We ordered a takeaway curry for my son who has a nut allergy. We asked if the curry could be made with no nuts and were reassured that the dish could be made nut free. When we got the dish home I asked my husband to double check with the restaurant as the dish smelt of nuts. When we called the restaurant they had not listened to the seriousness of the request nor demonstrated care in responding to my son’s allergy and the dish did contain nuts. Please do not eat here if you have a food allergy - the risk is too great - the restaurant didn’t listen nor take our requests seriously which could have been fatal.

My family and I went here recently and the food and the service was fantastic. We ordered a range of starters and curries and the flavour was incredible. I would highly recommend this place.

My husband went to pick up a takeaway & he ordered a mutton fry. He checked the food order as you do and what did we get… onion fry… there was hardly any mutton. But the joke of it was, it wasn’t even mutton. It was lamb!!! Firstly the guy at the restaurant said it was mutton then 20 mins later, owned up and said it was only lamb that they do. This includes the mutton rolls too! Absolute liars! Also pathetic portions. All the fry dishes are basically onions and peppers - don’t bother getting it. If you really want better food, go to Ganesha in Watford. I am so disappointed in their service, their food and their ability to tell the truth about their dishes. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Love Sri Lankan food so thought I'd give it a try. Ordered poppadoms, with a few different dishes - Butter Chicken, Sambar,Katharikaai Paal Curry(Aubergine Curry), Idli Special Seafood Kothu, with Pilau Rice and Naan. The poppadoms were tiny(£1.95 each poppadom with a small amount of radioactive coloured yellow mango chutney), the chicken in the Butter Chicken was bone dry & the Kothu was just inedible - congealed noodles with overcooked seafood including a rubbery whole squid, including wings. The veggie dishes were passable so I basically ate the naan and curry. Every thing including the pilau rice had a really odd taste.Ending up throwing the rest away. Considering I spent £33 on this, absolutely criminal. Avoid

Please stay away from this restaurant We ordered idli from here and it was pathetic. One was v hard and brown and other had fungus on it. I called them and they started arguing. I asked to give a mobile number so that I can WhatsApp the photo. They refused to give it and on top of it they accused me by saying I would have got it from somewhere else and blaming them. I mean seriously? Do I have that much time? I stay a bit far from the restaurant and they expect me to bring the idli back (all this happening at 9.30 pm). There was no kindness at all. Please do not buy anything from them. Look at the photo below.

Ordered takeaway - tandoori chicken tikka was totally bland almost like they had forgotten to add spices, the cheese naan was tasteless no cheese. Very disappointed!!!

Not unpleasant but the blandest curries I’ve ever had. Ordered the Ceylon (described as ‘fairly hot’), but I’ve had spicier bowls of weetabix. It was also watery. A friend ordered the tikka masala which was just sweet. Not a hint of spice. At least none of it was overly oily like you see from some Indians. A real shame as we’ve just moved to the area and had high hopes. But I don’t think we’ll be returning.

The food was excellent. Unfortunately, they were not concentrating whilst preparing the bill, and the final bill jumped 20% because we were charged for drinks we didn't order or drink. When I asked about it, there were lots of apologies, and the bill was adjusted accordingly. It's a shame because it was probably a genuine mistake, but I don't think we will go back.
