The Ivy Victoria in City of London, Westminster

Ella & Reece saved the day. Unfortunately, this isn't the service I usually expect at the Ivy. Delays with service after receiving our main. However, I was made aware they were short of staff on the day.

Food was ok, service was nice though a bit slow. I wouldn't have noticed except we had to leave in time to see a play nearby, which we mentioned when we sat down.

Beautiful place and delicious food… every time we come to London it is a fixed stop. Excellent service, especially Giovanni who with his kindness makes the experience even more special!

I went for a lunch meeting with some new partners. I had a lovely time, the duck salad starter was delicious and light.

I had lunch at The Ivy Victoria on 7th May with a group of friends. The table was booked in advance by person X and deposits were paid. I arrived a couple of minutes after the rest of my group and on arrival, the male receptionist said there was no booking on X name. I asked him to re-check and receptionist said the same thing. I went back to the office (which is next to the restaurant), printed the reservation and returned to the restaurant. Same receptionist checked once again for a booking on X name and, without apologising, said, yes, there is a booking but table was closed after the main group arrived (which may explain why receptionist initially told me there was no booking!). I was then shown to the table and told my friends what had happened, friends said that they had not asked for the table to be closed so, receptionist shouldn't have made unilateral decision to close the table. The restaurant was not running at capacity and there were a few tables free so, it wasn't as if there was a need to close the table. The service was sluggish to take orders and to bring the food (food arrived well over 40 minutes after placing orders). Waiters looked confused and inexperienced, but they did make an effort for one of my friends who had allergies. The food itself was ok, not great. I found the flavours a bit bland. No wow factor. All and all, disappointing.

We had the 1917 set menu and the food was delicious. The service was great and in a magnificent setting.

Everything here was wonderful last night. The ambiance, the food and the service. Our waiter, Giovanni, went above and beyond. Looking forward to enjoying again soon.

Wonderful breakfast and so much food for the money! Ambience was especially nice. Giovani was our waiter and he did a very good job of serving our table with gentlemanly demeanor.

Excellent lunch and ultimately not too expensive considering the restaurant's standing. We'll definitely be back.

The first Ivy we visited, like the others, has a good menu and a refined but at the same time not excessively formal environment. Good prices for the city average in relation to the quality of the food. Recommended!

Lovely food - quite small portions so probably best to go for 3 courses if you want to be full. Prices quite expensive but what you'd expect from here. Service was good. Nice atmosphere.

Afternoon tea was lovely BUT service very slow (had to ask 3 times for tap water, waiter did not know what was in the vegetarian option) and an automatic 13% service charge was added to our bill. When we queried this it became an ‘issue’ that we were required to explain. We intended to leave a tip, but of our choosing!

The door man was very discriminating. Better don t host important guests here.

Had cream tea at Ivy Victoria and really enjoyed it. The scones were great—though we might be biased because we love scones and clotted cream! The staff were super friendly too. Such a nice way to spend the afternoon.

Attended a business meal here last week and was served by a lovely French gentleman who was super helpful with dish recommendations. The food was fantastic—highly recommend the French Onion Soup, it was fresh and full of flavour. Warm atmosphere and very reasonably priced for a group of three. Great spot in London!

Sotiris at Ivy Victoria was really helpful. I booked the wrong Ivy restaurant and due to my mix up he couldn’t have been more helpful. He found us a table and nothing was too much trouble. Food was tasty and great surroundings. Thank you

I really like the decor, atmosphere and service. I go there often and am never disappointed. Zucchini fries, arancini and french onion soup are great.

Had a meal in a party of 8. Table was a little small for our party size and managed to drop my chips on me as they delivered. That said staff were very good and would go back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Ivy in London Victoria, and it was a lovely experience. The environment at The Ivy is impressive. The restaurant has a warm and elegant atmosphere. A special mention to David, who made the evening even more memorable. He was welcoming, attentive, and ensured that everything ran smoothly. His professionalism and friendly manner really stood out. Overall, it was a fantastic experience — great food, beautiful setting, and outstanding service.

We had the most fabulous meal at Ivy Victoria . What made our night so spectacular was our amazing server Jagoda. She was friendly, warm and made us feel so welcomed. We are from the US and she helped us pick out a fabulous English meal. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone !!!! The fish and chips and Shepard pie were incredible !!!!

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to after my experience here. The food was decent, but what really stood out was the exceptional hospitality. Our server—Sotiris, I believe—was truly outstanding. Friendly, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire meal. It's rare to receive that level of genuine care and attention, especially in London. He really made the whole experience so enjoyable. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We visited this beautiful city three weeks ago. My friend recommended this place to us.. I just want to say that it is wonderful. Delicious food, cozy place and the best thing was the staff. Alexandra served us at the bar and without a doubt she was very attentive at all times

We have become regular patrons at the Ivy Victoria. Food is consistent and great (fish & chips and french onion soup are some of my favorites), and the service was brilliant. He was attentive, accommodating (no croutons/bread in the soup), and so courteous. Thank you, Ishmail, for your excellence!

We had such a nice experience of food and atmosphere in Ivy Victoria! Thanks to Mr Sotiris' great help we had one of the best sea bass fillet in the city with delicious smoked aubergine! Definitely gonna be back!

What a magnificent place. It’s simply beautiful. Came a little randomly for breakfast and we had a great time. Sumptuous decor, adorable waiters, a delicious and hearty full English breakfast. Really worth doing! We will come back. Thank you so much Giovanni!!!!

