Very tasty food, really Italian cuisine, best tiramisu!

The food is always excellent and the portions are generous. The service is good too. It certainly is "The cosy one" as the tables are quite close but don't let that put you off.

Went to I'll Cocciolo before going to the Stranger Things show round the corner. The food was excellent, we had rissotto and it was just like you get in Italy. Would highly recommend it in every way.

Nice little Italian restaurant in Soho district of London (pretty sure they call it Soho....). Pizza was very good. Homemade ravioli was excellent. Prices were a little higher than other places, but okay. They also add a 10% gratuity to all checks. It's noted on the menu, and they do add that to the bill.

Not a good experience, seemed like junk food and the team was not kind

Called on the chance there would be a free table for 2. The couple on the next table were having Spaghetti Carbonara. It looked amazing so we ordered the same and some mozzarella garlic bread. We weren't disappointed. The food was hot and plentiful and just delicious!! My only negative comment would be that maybe the staff could be just that little bit more friendly. But a great find and I hope to visit again in the future!

We are visiting London and very happy to find this restaurant. The owner, the staff are very polite,pleasant and welcoming. The service is excellent. The food is delicious. We are a group of 6 and we all ordered different plates and we all enjoyed every single plate . Within 7 days we already ate there twice. The price is very reasonable considering the portions, the taste and the service. Wish them continued success.

A nice, family-run restaurant. We walked in, and unfortunately ended up in the back corner! The atmosphere was, therefore, not amazing. The food was superb, and complemented the wonderful service. The veal is pictured, and looks certainly do deceive - while it does not look too appealing, it certainly tasted wonderful.

Lovely restaurant, I think family owned and run, went prior to the Theatre show and it did not disappoint. Nice selection on the menu, service good, and cosy restaurant, will definitely go again for sure!

The most disappointing meal in London Pizza doesn’t focus on the texture of the crust The ingredients didn’t give us much surprise (I thought I could eat authentic Italian pizza in Europe) Although the price is not high, I would not recommend trying it

Having booked this back on February for my son’s birthday, as he was going to the theatre, we got lost and rang the restaurant 3 times and there was no answer. We did eventually arrive late. We were told our table had been given away. My son was gutted. The attitude of the man in the restaurant was terrible. Luckily we found a restaurant nearby that were very accommodating.

Busy restaurant on a Wednesday lunchtime - always a good sign. Excellent range in menu and food was top class. My wife said best calves liver she's ever had and my Saltimbocca 'jumped in my mouth'. Would recommend a visit and will return.

Went here for a nice meal before going to see a show. The food was very nice, the pizzas were especially amazing! The drinks were also delicious, and the service was impeccable. A relaxed atmosphere and overall a lovely dinner!

Dropped in on the off chance of a table on a Saturday night. Waited only ten minutes and had a fantastic meal served by a lovely Italian family who made us feel most welcome. They even joked we had ordered spaghetti (we hadnt) whilst holding what we had ordered just to see our faces. The mushrooms and onions in red wine sauce (like a gravy) was divine. Recommended to everyone coming to London for a reasonably priced and authentic restaurant.

Absolutely disrespectful staff! All they seem to care about is money! Got kicked out yesterday for wanting only two pizzas for 6 (3 adults and 3 children), not even being given a chance to order drinks!

Worst carbonara of my life!! clearly I didn't have high expectations in an Italian restaurant in London but they passed off a cream and ham as a carbonara "because the English do it that way". I don't recommend if you want real Italian food!

Totally authentic family run Italian restaurant. We visited in between Cursed Child parts 1 & 2, possibly a peak time in terms of footfall. The staff were clearly very busy but did a great job looking after all the tables. The food was exceptional. Even our fussy 10 year old enjoyed his massive pizza. If I'm.ever back at the Palace Theatre, I'll book in again.

From the moment we walked into this restaurant it felt as though we were a burden to the staff. Not friendly at all. After what felt like forever to be greeted, we were greeted with “are you ready? the kitchen is very busy so they want your entire order now” We were not ready to order entrees and the server seemed annoyed at this. We had already decided we weren’t going to have a full experience here. We ordered the garlic bread which tasted like frozen bread heated in an air fryer and the calamari which was like eating rubber bands. It was not edible. Very disappointed.

One of the best pizza I’ve ever had! They have a great choice of Italian dishes but would definitely recommend their pizzas. Also, +1 for the calamari as a starter, that was very good. The service was quick (perfect for a quick lunch) and the staff was great. The decoration of the place is traditional but that works well.

