.

1st time we’ve eaten from here as our usual takeaway wasn’t taking any more orders. We ordered at 7:45 delivered at 9 and the food was cold and tasteless. Not a happy bunny as we hadn’t eaten all day

Roast chicken has a lot of onion and mushrooms which is not listed. Very disappointed. Sauces very watery. Will not be ordering again.

Really cold chow mein , beef was so hard … it had probably been refried so many times that It went straight in the bin . Really poor this time

gravy were horrible didn't eat ribs because of gravy. chow main was okish bit dry meat nothing amazing. egg was nice on egg fu Yung meat was also dry my favourite part of meal was the cold can of coke the foods all still in cartons in my kitchen no ones interested in eating it apart from the dog

Ordered the 1/4 duck for £11.50. Absolutely tiny portion size, barely enough for 4 wraps (despite being given a pack of 10). Duck was also very very dry which made it seem like it wasn’t very fresh. Such a shame, everything else was gorgeous!

Aromatic duck and pancakes were very dry, salt and pepper was amazing!

What's happened to this place, I used to order from here in the early 2000's sorry to say this but it's bland runny curry sauce and the won tons were disappointing, going back to Danny's kitchen.

Food was awful. Was freezing cold & tasteless. Such a shame as we have regularly used Imperial Express but the food has really gone down hill. Very disappointed.

Delicious food as always, the house special duck is tasty and full of different meats and veg, with a lovely sauce! I got a side of ribs in Cantonese sauce and they definitely did not disappoint 😊

Egg fried rice brown bland with zero egg. 6 spring rolls were only 5..no dip. Ribs also bland accompanying onions and peppers ok. Both main dishes had 5 small pieces of chicken.chow main bland so added soy. Oyster sauce dish no discernible taste and minimal amount of sauce. Soup lovely.

Well, where do I start? The order wasn’t delivered. Despite me paying in advance. Then, when I rang to complain, I was diverted to a mobile and the guy who answered said he couldn’t help because he wasn’t at the shop. Then I got a notification saying that my order had been delivered. It certainly wasn’t. Joke of a place. Took my money. Didn’t deliver. Avoid at all costs.

Bits of chicken not cooked fully the duck had bones in it and the other parts were just fat and the curry sauce was thick lumpy and tasted disgusting. Rang shop to complain and get a refund for them to refuse saying everything is cooked properly and they wouldn’t be doing anything and hung up!! Avoid at all costs disgusting food and customer service

Beef was very chewy was disappointed

Always been my favourite Chinese but spending 40 quid on a takeaway and not even a freebie bag of prawn crackers or spring rolls like other Chineses do, more than likely won't be back sadly!

Way too early was expected at 9.30 and arrived an hour early, food was so bland , no flavour , no sauce on the king prawn in honey and chilli , so dry , bean sprouts were actually green, went in bin , never again will we eat here

This is by far the best Chinese takeaway in my area. Highly recommend it. Food always amazing and delivery always on time.

First time of using this takeaway on tye recommendation of a neighbour and was mot disappointed. Food was hot and plenty of it, delivery earlier than expected. One very happy customer.

Most the food was lovley apart from the plain omelette that was really wet and pees felt still frozen , only other issue was the driver that was impatient and kept knocking 3 times in the space of 15 seconds