Food was alright as the Ivys usually are, good but not exceptional

There is an expectation of quality when you dine at an ‘Ivy’ restaurant. Our experience was rather disappointing. The ladies toilets were so dirty. Full bins(not just paper towels…), toilet paper all over the the floor, dirty loo’s… I appreciate there is a responsibility for guests to have a little more self-respect… however, not a good first impression at all. Lovely waiter, however when guests order water & a 2nd bottle of wine with their meal, you would expect to receive it before your meal is finished! Food was prepared and seen ready to be served, but it took a while for staff to bring it to the table. Some of the meals were served cold. No manager came by to check whether the food & service was up to standard! It is not for guests to chase down managers to share feedback… hence the review.

We had David as a server, he was amazing! Well rounded in the serving department, the food was amazing as well as the tea! Would definitely recommend stopping by and experiencing it first hand, and make sure you ask for David!

My first time here and really enjoyed every minute of it due to it being french cuisine from 1917, I am French so yes it was delicious and authentic as advertised, I will be coming back here again. The staff are excellent and also bilingual and that's a plus.

A cute and delicious restaurant! We got the cream tea for a great price. It’s perfect if you’re looking for the tea experience but don’t want the expensive prices. We had David as a server and he was so friendly. Definitely recommend this place. It was amazing!

Came in for tea and scones with friends this afternoon and this was the cutest place ever ! Everything was absolutely delicious and David was so polite and made our experience so much better ! Made us laugh and made sure our table made memorable memories ! Ask for David the next time you come in, he’s so sweet !:)

Our dining experience this evening at The Ivy Victoria was nothing short of appalling. For a hefty £180 bill for two, you would anticipate exceptional service. Instead, an evening of frustration and disappointment. I don’t necessarily mind the 40 minute wait between our starters and mains, if we’re looked after and topped up on drinks in the proces. The apetisers were served after the starters, and only because we managed to flag down a staff member to ask for them. Impossible to get their attention for drinks, we sat with empty glasses for nearly half an hour. We were meant to be celebrating both our birthdays, we chose The Ivy for its reputation as a treat for ourselves. What a mistake. The food was nice enough, but nothing beyond what we could have prepared at home. It seems The Ivy relies solely on its decor and reputation to justify their prices, neglecting the fundamental aspect of hospitality, SERVICE!! Save your money. Avoid.

The waiter David is awesome! He is from Portugal and spoke in Portuguese with me and my family from Brazil.

Had a fantastic evening at the Ivy in Victoria street with my wife last Thursday night. The food was outstanding, especially loved the zucchini frites and Scollops to start. Ana Lopez went above and beyond to make us feel like a celebrity couple after seeing that we were newly weds which was fantastic. She is a perfect example of how to provide table service, by preemptively suggesting what we need, at one point my phone died as I was booking a hotel, like some kind of magic Jeeves she just magically appeared and asked if I would like it charged. Visited the Ivy Victoria with our family on the 18th March to celebrate our Daughters 30th Birthday. Service, Food and Atmosphere were top drawer and our server Maggie could not have been more helpful or friendly, she even arranged with the chef a small cake especially for our Daughter who was celebrating her birthday.

Lovely service, including making my girlfriend feeling very special on her birthday. We arrived at just past six, had three courses and still made the theatre at half seven. Would thoroughly recommend as part of a trip to the theatre.

Went there on Tuesday. The establishment is fabulous, as are the staff. Ahlam was my waiter, she was absolutely wonderful! It is a little bit on the pricier side, but I personally would not let that stop me from going again!

I went there with a dog so I had to be seated outside but at least they put heaters all around us, the food was delicious and the staff were really kind.

I love The Ivy. We were in the but stuck in the side and it was a little chilly. Giovanni is lovely and very helpful.

Right? It was the best sea Bessie hat you know what? That means that means it was the best seat, best he had, and the oh gosh, the jackfruits, appetizer, you, you said it, you loved it. You said you never had anything like that in your life. And then at the fish and chips get pairs the best fishing ships in the world. You never had it prepare like that .c

We love going to this restaurant. It's the atmosphere and service that we love, as well as the fact the food is amazing. It's a wonderful date night. A special mention of Fabs behind the bar has to be made. He makes the best cocktails in town.

Very lovely place. We were so pleased with all of our selections and the decor, food, and drinks for our party guests. There was a very rude bartender that put a damper on the mood of some of our guests. Overall it's lovely and we will likely come again. Very energetic and lively environment with a trendy crowd.

Unfortunately, the themed heritage menu seemed to have more significance and importance to the chef than a client’s allergies! The two course heritage menu only had three starters from which we could choose and one of the options, watermelon, wasn’t available the day I went. The other two options included prawns and peanuts, both of which I’m allergic to. There was no solution but for me to pay the two course price for one course as they wouldn’t allow me to have a dessert in lieu of the starter and I wanted the chicken dish from the heritage menu. The chips were delicious and I was very pleased that I was allowed to swap mashed potato for the chips. (Who eats mashed potato when they’re out for dinner..?!) That said, I did pay for a dessert which was very delicious. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere lively. We had an enjoyable evening despite the menu challenges.

Went for my mums 60th lunch in the week and Maybe because I’ve been to other Ivys and the Asia in St Paul’s that this one left me disappointed. It’s ok for a business lunch but that’s it. The food was quite tasteless and nothing special for the price. Staff were friendly but took ages to come over when we wanted to order anything, yet so quickly to clear our plates away. I ordered the chicken in breadcrumbs and my mum had the steak tartare, it was very average. The squid starter was probably the best part. We were also told we had only 90min for our table and felt rushed, they cared more about the people there for business than other guests.

We had an incredible evening at The Ivy Victoria Brasserie! The food was exceptional, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. A special thank you to our wonderful waitress, Ana Lopez, for her warm and attentive service. Being chosen as the "Couple of the Evening" made the night even more special. We can't wait to return!
