The Ivy Victoria in City of London, Westminster

We recently had a team dinner at The Ivy in Victoria and I have to say, the service we recieved by Ana was incredible. She was attentive, super lovely and really took care of us. Service in restaurants really goes a long way these days and someone like Ana makes you want to go back! Thank you Ana.. and hopefully will see you soon! ❤️

To begin with there was a slight mix up with which menu was available for our time slot of after 7pm Then there was a slight mix of the alternatve menus offered to us then being told not all the menus offered were current However our wait advised is "nothing is impossible" & "we can make this work" With lots of negotiations & good humour options were chosen. Overall some there was a mixed response to our meal.options on reception On the least popular experiances The alternative bottle of coke instead of champagne for our driver should not have been an additional cost Over cooked duck main - should not mean burnt - bitter tasting Chicken main was dry & needed some sort of moisture or sauce & the added mash was a very petit portion On the postive side The duck, the chicken.on skewers & the salmon on rye bread starters were really yummy The veggie curry, rice, blacken cod, & seabass, were the very best main meals of the evening & really enjoyed The extra portion of rice for for slightly delayed curry was very considerate The presentation & eating of the sticky toffee pudding & the Irish Coffee finale were definite winners Overall the experience mostly positive - the staff were kind, reasonably attentive & friendly But the good vibes of my friends enjoying this experience together in a lovely setting was the best

In a special atmosphere, created by the floral interior design we enjoyed a great birthday dinner! The Food was delicious, the drinks inventive. Our waitress Radusa was simply perfect! She was professional but also approachable. With her kind and attentive Service she made the experience unforgettable!

It was alright. Nice ambiance but sort of boring food, definitely under seasoned. I got the sense the waiters were kind of uninterested in me since I was there by myself.

Really pretty restaurant. Terrible service by manbun bartender & they auto-charge a 13.5% tip. Guess that is why they don't care? Do not visit this place, dozens of better places within a few blocks. Never again.

Food is delicious in particular the duck leg and Shepherd's 🥧 pie

The perfect choice for post show supper! My elderly mother was in our party and Maitre D Giles and his team made the evening so special. The food was delicious and the whole experience sublime.

We visited the Ivy tonight, we were sat outside. We were offered water we declined however the waiter gave us a sarcastic remark whilst pouring the water we didn't want. When we were ready to order and asked to order he left us waiting and waiting. At this point I decided this was not a good choice and decided to leave. on leaving we met with Roxy the manager. She asked why we were leaving she absolutely turned a bad situation around and served us herself. Apologised profusely she won us over with her charm and professionalism. Being in hospitality myself I was impressed. She went above and beyond our expectations fabulous communication skills and customer service . The waiter in my opinion could perhaps do with a customer service refresher course as Roxy is a hands on Manager he should take some valuable experience from her . Thanks Roxi 👍:)

Had a great night with my colleagues at the Ivy, great attention from Ana Lopez that was really attentive from the moment we arrived to the moment we left, great option for dinner, highly recommend the rendang duck curry!

I went with my cousin who was visiting from Canada. This place was recommended so we decided to try it. Food was great but as were seated outside we saw a mice running around very close to our table. On looking closely we saw mouse traps everywhere. We were wondering why the manager kept coming over and looking around when no one was seated next to us. We said this to the manager but he said that this is London and dismissed us. What was an initial good experience turned out to be awful. It made us feel sick to our stomach. They still charged us full price and service charge on top. Very disappointed!

Nice! And we enjoyed a good (but too expensive) Catalan wine.

Lovely little restaurant! Had drinks here with a date and then ordered food afterwards. Service was exceptional and the food was tasty! Well worth a visit once again to experience the menu and the ambience.

Great decor, great food and great staff! Went for a birthday meal and our waitress was the best! Both very pleased with the service and our dinner.

We were seated outside which was ok. The waitress didn't seem to want to be there. Was pretty miserable and rude. She got the wine order wrong firstly. I had a fillet steak which was rather expensive. Had to purchase chunky chips as an extra, these were very salty. The steak was cooked well but was fatty.chewy and tough. I left half of it. It was a very disappointing experience.

One star as we had dinner with mice (saw two) running around at the outdoor area. Flagged this to the waiter who said "they are a part of the family". Flagged again to the cashier who replied "what can we do? we can't do nothing about it" whilst giving an eye to his colleague. As if it is normal to have your meal with mice running next to your feet and on the flower pot. The way they replied casually even without extending an apology didn't reflect their status as a fine dining restaurant.

The best restaurant I visited in my short stay in London. The restaurant is very well decorated and quiet, and although from my point of view it is focused on a local clientele, as a tourist I was served excellently, probably the best service I have ever received. The menu consists of a variety of British dishes that I thought were the best I ate in the city and that best suited my Mediterranean tastes. If you visit London on a medium-high budget, it is a good option.

As a group of 5 ladies we were extremely well looked after by Ana Lopez on Thursday 26 September in the evening. The food was delicious. She was very helpful, patient and interacted with us, even taking a photo of the 5 of us with The Ivy logo as the background. Thank you Ana for making our evening extra special. A perfect hostess!

