Best pizza in Newcastle by a long way. One of the best I've had anywhere, and prices are really reasonable for a quick slice and a drink at lunch or for a larger pie to share.

Era un recipiente pequeño, de aproximadamente la mitad del tamaño de los McDonalds, con helado de cuchara suave, salsa fría y cubos de masa para la tos puestos por el servidor sin el uso de guantes o pinzas solo con las manos desnudas. I Scream For Pizza - Newcastle. I ordered a seemingly basic Brooklyn pizza. The dough itself is relatively thin, so it is crispy and the pepperoni stands out for a pizza flavor. it's good. There is red pepper powder on the side of the napkin. The tables inside the restaurant are narrow. Good for 2-3 people. There is a toilet inside. Intention to revisit) Average 2025.02.02 - Visit

Llamé y agarré 2 rebanadas de pizza para un almuerzo tardío, estaba esperando grandes cosas como la mayoría de las calificaciones y fotos eran buenas, y me encanta la pizza. La pizza era muy promedio, especialmente cuando se considera que era casi £ 10 por 2 rodajas. Una rodaja estaba un poco dura en los bordes donde se había vuelto a calentar, y la otra rodaja tenía muy poca cobertura. En general fue un poco de estafa y no va a volver.

Had fabulous ice cream sundaes, and pizzas looked great too. Definitely worth a visit.

Fuimos aquí para una cena tarde alrededor de 20 a 10 pm y realmente lo disfrutamos. El restaurante cerró a las 10 de la noche, pero el personal era muy amable y nos dejó quedarnos un poco después para terminar las pizzas. Las pizzas eran deliciosas, las mejores que he probado en mucho tiempo. Hacen la mitad y la otra mitad, lo que era ideal para que no quisiéramos demasiado. El servicio fue genial y por todas partes tuvimos una muy buena experiencia aquí.

La chica con el pelo corto y oscuro, piercing en el tabique y gafas es una mujer desagradable. Todo lo que tenía que hacer era tomar mi orden y dejarme decir que nunca me había sentido tan juzgada antes. Tenía una actitud horrible y desagradable y me cortó antes de que yo terminara mi palabra. Para ser honesto voy a volver por la comida, pero Dios cómo espero que ella no está allí. Al final del día elegiste ese trabajo no hay necesidad de sacar tu miseria en todos los demás, especialmente pagando a los clientes amistosos.

I was never a fan of pizza, but this is on another level. I absolutely loved buffalo soldier, totally melting in the mouth ❤️.The place is lil small though.

I called in for the happy hour pizza deal a couple of weeks back, and wasn’t disappointed. Freshly made dough, perfect base, and some rather original delicious toppings. Definitely worth heading in if you fancy something a little different in the way of New York pizza.

2 weary travellers who had seen several YouTube video reviews of this Newcastle Quayside establishment, wandered in to see what all the fuss & rave was about and the video reviews as great as they were, didn't do the service, hospitality, friendliness enough justice because these 2 lads were absolute diamonds! Helpful, great advice... Even took pity on our what was by then 30hr+ journey with a strong on the house black coffee which was gladly accepted believe me! Chose 3 varieties of huge pizza slice toppings, 3 different dipping sauces (recommended by the hosts and delicious indeed) and all consumed/devoured back at the hotel with much enjoyment! Outstanding flavours, the crisp base and oodles of topping made this a pizza to truly enjoy and remember. I love my pizza, a real foodie I am, fortunate to have tried so many around the world and 'I Scream For Pizza' without doubt ranks in the best nominations I've had the pleasure to sample and cannot recommend enough that you support and sample not just such amazing pizza, but also the warmest of welcomes and stellar service you will undoubtedly receive. We will return..... :-)

Had a 14" veggie with one half spiced up - not a problem for them and because he was so friendly taking the order, we decided to sit in to eat it. Thank you!!!!

Amazing Pizza! We had some New York slices and then ordered an extra 14 inch Pizza for £10 on the happy hour deal. The individual 22 inch slices are crispy and just perfect. We love the fact they hold their shape when you pick the slices up. The quality of the ingredients is really very high. Probably the best Pizza we have had anywhere. The ice cream gelato is just as good as the pizza and you can tell a lot of effort has gone into the products they sell.