Twice we've eaten there, it's really good, you don't feel hungry when you leave, the service is fast despite the crowds, it's excellent. Around £20 per person for the main course, the aperitif and several starters which we shared together.

I tried this outstanding Italian restaurant 12 years ago go and I was amazed by quality of food but didn’t take it’s details I have been looking for it till I found it last week such. N amazing Italian food experience highly recommend

Went to eat between the Harry Potter shows. The shows were terrible but thank god for the excellent authentic Italian food at this little place. Highly recommend

My husband and I were regulars here, had recommended them to many of our friends in London. But a recent incident was in really bad taste has completely put us off. Our family had come down from America, and we’d reserved a table for 10 for lunch. The staff there (the lady running the place) was very rude and patronising initially refusing us tables and then begrudgingly accommodating us in two different sets of tables, all the while grumbling in Italian. While the food was alright, and the other owner tried to make up for the initial mishap, it really did leave a poor impression on us and our cousins from the other side of the pond. Today, they just lost a couple of loyal customers. And I have just edited my initial 5 star review to 1 star. Please do better and be kinder to people.

A historic review but since coming across this restaurant again on my memories, it feels needed. We visited here in 2018 on valentine's day after a matinee, and we were well and truly ripped off. We paid a high price for the time (£12), and received pasta dishes which were so minimal that we still refer to it as the worst meal out we've ever had. Our total bill was £35ish for one main course (that was starter size) each, and one bottled beer each - I'd not expect to pay much more than this in today's prices!!! We were also the only guests, yet waited a long time for the bill - we were desperate to get out!!!

So I’ve held off this review for a minute because I wondered if I was overreacting, until I saw a plate of actual carbonara at another Italian restaurant just now. Look at this disgusting mess on my plate. They made the carbonara with lasagne white sauce, absolutely disgusting. Minimal bacon and £13 btw. I politely complained to the manager after drowning it in Parmesan to hide the horrible flavour and the attitude this woman had was so foul. She was upset with me for complaining when the carbonara wasn’t even made properly.. I know this and I’m not even Italian or a chef, haha. Unless they used eggs with white yolks, I don’t see how the food could be this bland and colourless. Rude manager just told me to leave the food, so I did. I would’ve paid despite manager’s disgusting attitude but was pleased when she told me to go. Do not eat here, go to a place where they actually care about the food.

Cute, family run type place. You wouldn't think you're in Central London. Place absolutely packed with an older clientèle.

Overall a very disappointing meal. Squashed into a space lacking in ambience, the food was not authentic Italian but adapted versions for tourists with poor quality ingredients. The serving team were disengaged and cold. London has a great food scene, this is not part of it.

Booked this great cosy family run Italian for a pre-theatre meal. It was already busy before 6pm so recommend booking. Excellent range of vegetarian options and wine menu although we had the Shirley Temple mocktails. Despite being busy we were served promptly and our meals were delivered without too much delay. Will definitely come again when we're in London.

Great food, the Zucchini Fritters are a must! BUT YOU MUST BOOK. They have such a good reputation and so many happy customers! Thanks for fitting us in.

On arrival for our reservation there was no pleasant greeting...just told us to sit at a specific table...no welcome, no smile, no sign of any Christmas cheer!!! The service was very poor, with the waiter seemingly more interested in chatting to a guy working on his computer at the next table. Despite it being mid December, there was not a sign of a decoration or a tree or even a fairy light to brighten up the place and allow their guests to get into the good old Christmas spirit whilst they dined! All the above was such a shame as when the orders arrived the food was really nice. We had the chicken in different forms, and it was all really tasty....Everybody shared the same thought. If only some pleasantries could have been exchanged, then perhaps we might be inclined to return on another occasion.

An italian friend has suggested to go to eat there and we has discovered a very nice italian flavor. All dishes were very nice. Staff and owner very friendly.

Snails from the can for 14£ was the worst I ever had , pasta was decent.Service horrible , lady came in the middle of the our meal and want to take our plates then I ask them about small gap between starters and mains and they bring mains straight after. Written bills was shocked for me we are not in 90s anymore maybe some financial officer have to look it .Never back again

Hemos comido hoy mi pareja y yo allí y estaba todo exquisito,segunda vez que venga y la comida no deja de sorprenderme. Probé unos raviolis esta vez,pizza y una ensalada que estaba exquisita y la comida muy fresca,sitio perfecto de comida italiana en Londres!!