We ate outside with wonderful service. The waiter was attentive and very funny! We were relieved after reading some previous reviews. The food was good as usual. The loos are worth a visit for their flamboyant decoration!!

Bad service. They forgot to put in my order. The food was great but it was extremely slow. I dined at 4:00 pm on a Friday on 9/20/24. I ordered my 3 courses at once to make it easy for the server but still had to wait so long. Not sure if it’s because I sat outside. I wondered if they went to the farm to harvest potato then shipped it to London for my shepherd’s pie. My dessert never came and I kept waiting. I think they forgot to put in my order. I had to leave cause I wasn’t going to sit there and kept waiting. Also, the table next to me ordered coffee but the server never put in the order. So it wasn’t just my order that they messed up. They had the audacity to charge me service fee for their mediocre service. The space was very beautiful and clean and the food was good. Too bad on the service.

Our group of.nine ladies visited twice today. Before and after Hamilton. Both experiences were excellent and cannot fault the food or the service. Thank you.

What a gorgeous establishment! I visited with family for a late evening dessert-only, and the food, cocktails, coffee, service, and ambiance were second to none. Any of The Ivy locations will certainly be on my list for my next visit to the city.

I am a big fan of the Ivy. I recently visited the Ivy Victoria last week, and I found that the service was impeccable so was the food . However, I was extremely disappointed by the state of the restroom facilities . The floors were not clean , toilets blocked ( men’s toilets) , towel paper on the floor . There was a noticeable lack of attention to this part of the restaurant. This not only detracted from my overall dining experience but also raised concerns about the the hygiene and cleanliness standards . I understand that maintaining a busy restaurant can be challenging but I believe that clean and well maintained restrooms are crucial for maintaining a positive dining experience for all your customers. I do hope you can address this matter promptly to maintain the high standards your restaurant is known for . Thank you for you attention to this matter and I look forward to visiting the Ivy Victoria.

After visiting Buckingham Palace, I searched for and visited a nearby fish and chips restaurant. I didn't make a reservation and ended up sitting on the terrace, but it was nice and warm with a fireplace. The fried potatoes and fish were extremely crispy. Overall, the food was delicious. The bathroom was so pretty that I had to take a picture.

Delicious food and good service, quite quiet for a Sunday night but we really enjoyed the food. The steak was very tender and juicy and the duck curry was delicious. Bring your Mastercard 😀as you’ll need it !

2408 A stylish and urban interior. The shepherd's pie was delicious, both the mashed potatoes and the meat were soft and delicious. The hamburger has a strong meaty texture. If you live in Tokyo, there are many beautiful shops like this, so you may not have to go out of your way to visit them on your trip.

We were a party of 8 wanting a quick supper. The restaurant and staff looked after us from start (we were delayed in arrival) to finish. The food was very good - it came quickly and was delicious - and the evening was enhanced by our brilliant server, Anna Lopez. She was very engaging with all of the table and incredibly efficient. Poor, very poor for £350 for 4 people. I booked 5 months in advance for my Mums 70th to visit following our visit to Hamilton, great show by the way. I called ahead the day before asking for a special table for our special evening. Table was not that. Stuffed in the corner by the exit. I mean come on….you had one job. FYI - it was 5:30pm so hardly rush hour and not holidays anymore. Service was average at best and food was ok. They delivered me the wrong main so that had to go back. Everything just felt very half hearted tbh. If I was the manager of that place I’d be massively upping my training on my staff. If I could go back again I would go somewhere else. I doubt this review will affect such a big chain but hopefully someone reads it and thinks twice because I wouldn’t visit again. Message to staff - make more of an effort. Message to chef - get food out quicker because whilst it’s sitting under the hot plate it’s cooking to a ‘well done’ quality. Disappointed.

Great restaurant with a nice setting to have some of the British classical dishes amongst some other meals. They also offer day specials and balanced meals. We tried the fish and chips, Shepard's pie and salmon dish, as well as some sides of spinach parmesan and peas. Very good service and ambiance as well.

I used to think The Ivy was about quality food and integrity. But it seems now it's just aesthetics. The food was bland and uninspired, I don't think anyone from our party of 20+ left feeling satisfied. Not only that, we were served prosecco and canapes as if they were complimentary, only for them to charge us for it at the end lol. Left feeling hustled tbh

Very slow service from mediocre staff, cocktsils arrived 10min apart without nuts order, mains arrived on cold plates, mash was cold and returned, by time it came back main was cold, not a patch on the ivy west street, found out brasseries are franchises. Bill discounted by £24 but £13.50 service still added, £97 wasted, very disappointing, Will not be going back. Stick with the original, far far superior.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the waiting team who served us, including especially Ruthina, who all went above and beyond. Great service always makes a world of difference to a dining experience, you are all a credit to The Ivy Victoria! £19.17 Menu was good value for the area and the experience.

