HOP Vietnamese Restaurant Oxford St. (West One Centre) in City of London, Westminster

Ordering is done through a touch screen, so it's easy even if you're not good at English. My name was called about 3 minutes after ordering. I really wanted to eat rice, so I was soothed by the Asian flavor. I think it's a good price considering the location, but at 1,800 yen, it's scary how cheap the yen is. Since it is a fast food restaurant, the chairs and tables are cheap and the number of seats is quite small. I had the lemongrass chicken and it was delicious.

Small portions for the price charged. The chicken was cut into tiny pieces and barely lukewarm. Won't be coming back.

This place is a joke. The food is very salty. And over price! I will never buy anything again there.

Had this place on my list to visit for ages, very happy to have finally been! The food was delicious, I had a pork rice box with a side of tater tots and everything tasted really great. I like that you can order on the screens and explore the menu too. The only downsides for me are that the music was way too loud for me, I found it quite overwhelming. It was very night club -esque and it was as loud as one! The other downside for me is that I found the wooden cutlery quite difficult to use, and found it didn’t really pick much up as it’s quite shallow.

Stopped by after shopping on our way back home and we fancied a little on-the-go bite and were left disappointed and let down. Service felt a bit robotic and cold, there were limited seating options and the Pho we ordered tasted bland and not the most authentic - the broth/soup was lacking in flavour and texture and the portions appeared miniscule. Unfortunately, we'll have to establish this is more of a tourist/commutting spot for those nearby judging on its prime location and therefore cannot recommend HOP Vietnamese. Thumbs down sadly.

Very small restaurant inside the shopping mall. There’s no space when we arrive as there’s only few seats available. So end up we order takeaway.

The food is not worth the money, very bad pho. Too bland too bad. The chopsticks are also very bad quality. The sitting place is uncomfortable. The dimsums tastes like the ones from itsu.

My Bahn Mi came out really quick and lukewarm. The bread was stale and really chewy but the chicken was nice. For winter I’d expect my food to be served piping hot. Disappointing.

Good quality, but at £8.50 for a Banh Mi that is half the size of a pret baguette, I just can't justify eating here. Terrible value for money

Sorry but the banh Mi was so off here. It’s okay but it’s not your traditional Vietnamese Banh Mi. Can’t say anything else cause that was the only thing I ate, the pork one, it tastes “westernised” and looked like it catered to the demographic too. I will not come back to try anything else unfortunately

Ordered delivery but was given really small amount of meat. Maybe dining in would be different.

I came to this place 2 times, first I had a bubble tea during their half price deal time, the bubble was nothing special, but considering the price it was reasonable. Another day I had beef pho and chicken strips, they were really nice and flavourful, reasonable price for the area, the place inside it's really beautiful and there is seating !

I needed a quick bite to eat before work and saw this little gem. I ordered the satay chicken, which was very tasty. I was pleasantly surprised I will definitely be visiting this place again

Chargrilled pork noodles salad was good. Good portion for the price and location ie central London. However the bubble tea was the worst I have to-date. It’s way too sweet and the tapioca bubbles were sloppy. I literally had about 10% of it and threw it away. Luckily I bought it at half price due to the promotion.

I ordered the ribs rice box and I have to say it’s very tasty and tender . Price is pretty good for what is offered! Will return soon! Mango fruit tea surprised me ! Good food here!

Ordering was so easy and stress free as someone with allergies. Order on a touch screen and the screen shows you as your ordering the ingredients in each dish. So yummy - coconut curry, rice and pulled mushrooms were amazing. Easy to eat on the go. We grabbed a dinner each and could easily eat it on the train in the tin it came in.

Probes one of the least attractive food to go near. No efforts put in what so ever No flavour soggy never again waste of £13 🤢🤢🤢

From outside this place looks so attractive with great food options but I walked in to order and saw this (watch video) it is disgusting the way the salad is prepared and completely unhygienic. (Staff member literally massaging the salad in between his fingers and picking it out from under his nails!!! Please teach your staff to wear gloves before handling food then I may give it a go! Very disappointing

Excellent food and good value. Staff very friendly and welcoming. It’s a great place for quick tasty food on the way to/from Bond Street station. It’s in the small shopping centre above the tube station. I had the crunchy chicken salad last time and it was really tasty!

Really tasty breakfast!!! I had the breakfast bowl and the tater tots, it was delicious! I thought it looked small but I ended up being so full because the pot contains all the nutrients you need. Definitely my favourite place in the area.

Probably hit and miss depending on when you order. I ordered Deliveroo - lemongrass chicken had barely any chicken. It does have some flavour. Breaded chicken was hard, chicken was dry. Banh Mi - the bread was pretty dry. I understand - it's fast(er) food, and comes prepared ages in advance - but even then it was unsatisfactory. Would not recommend - esp. not at Deliveroo prices also. If you're going to be spending > £10 ... probably worth finding a vietnamese restaurant that cooks everything fresh. That's kind of the whole point about vietnamese food no? I gave it 2 stars because I'm still alive after eating it. It's a little like eating leftover food.

