I’m actually here now trying to get in contact with reception, tried the internal phone with no answer and tried calling from my personal phone number without success to inform them that the TV is not working, tried the usual taking out batteries. Not a massive deal but something that should work and as in Pyjamas not really wanting to go down to reception to discuss

A Wonderful Stay with Exceptional Service I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. A special mention goes to Laura, who truly made a difference in my experience. She was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with a friendly smile. Whether it was recommending local attractions or ensuring every little detail was taken care of, Laura’s dedication to excellent service was outstanding. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and immaculately clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the amenities provided were top-notch. As for the food, it was absolutely delicious! Every meal I had was flavourful and well-presented. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations, thanks in large part to the excellent staff, especially Laura, the luxurious rooms, and the amazing food. I highly recommend staying here—you won’t be disappointed!

Surprisingly Decent. Honestly, I went in with low expectations, but the Ibis Coventry Centre wasn't half bad. Hot food, a great shower, and a clean (if slightly stained carpet) room were definite pluses. A few wake-up calls from barking dogs and a so-so buffet breakfast were the downsides. Overall, it was an okay stay for the price.

Normally, I’ll stay at an Ibis or any of the Accor brands as a first choice wherever I go. This is mostly in Europe though, given the more limited presence in the UK. I’ll probably swerve the UK Ibis’s in the future. Largely, the hotel is fine. It was mainly the heating, or lack of heating that was the issue. There isn’t any heating, and supposedly, the air con unit is the heater. However, the Air Con unit we had (in room 20), didn’t appear to be one of those types. It looked to be only cooling. We got back to the room about 11pm, and the room was about 13 degrees. See pictures, this in the room and the gauge is accurate. We went to reception and they came to fix it, saying that the last guest probably just fiddled with the settings. They got it working, but only to cool the room. If we put the air con thermostat above 14-15 degrees, it turned off, if we put it below, it turned on. This is why I’m doubtful the aircon unit was also a heating unit. We went back to reception, as they’d offered us a radiator when I first spoke to them. They brought us the radiator. It was one of those small electric portable ones, and not very effective (see photos). To get the temperature up, we left the shower on full heat for a bit, to try and warm the room somehow. It raised it a few degrees. By now, its about 1am, and we gave up. In the morning, with the heater having been on full power all night, the room was no 16 degrees. Because of this, our towels were also still really wet. For context, it was -1 degrees overnight, but about 10 degrees in the daytime. We stayed the 1-2 March. The bed was also rock hard, and this on top of the cold made it a really miserable nights sleep, and my long drive home the next day so much more challenging. I complained politely on the way out, and in fairness, they refunded us in full. I’d have preferred a good nights sleep though. The staff are very polite, friendly and helpful, but obviously there are issues at the hotel (see other reviews on heating). At no point was a new room offered, and the hotel wasn’t full, so I believe that all rooms are the same. I’ll use Ibis again for certain, but highly unlikely in the UK. I have a series of cancellable bookings for later in the year, and I’m intending to cancel them for competitors.

Good budget hotel on the edge of Coventry Centre. Offers good basic clean accommodation. It's getting a bit tired.... Great for one night stop over as the facilities are limited. Not bad for the money.

The room was simple but good, the receptionists were very friendly at the entrance. The coffee from the machine is delicious. The cleaning girl, I would have to start with hygiene, it was impossible to pass by her....she had a smell of sweat....and she left a smell of feet in the room that was unbearable.

No problems with the hotel, stay or facilities for me. Points I’d mention were upvc window didn’t seal adequately letting in a draft, no recycling facilities offered, and hot water temperature way too high - just a minute adjustment of the shower mixer would go from tepid to scalding.

Staff were great, Corridoor that lead to room was freezing and the room was very cold too. Considering the national paimting and decorating show was on and every hitel in the city was booked out, the drinks bar was almost empty including coke. Apparently the F&B manager was away!!! The staff let us go to the shop opposite to purchase refreshments however this didnt look good for business meetings Breakfast was good and plentiful, refreshed often

(+) Close to the station. However, it is better to call uber instead of taking a walk from the station with luggage. (+) Great standard breakfast. (-) Small room (-) The exhaust in the bathroom was noisy.

Location is its biggest pull factor - literally walk to the centre in a few minutes… Rooms are small, even for Ibis. Bathroom is a capsule in the room. No wifi for four days. Staff on front desk not updated on progress. No apology. An existing screen in the lounge area could have been used for update and apology. Breakfast ok. Room cleaning ok.

The location was good except being on a busy main road. However the rooms were tired, with the pillows being very lumpy making it a difficult sleep. Mainly my review is because the wifi did not work for our entire stay and the staff weren't able to provide any timelines for this being fixed.

Clean, basic, value for money. Comfortable bed. Cosy room with added space heater to adjust warmth. Good black out curtains. Shower warms up quickly. Perfect location for university of Coventry. Near enough to a park for running. Didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment. Note that you need to pay per day for parking.

Basic room with all you need. A few minutes walk to the city centre. Its on the ring road but there was no noise from the road. Bus stop right outside the front door on the way back home. Busses into town across the road. I would use the hotel again if Im going to Coventry. Easy to find by car. We came in via the M45 and A45.

Fabulous, Stupendous, Fantastic… Customer service and hospitality of the highest order greeted me at this Ibis and continued unabated throughout the stay with the friendly, efficient and professional hotel team striving and achieving in making my stay memorable for all the right reasons, they are truly fabulous. Located on the edge of the city centre within walking distance of the attractions, shops, bars and restaurants that the city has to offer, also the hotel is less than a ten minute walk to the main railway station with its easy connections to London, Birmingham City and International Airport together the NEC. The combined communal areas bring together the reception desk, bar, restaurant and chill out space (with pool table) these are a pleasant places to hang out. The rooms are well decorated and maintained, they are also quiet spacious, the room was also spotlessly clean. The large modern television broadcasted all the free view channels and the free Wi-Fi was a good as you get in a hotel room. The en-suite bathroom was also spotlessly clean and benefitted from a powerful shower and fluffy towels. The buffet breakfast was stupendous, good quality ingredients, cooked and presented well, attended by attentive team, my only gripe was the awful coffee. Overall a truly fantastic experience which I will definitely be repeating and urge others to experience.

My hotel room was very cold and can't be heated. They told me that the heater of the A/C only works when it's under 10° C outside. I had no good sleep because of that. It feels like around 16°C in my room. The worst IBIS Hotel I had so far.

The parking system is quite cold blood. I got fined £60 for a 15 min stay of picking up friends. With such a large empty space, you cannot be kinder? Also, I heard that this hotel leaks your personal information to a scam company called Debt Discovery Plus. The company would call you for some unrecognisable huge fines and threaten to sue you to court, using such a pressure technique for people to pay.

We had booked a room for 5 days around Christmas with an additional charge for parking for the rental car. Upon our arrival at the hotel, everything was fine. However, upon our return to France, we were surprised to find that we had been charged £35 + handling fees per day (total > €250) by the car rental company for fines issued by the IBIS parking management company for the parking that we had reserved and paid for... It has been almost 4 months since this incident occurred, and although the hotel was willing to hear our problem, we still haven't received the unjustly amount taken from our credit card.... I believe they don't care as we are foreigner customer !!!!

Recently stayed at the hotel and the shower was blocked so that meant after having a shower the bathroom was flooded, so anytime needed to go toilet we had to walk through water, all the hotel staff could do is give us a couple of towels to put on the floor which in turn just made them drenched

Completely ignored by server. He didn't even acknowledge my arrival, instead he came out of kitchen, answered the phone and turned away from me. Left and went elsewhere.
