Beautiful food, good prices, food was a little late but it was well worth the wait. First time me and me mates had Chinese in a while and could not have picked a better place

Really cold chow mein , beef was so hard … it had probably been refried so many times that It went straight in the bin . Really poor this time

Roast chicken has a lot of onion and mushrooms which is not listed. Very disappointed. Sauces very watery. Will not be ordering again.

gravy were horrible didn't eat ribs because of gravy. chow main was okish bit dry meat nothing amazing. egg was nice on egg fu Yung meat was also dry my favourite part of meal was the cold can of coke the foods all still in cartons in my kitchen no ones interested in eating it apart from the dog

Ordered the 1/4 duck for £11.50. Absolutely tiny portion size, barely enough for 4 wraps (despite being given a pack of 10). Duck was also very very dry which made it seem like it wasn’t very fresh. Such a shame, everything else was gorgeous!

Aromatic duck and pancakes were very dry, salt and pepper was amazing!

What's happened to this place, I used to order from here in the early 2000's sorry to say this but it's bland runny curry sauce and the won tons were disappointing, going back to Danny's kitchen.

Food was awful. Was freezing cold & tasteless. Such a shame as we have regularly used Imperial Express but the food has really gone down hill. Very disappointed.

Worst Chinese I’ve ever had. It was cold, tasteless and the salt and chilli chips are like nothing I have seen before! One bit of green pepper and no chilli flakes. I’m now eating toast. Rang up to complain and ask for a refund but was shouted at

Delicious food as always, the house special duck is tasty and full of different meats and veg, with a lovely sauce! I got a side of ribs in Cantonese sauce and they definitely did not disappoint 😊

Egg fried rice brown bland with zero egg. 6 spring rolls were only 5..no dip. Ribs also bland accompanying onions and peppers ok. Both main dishes had 5 small pieces of chicken.chow main bland so added soy. Oyster sauce dish no discernible taste and minimal amount of sauce. Soup lovely.

Last two times we have ordered and both times order has arrived late. Food was not hot. Disappointed in quality.

Well, where do I start? The order wasn’t delivered. Despite me paying in advance. Then, when I rang to complain, I was diverted to a mobile and the guy who answered said he couldn’t help because he wasn’t at the shop. Then I got a notification saying that my order had been delivered. It certainly wasn’t. Joke of a place. Took my money. Didn’t deliver. Avoid at all costs.

Bits of chicken not cooked fully the duck had bones in it and the other parts were just fat and the curry sauce was thick lumpy and tasted disgusting. Rang shop to complain and get a refund for them to refuse saying everything is cooked properly and they wouldn’t be doing anything and hung up!! Avoid at all costs disgusting food and customer service

Beef was very chewy was disappointed

Always been my favourite Chinese but spending 40 quid on a takeaway and not even a freebie bag of prawn crackers or spring rolls like other Chineses do, more than likely won't be back sadly!

Way too early was expected at 9.30 and arrived an hour early, food was so bland , no flavour , no sauce on the king prawn in honey and chilli , so dry , bean sprouts were actually green, went in bin , never again will we eat here

This is by far the best Chinese takeaway in my area. Highly recommend it. Food always amazing and delivery always on time.

First time of using this takeaway on tye recommendation of a neighbour and was mot disappointed. Food was hot and plenty of it, delivery earlier than expected. One very happy customer.

Most the food was lovley apart from the plain omelette that was really wet and pees felt still frozen , only other issue was the driver that was impatient and kept knocking 3 times in the space of 15 seconds

Used to order from here all the time, And it was always lush.. Never had it for ages so thought I'd order cos our usual Chinese was shut, Really wish I didn't bother. It was Rank, Gravy was so watery and tasted like Bisto the gravy was always the best thing for me lovely and thick not sure what's happened there.. Fried rice was solid, Went in the bin.... chips weren't too bad. Prawn crackers were horrible.. Not sure if it's been took over or something but won't be ordering from here again.

Ordered from here a few times before and the foods always been okay but tonight it was awful! Good arrived luke warm.. chicken balls were tough and chewy, chow mein was tasteless and the chicken was really dry and tough. Chips and curry sauce in a carton was like cardboard- extremely try, in one big mush and cold! Overall extremely disappointed and majority went in the bin! Will be the last time I order from here.

I ordered egg fu yung, egg rice, curry sauce and spring rolls and when I opened the egg fu yung it smelt burnt and when we started eating it, it tasted burnt! Also the portion sizes seem to be getting smaller but the price is getting higher!

Although the food was late it was delicious. The lateness may have been because it’s a Bank Holiday so I would definitely order again and hope it doesn’t take 2 hrs next time!

Food 37 minutes late. Small portion compared to normal. No peppers which are normally in just onions with salt a pepper chicken and prawn.

Everything was lovely apart from the sweet and sour sauce which was like pouring vinegar on, it was such strong vinegar smell and not consistent with a sweet and sour flavour or taste.

The Cantonese spare ribs were amazing and also the crispy duck with pancakes were top-notch too. Will defo order again soon

Disappointing food was very bland and cold

Disappointed. I've previously reviewed this place as being superb because the food was always very hot and fresh. I had to microwave my meal this evening because it was barely warm, and the black pepper sauce was like water - literally. I won't say I'll never order from here again, but I will say that I'm going to look elsewhere next time.

AVOID!! Really poor quality for the price. Not even hot. £3.80 for chips with a couple of slices of bad quality onion and pepper thrown in and called salt and chili pepper chips is just one example. Not just once but consistently bad. In this time when a takeaway should be a treat it’s disgusting that you can pay £40 for a takeaway and it be lukewarm and barely edible. How they can put this out and not be ashamed is beyond me. This last meal actually prompted me to write to just eat app developers to ask for a blacklist button version so I can make sure we never order from here again!
