The girl manning the kiosk was polite, smiley and very helpful. We generally have a nice cup of tea here as its a pleasant spot, even in todays winds. No catering tea bags here, a proper cup of tea ! Highly recommended

Who can go to the seaside on a nice day without having an ice cream? The staff were lovely, but they did appear to have a technical problem with their card payment machine. It took a bit of waving about outside the hut to get a signal!

Enjoyed great ice cream followed by a cream tea. Quick service on the pier. The tea was a little weak to be honest but think that's because it was such a big pot. Could use slightly bigger tables for larger groups but fine for a couple.

We pop in here most Sundays for a drink or icecreamToday we were overcharged but didn't realise for five minutes. Went back to the hatch expecting to find that it was too late to challenge but were surprised that they instantly agreed and didn't even need to ask what we'd had before willingly refunding the overcharge. It was either a great trust in their customers or they knew they'd done it.Otherwise, love this place.

Lovely ice cream and really good value. Right on the front and plenty of seating. It's right by the pier.

Two nice young lady’s working there when we called by . Coffee was only £ 2 for a standard size glass , perfect price none of this absorbent price coffees you see everywhere. Nice and hot too . The other prices for all other drinks and ices were also priced very sensibly too , well done to all concerned will recommend to friends etc. . Your till will keep ringing all summer with those prices not like other outlets that will only get a few customers in and charge a fortune . Thank you again

Out for a lovely afternoon and felt like a sundae on the pier. Long queue...limited unclean tables and a particularly rude woman serving. Shame because Ice cream was nice but her attitude ruined it....Real shame

Great kiosk on the pier selling reasonably priced whippy and flakes. And they do strawberry whippy too. Good pot of tea and seating available. It's also right next to the best crabbing spot on the pier. Two hours before high tide and in they come.....

This little place is our favourite place for tea. This lady makes the best pot of tea in Herne Bay. Waffles and ice cream are delicious as are the ice creams. Staff are lovely.

Today me & my friends stumbled upon this cute ice cream parlour in the heart of Herne Bay. The pier was a walkway to a beautiful ocean with every wave rippling in the sunshine as we sat eating our sundaes. It's so nice to have a traditional ice cream parlour situated in the one place you want one to be. Highly recommended & especially the banana spilt :) Take a lovely stroll to this wonderful hut

Visited Ice Cream Sundae yesterday whilst in Herne Bay. The small hut is on the pier and was open even though it was very quiet at the sea front. The service is brilliant, the lady was really friendly. We only had hot drinks as it was a bit chilly but it's in a perfect position for a drink when crabbing off the pier.

Last Sunday my son, large dog and myself (on my mobility scooter) walked along the wonderful Herne Bay pier with friends. The sun was shining and we were greeted by the wonderful aroma of coffee, ice cream and hot waffles which we quickly traced to Ice Cream Sundae - a large, brightly decorated hut run by the ever smiling Alison - selling such delights as hot waffles with "whippy" ice cream served with a variety of sauces, a range of delicious, quality coffees and teas served in "real" cups (not paper ones) and such delights as Baileys or Tia Maria milk shakes. Our orders were quickly brought out to us as we sat at one of the pretty sets of tables and chairs in the sunshine - wonderful creamy ice creams, frothy and rich cappuccinos and even a freshly brewed cup of tea. If you ever wish to have a real "seaside ice cream" experience - this is the place to go.

On a March Saturday, in the warm sunshine, what do you choose to do, well we went for a walk, and ended up at the Herne Bay Pier Village. Ice Cream it is then.

A wonderful spot to enjoy lovely ice cream or a cream tea , with friendly old fashioned service and reasonable prices. ( not like Mackari's, where you need to take out a small mortgage to buy an ice cream ! )

We stopped here twice over the course of our week in Kent as we loved it so much. Herne Bay pier is lovely in itself - very retro/traditional seaside style and this place is in the same vein - an absolute delight. Very pleasant to sit here and look at the lovely views of Herne Bay or people watch what is going on on the pier. It was very hot so both days we had ice creams and on 2nd visit I had a lovely old school banana sundae and my husband had a retro coke float - we both loved them. Hope to return here one day.
