Después de esperar 10 minutos en la caja, tuve que gritar a la cocina para conseguir que alguien nos sirviera. Más tarde me di cuenta de esto de nuevo como una cola acumulada. El café estaba sucio, la comida horrible y muy caro para lo que se obtiene, y la mayoría de las máquinas de café / té estaban rotos. Las máquinas de refrescos estaban vacías. Los baños de la tienda apestan.

Terrrrrible customer service. From my experience the female staff in particular have a self-entitled holier than thou attitude and are very confrontational and unapologetic. They make you feel like they are doing you a favour by receiving your custom and selling you food. First experience in just the first month of opening I asked for a Submelt, which I made them aware I had never ordered on before, i asked for bbq and southwest sauce and was sternly told it only comes with southwest no bbq. I politely asked if i could just have some bbq as well when making it and was met with reluctance and angry body language/ expressions. When putting the sauce i got 1 extremely thin line of each sauce. It looked very dry - especially on brown bread - as normally the bottles are squeezed hard and you get 1 or even 2 thick lines of each sauce. She argued for about 5 minutes telling me you only get 2 lines of each 2 sauces and i pointed out that she only put 1 line of each and that they were tiny thin lines that hardly did anything. After fighting and refusing another staff member, realising i was very annoyed, told her to do as I asked. So she said “okay i will put it”. Even after she added another thin line or 2 of sauce it was THE MOST DRY subway I have ever ate! Literally ruined the start of my day off by arguing. I dont know if this is their general attitude against all customers having a preference that isnt to their liking or if its especially towards pakistani/ muslim customers. I have had relatives with the same experience and only got a good serving of sauce after threatening to cancel and not pay. This pettiness and level of service is shockingly bad for a newly opened shop that would want to please locals being the new and only halal subway on the block. Clearly they dont give a toss and dont want business. The owner needs to fix their staff before this place closes down by being avoided. having ate subways since school days and friend who own subways outside of edinburgh I know subway is all about the sauce. If it aint dripping a bit with the good stuff then youre doing it wrong! Update: went to try again as its only halal one currently in edinburgh. They put 2 stupid massive screens right in the middle in front of the counter so it blocks your view of the toppings and seeing the food/ speaking to the staff about your order. These guys must hate customer service. Next there will be a brick wall there 🤣 Clearly dont want to provide service and deal with people. Shouldve opened a dark kitchen.