Ordered went smooth. It’s done from the screen and you pick up with your ticket number written in the receipt. Got my food in less than 5-7 mins. For £8.95 it’s a bargain for a Vietnamese Curry! Incredibly mouthwatering and scrumptious. Loved it a lot! Would definitely come here again

Underwhelmed. Let me expand on why... Simple order of beef brisket pho, essentially 3 ingredients*, but they missed the beef brisket. Realising this back at the office, a 10 minute walk away, I make the walk back, another 10 minutes - I initially waited in store to pick up for another 10 mins btw but that is testament to how busy and likely popular they are (this is my experience, not necessarily others). They correct the order, and make a kind offer of a side to make up for it. 10 minute return walk to the office, and I find the little bag of additions (chilis, coriander, onion, mint etc.) does not contain what I chose originally, either mixed up or wrong again. The crispy chicken side kindly offered was not crispy, it was soft and squishy. The pho was ok (save for the wrong additions) once I managed to get it back to my office, but I was a bit annoyed from the lengthy wait, the back and forth and still not as I ordered when I did eat it. Bit of a shame, as I went intentionally to Hop in Bond Street tube after waiting for it to open over the Summer. I will likely try it again, but order something else and I'll check the order before leaving, especially if the store is busy.

Disgusting food and rude staff. I've never had pho like this. Noodles are in pieces. And the staff said this is their proper Noodles.

Un petit restaurant vietnamien sympathique au milieu d’une gare en plein centre de Londres, proche du célèbre magasin Selfridges, visité un jour de semaine vers 14h30. La cuisine y est bonne, le service rapide mais l’espace est très très restreint, il y a très peu de places assises, il faut donc commander et prendre à emporter. Je dirais en revanche que le majeur bémol réside dans le volume sonore de la musique diffusée : impossible de tenir une discussion tant la musique était forte.

I picked up a noodle salad quickly on my way home, and it was a really good surprise! I strongly recommend it! I went for the 'meaty mushrooms' and again, it exceeded my expectations, it was delicious.

The food is barely warm, sometimes If u lucky it will be hot, one portion hot second one cold when I ordered. The quantity is not the best but it's central london.The atmosphere inisde small shop is very cool definitely a good job. The food isn't the tastiest unfortunately, soup mostly noodles and water, ratio to mushroom or meat very poor. Sandwich quite dry and tasteless unfortunately.The drink section is much better especially coffee.Dessert (rice puddings)are very nice and it's good escape from standard offered desserts. Overall some menu option require improvementore hot, less dry

Good small food stop Inside the station mini mall. It was clean. Staff as courteous as can be on a late night. Food : the Vietnamese noodle salad, the rice noodles were slightly hard and could do with a bit more dressing. But the pork and coriander and chilli topping was delicious. The slaw also was tast, as well as the vegetable dumplings. Portions were a good size and overall filling. The place is rather small, seating only 8 people at bar bench seating. But as mentioned good for a quick stop eat.

If you like Vietnamese food or you want to try something different then HOP Vietnamese is a must! We stopped by their new Bond Street store on our way to the theatre and the food was delicious and full of flavour. I had the chicken satay HOP Box and a raspberry lemonade. You order via digital screens which was really easy and we didn’t have to wait long for the food. The staff were lovely and very welcoming too.

I’ve tried their Pork Riblets HOP Box last week and it was absolutely delicious. This week I will be trying their bubble tea!

I visited this particular HOP while I was in London on a work trip. What an awesome addition to the the Bond St culinary scene. I went there for lunch and will deffo be coming back when I’m in London again! Hope Manchester gets one as I will making a regular trip there if so.

We visited Hop Bond Street on Saturday afternoon and it was incredible! There was a friendly member of staff in the foyer helping to orientate to the menu screens and welcoming you to Hop. She was extremely friendly and greeted us with a smile. The menu screens are easy to use, easy to find what’s on offer with lots of options of meat and non-meat dishes. We ate in, a great diner based on a traditional Vietnamese street food stall. Great decor and lively atmosphere. Our food arrived quickly and the server at the counter was equally as friendly and smiley as her colleague. Wow the food is insane! Fresh, vibrant and full of flavour. My husband and I had a different dishes so we could sample a selection from the menu. We loved every mouthful and can’t wait to go back again. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough, everything about it works and leaves you wanting to return. Incredible concept and incredible food!

These guys are the best in town! I was there a few days ago with my boyfriend and he ordered the bacon and egg pot and I ordered the bacon and egg works and it was delicious!! The staff are the kindest and the funniest ever, we will definitely come back asap!!

The best bubble tea I have had in London. I don't usually write reviews but couldn't not mentioned the very kind staff who helped me when I dropped my bag and it went everywhere. They helped and let me sit on a chair as I was flustered and then I ordered a drink and I am so glad I did as it was the best bubble tea I have had in London. Definitely will come here for food - everyone in the place was eating it and looked very happy and the decoration was so clever.