Cenamos en este restaurante porque nos apetecía comida italiana y a primera vista el lugar tenía buena pinta. A pesar del tiempo de espera decidimos probar. Para comenzar, nos caía todo el aire frío sobre nuestra mesa, justo encima teníamos un aire acondicionado, pero supuestamente estaba apagado. Pedimos textualmente agua mineral y nos sirvieron LITERALMENTE una jarra con agua del grifo y hielos. Algunos comensales pidieron pasta carbonara tradicional (con huevo, según la carta) y sirvieron carbonara con nata sin previo aviso (una de las comensales tiene intolerancia a la lactosa, por suerte llevaba su medicación a mano). A todo esto añadir que todos los platos tenían un exceso exagerado de pimienta, no había por dónde cogerlo.

La comida estaba terroríficamente mala. Me pedí una carbonara la cual en la puerta de fuera en la cartelera donde estaba expuesta la carta ponía concretamente que era con huevo y para mi sorpresa al entrar era enteramente hecha con nata. El aire acondicionado me dijeron que estaba apagado y hacía muchísimo frío, no volveré, salí malísima de ahí. El plato además por cierto de ser el 100% nata, tenía un sabor a pimienta que no era ni medio normal. Además todo tenía exceso de sal. Agua del grifo, todo mal. Nada recomendable.0.

The best food I have ever eaten

Picture this: a carbonara so audaciously bad, it could start its own comedy show. It arrived with the swagger of a dish confident in its mediocrity, draped in what can only be described as ‘sauce à la blandness’. The pasta, seemingly boiled in the tears of Italian chefs, clung together in a sad display of solidarity against flavor. And the pièce de résistance? Bits of bacon so lost in identity crisis, they could pass for cardboard chic. A culinary misadventure, this dish boldly goes where no carbonara should ever go – straight into the annals of kitchen nightmares.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in London. The food and the ambiance are really authentic Italian.

Booked a table here for 5.00pm on Saturday evening, 11.11.23, between the performances of "Harry Potter" play at The Palace Theatre. Table was ready when we arrived. The food is wonderful, hot and very tasty. It arrived very quickly but we did not feel any pressure to eat and get out. The staff never stop moving but great service. Will definitely be returning here for dinner. Thanks for a lovely meal.

Went for a pre theatre dinner, lovely food. Had to wait ages for the ordered sides of peas and green beans, in fact we had nearly finished our meals by the time they came. The waitress was very good. Would go back due delicious food.

Really great and affordable food. We enjoyed our visit here. Quaint restaurant with outstanding service. The portions were very generous so you better have an appetite. The Bolognese was wonderful and the bruschetta was fresh and flavorful. The value was so good. I would go back in a heart beat. Don't miss the dessert. The Tiaramisu was authentic. Be sure to make a reservation if you can because you don't want to miss out.

The best ravioli i have ever had. Definitely give a try to the spinach and ricotta ravioli with meat sauce. If i had to pick a last meal it would be this. Great service and amazing server. Definitely would come back!!

Comida Italiana muy buena!! La calidad y el servicio excelente. El precio elevado si lo comparas con España, pero bien. Por 55£ comen 2 personas pizza cada uno y bebida.

everything here is good apart from the food, i could not taste anything apart from the saltyness of the food, there was way too much salt in the food. this is a no no for me. its as if the chef put a glass of salt in the food.

Not the first time, and always nice pasta. Authentically pasta italiana. The flavour is really good and many menu options. The place is always busy and the staff can be quiet busy too. I recommend them if you are in Soho and want to eat italian food. Not recommend fir a reunion. Prices are amazing, very affordable to everyone.

Ignorant lady (I presume the owner) refused to take the 10% optional tip off and said there was no need too as there was nothing wrong. I repeatedly said I can’t because it’s work account and can’t claim tip money back. Won’t be returning just out of the ignorance, very rude lady. Drinks order slow coming and food too. Just found her very rude.

My pasta dish (goats cheese gnocchi in a tomato sauce) was tasty but portion quite small. My partner's spaghetti bolognese was disappointing - not much flavour. Well located for the theatre we went to but there are better restaurants in the area in terms of quality and value for money.

Walked in off the street & asked for a table for 2. They were fully booked but squeezed us in. Had a lovely meal & a beer. My wife had a Risotto al Pollo & I had the special - Pork fillet in Masarla sauce with seasonal veg & sauteed potatoes. Wonderful meal. Thank you so much. Spent almost £50.00 but it's Soho. What do you expect!!!!! Definitely coming back.
