My friend and I ordered Chicken Dansak & Garlic Chicken Balti with rice. The delivery was prompt and courteous. The food was beautiful tasting and hot, also not oily at all.

HAD A BALTI DELIVERY, MIXED STARTER WAS VERY FRESH AND TASTY.. CHICKEN AND KEEMA BALTI WAS PIPING HOT AND DELICIOUS.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR DELIVERY..

It should be call the superb sonali as the food is always superb,had a chicken madras and garlic rice last night and it was lovely and freshly cooked and hot on arrival and the delivery driver was very nice and very cheerful..TOP MARKS

Absolutely disgusting I use too live on Sutton Avenue so order here a lot and it use to be lovely 🥰 nann bread rock solid burnt so bad rice was cold and watery chicken was so tough uneible and I pay nearly 16 pound for this with delivery 🚚 I’m sticking too jasmine Indian jardine crescent not the best area but there food is amazing 🤩 wish I would have done that tonight rather than try a place I use too like 🤦‍♀️ gonna order a McDonald’s as I can’t eat what they have sent ….avoid at all costs

Poor quality - lacking any real flavour in mixed grill - tough lamb. Pathia watery and lacking depth. Will not bother ordering from here again.

Best Indian food I've had in ages. Superb biryani, gorgeous onion bhajis. They dealt with my husband's fish, shellfish and mollusc allergy brilliantly when others refuse to. Great service and nice staff too.

They left my rice out when I tried to get it, they wouldn’t answer the phone or sort the problem out. Scammers

This is the home of our take aways. The best locally, good portions and great tasting. I order online to collect and get a discount and they are usually on time.

Yesterday I ordered butter chicken and what I got wasn't anything close to butter chicken. It was like a bad korma with red colouring and pool of butter on top. I never had to negatively comment on any restaurant/takeaway but this was such a bad experience. I have to say even butter chicken from a jar is better. Chicken was full of grisly bits, which I usually don't mind too much, but there was nothing else but grisly bits in this curry. We ordered for takeout and even though we showed up on time we had to wait another half hour. It used to be so much better years ago, but it's gone downhill. So disappointing.

Vile food totally disgusting. Chicken gristle instead of chicken how can you go wrong with chicken tikka masala and murghi tikka masala

Sonali do great food! Best take out/delivery around here!! Atmosphere got a 3 as it is just a take away/delivery, not restaurant. Food is really nice and hot food is on the hot side!🤤 Get on it!! Good vegan options too! Just ask for curries that are vegan.

Ordered the food and it was delivered on time. Food was hot and great portions. All round it was good. Not overly priced considering the rise in costs.

I went there like 4-5 times and everytime i ordered different in hoping that i would get a good dish but there chicken vegetable and biryani all are worst. Plus they are too expensive; U can get a good food with the same price from somewhere else.

Awful takeaway they mix there naan dough in the sink of the kitchen which is full of bacteria and germs no hygiene standards thats why people are projectile vomitting and getting sick place is riddled with creepy crawly ants infested the chefs are really bad at cooking and they also underpay their staff especially the delivery drivers, they use upstairs for their slave labour staff to live and do everything illegally!!! Place needs to be shut down for good and police need to investigate their premises

This place deserves an award. As an Indian I have had a lot of rubbish food, but this was borderline insulting, it takes 1st place. Ordered chicken shashlick and literally 4 pieces of watery bland chicken with huge pieces of raw onion and tomatoes. The vindaloo was almost inedible it was that hot and again I'm an Indian. The naan were so thick barely cooked. The okra was long and full of water definite frozen. Don't order from here. Would love a refund. Took them 1 and half hour to make.

Don't care about customers. Ordered every week from this place and today took over 2 hours for delivery. We chased after 1 hour 15 and were told 15 minutes. When we chased again half an hour later, same message. All we wanted was an apology or explanation as usually no more than 1 hour delivery. Instead, met with hostile attitude from both the person on the phone and the delivery driver. Very poor service and unfortunately we will not be using them again. On the plus side, when the food arrives, it's great.

Ordered at 19.10pm didn’t turn up til 21.45pm no call to say it would be late tried to ring 53 times no answer so drove all the way there to be told they won’t refund me as I received the food got delivered after I told them I didn’t want the food now as I wanted to go to bed. Won’t order again from here.

Awful....... chicken was cheap sliced chicken and tasted like rubber..... naan was under cooked.... couldn't eat at all..... all ended up in the bin... the one star is for the poppadom and that was free!! Ordered from here before but after tonight never again......

I hope this review reaches Google before I die of starvation, the order is now 45 minutes late. We were told 30 minutes ago the driver was en route, we only live a mile away. Is he walking or maybe on a scooter? I would avoid Sonalis entirely if you ever want to receive your food. With my fleeting energy, I click post.....its just arrived, and its cold. Brilliant.

Food was poor and gave me food poisoning, not at all good curry Owner drives around in an Uber around the area to promote the takeaway to passengers, desperate times call for desperate measures

used to love this plsce now complete joke give a price for a meal delivery then phone to say mistake going to cost more say no turned up anyway charging the same sent him away they phoned to promise this that say okay pay the second price its cold and horrible an our fault as turned it away advoid at all cost would have given it no stars

Ordered over the phone, collected less than 15 minutes later. Payment was quick and easy. No queue or waiting around. All the different dishes were tasty, wasn't saturated with fats, although clearly can't be the healthiest option. Free poppadoms with the order as well was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend

Ordered via phone at 18.55pm still waiting for the curry to arrive at 20.15pm on a Tuesday. Taken a payment of just over £35 from my card and no sign of the delivery & no correspondence as to the delay or possible time of arrival. Edit - I’ve called back now, had a half arsed apology and should be here ‘soon’ at almost 20.30pm I hope I’m fed this absolute dream of a meal by Beyoncé riding a unicorn 👍🏻🦄

Lovely food, ordered last night and the food came in good time. The chicken tikka fried rice was very nice. Chilli chicken tikka masala tasted lovely and there was a good amount, the foil dish was filled to the top.

Before ordering from Sonali balti I would order from a different Indian restaurant that I thought was good, but I decided to try out sonali balti after seeing good reviews, and I was honestly shocked how good the food was, perfectly cooked tender chicken and the vindaloo I got was amazing and it was delivered very fast too. This is now my no.1 place to get a curry in coventry.