Terrific experience. The staff let us in even though we were dressed far from their dress code (we had been out touring London so we were in shorts, T-shirts and trainers), however the staff immediately understood that we were there for the experience and happily accommodated us. We sat at the bar and proceeded to get through the cocktail list. We also had the steak tartare, a must have. Thank you wonderful people.

We had breakfast and was thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a delightful meal. The highlight of the evening, however, was the exceptional service provided by our waiter, Giovanni. He was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

Food came before the wine shepherds pie underwhelming

I had an auntie and uncle visiting from the USA and took them here but also for the birthday of my mum and her twin brother. They all had a wonderful and a great experience. They staff went above and beyond and we are so thankful.

Had coffee and a drink with a friend this morning, and was so disappointed... It was a lovely morning so we decided to sit outside, that was a mistake it seems. 15 minutes before a menu arrived and I had to get up and ask for one. Another 15 mins before anyone turned up to ask us what we wanted, that's half an hour with nothing! The second round of drinks was wrong despite us wanting the same thing again, the bill was wrong and had to be ammended... Come on Ivy! We've got used to a great standard from you guys in several of your locations across London and letting us down like this is just not on, we need you guys to be good across the board wherever we see your brand I'm writing this because I think you need to know

The set menu 2 courses for £19.17 is a pretty good deal but bear in mind the starters are mainly small salads so not a substantial meal. You’ll be just okay, not overstuffed but for the price you couldn’t expect more. Nice taste, stunning ambiance. Great as a pre-theatre dinner before Hamilton.

We visited for brunch on August bank holiday. The food and service was incredible. Two of our party of four have special dietary restrictions and David J our waiter went above and beyond to ensure everything was ok. The service from everyone, especially David was first class and the food was amazing.

If you’re in London you have to try any Ivy restaurant. We had brunch at The Ivy Victoria after doing Buckingham palace. The inside is very cute and the service here was fast and amazing. We ordered the zucchini frittes which was alright. The zucchini was cut into skinny pieces, which I prefer when they are cut into sticks. I highly recommend the Ivy burger with cheese and bacon added. It is very filling and delicious. We also had the avocado Benedict which was also very good if you’re looking for more of a brunch dish.

The ivy is truly an experience not just the meal! Can’t recommend David enough for his amazing customer service.

The Ivy is a place to discover in London, the food is excellent, the fish and chips, the burrata… we loved it. Emrick, one of the French employees, is really wonderful and gives very good advice. I recommend this restaurant and thank you Emrick. Good luck in your London life and in this restaurant.

Service very good and the waiters were excellent. Nice attention to detail ie the ivy on the plate was turned to top of plate. Just a little thing but it was lovely. Oh and the ladies toilets so plush.

This is a beautifully designed restaurant and bar spread over two floors. It serves food all day and has specials. The breakfast deal was ok though the vegetarian meal could have done with some toast. We were met with such distain when we first walked in that we left immediately. Our next option was closed so we returned. The suited manager was delightful so made up for the dour disinterested waiter. There is a bar upstairs, a private dining room, outdoor areas on both floors.

A group of 10 of us visited as we were celebrating a couple’s anniversary. The food; especially the fish and chips was fabulous. A special thank you to our brilliant waiter Bayhan who looked after us! Definitely recommend.

Lobster linguine and crème brûlée very good

My first visit to any of the Ivys, and it was indeed a very positive, wholesome experience. Really liked the service, it had a genuine touch. The ambience and the decor too had an air of comfortable restfulness. We tried the blackened cod (very good), and eggs benedict, avocado benedict, & the eggs royale - these 3 were pretty alright. The calamari and prawn starters were even better, and makes one crave more. I believe this is a dependable choice, and offers a reliable standard, no matter which branch you visit. Visit if you want something known and do not want surprises.

Had dinner at The Ivy in Victoria, on Tuesday evening four of us, start from the beginning, the welcome at the reception was very friendly, and quick on receiving us and given us a very nice table, service was excellent. Our waitress and Maria was super friendly and helpful, attentive and never once being pushy while enjoying our drinks, we ordered few different starters. Steak tartar was my favorite very fresh and melting in the mouth very good. 10 out of 10, out of all the mains we ordered, the pie was awesome, the rib-eye steak were flavoursome and fall off the bone, was delicious,as Maria she recommended medium-rare, the mash potatoes were soo good and such a smoth texture i love it. What it made it special our dinner here was the impeccable service of Maria and her team, she has soo much passion and puts hard work, all around us other tables they received same service and attention,The ivy is very lucky to have Her, we been asked is there was any celebration o special occasion by Maria and we got free desserts was super tasty, even though we were very full and we didn't had any room left for desserts, we had a great dining experience and would highly recommend this place. Thank yoi Maria and her team once again, we will love to see you again soon.

Staff are extremely nice and helpful when we entered. They took us to a private room that we booked beforehand for a small gathering. The bread and butter is hot and amazing! Really enjoyed it. The main food was amazing as well. Worth the money when you include the service and food