Truffle in paradise is the beest pizza I have ever eaten and I always return to this place when I'm in New Castle but the worst front of house staff I've seen in a long time. It stands out when you're in such a sociable , friendly society such as Newcastle and it leaves a bad impression on the training standards in this shop. I work a people facing job as well and a smile goes a long way with customer service. It felt like I was annoying the staff by ordering.

Stopped here for a take out pizza on way back to the hotel. Best pizza I've had in a long time. Really nice quality, great flavour and not soggy.

Sometimes when you visit a city it's the people that make it special. I had a pizza here and chatted with Jay, who was as passionate about the pizza as he was about his local community. I really enjoyed chatting to him. Pizza was absolutely class too!

I ordered a Banana Shake, and a Buffalo Soldier Pizza. The shake was surprisingly chewy, I was constantly sucking up bits of i don't know what, which made it rather unpleasant. The Pizza though, really nice. It's a bit hard to tell Pizza sizes when ordering, as you don't know how big 14" is. But for a thin base, its nice and solid, not floppy or soggy.

Fantastic place. I was lured in by the promise of a 20" pizza, and wasn't expecting quality, but these are some of the best pizzas I have ever had. Cannot recommend it enough.

Someone shared me one slice few days back since then I have decided to eat the whole pizza ! As soon I receive the box the aroma of black truffle made me to eat even before I step in door . probably the best pizza I ever had . Black truffle made me. Pumpkin seeds , caramelised onions & mushrooms excellent pizza! Must try . Well done !

Ate here a good few times now, been okay a couple of times and the cheese is okay, but everything else is just a stodgy mess. Dough is never cooked through on the crust, and tbh it's not worth the money. Always regret not walking the extra 15 minutes to Gingerinos where it's cheaper and twice as good. Iscream has a good location though. Just replying to the comment, I make the comparison because you're both pizza slice shops in the same area. One constantly delivers excellence and one is super inconsistent, I've ate at both 5+ times. You serve new York style pizza, it should have a crunch, but its more often than not stodgy and thick and undercooked. I got my slices in like 2 minutes last night, if that.

I love this place - delicious pizza by the slice or whole pizzas cooked to order. Visited today for my “usual” which had sold out so I took a chance on a slice of vegan truffle and wished I had bought a whole 14” for a bargain £10 in the happy hour. It was SO good!!

We ordered through Uber eats , it was £36 for two 14 inch pizza, waited more than an hour, then we got cold stale pizza, was okay but very cold.

Came for breakfast, we are not from the area so literally stumbled upon this! Came to get a coffee at Deep North in Sunderland Amazing food, had an omelette which was cooked to perfection and hubby had a ham egg and cheese, the service was 1st rate from Mike. We’ll be back for tea!

Pizzas are made fresh to order with plenty of choice, service is quick and very friendly, they provide parmesan which can be used to ur liking of amount, as well as the standard salt and pepper. they do extra sauces too for a small charge and i would highly recommend the hot honey! prices are extremely good for the size of the slices; fantastic place if you’re wanting a bite on the go

The sizes of the pizza delivered is tiny compared to the pizza which looks like people get in store on the pics. Really poor value. Tasty but wouldn’t order again. Half the size of a rudys if that of a rudys in Manchester. Also order some fried chicken and they sent dessert instead

Just woke up after being sick! I went to this place last night and saw them reheating the pizzas which was understandable. But the guy reheating the pizza didn’t use gloves or wash his hands and kept touching his forehead and dirty clothes. The same guy was throwing meat pizza on top of veggie pizza when he was reheating which was just the worst thing to do in the world. I heard good things about this expected 10/10 received 1/10

Crust was hard and burnt. Top half of pizza was decent but the bottom was a mess. Not great customer service. Would have taken back but they were busy. I don't know how they can serve pizza that is so badly burnt she must have noticed. Went back and put it in the bin. Was offered a voucher for another slice but that did not appear

New York style pizzas that's packed with flavor. Friendly staffs were nice enough to explain the ingredients and how the pizzas are made. Definitely coming back for more

I've been a regular at this pizza place in Newcastle, and it's always been my favorite spot—I usually order once or twice a week. The pizzas are typically soft and crispy, just the way I like them. However, my recent experience during Restaurant Week was disappointing. I ordered two pizzas, a Frankie and a Jerk Chicken, but the dough was far from the usual standard. Instead of being soft and crispy, it was thin and hard. Unfortunately, the crust was so tough that it actually cut the roof of my mouth after a slices. I bring it back home and even tried microwaving it to soften it up, but that didn’t help much either. On a positive note, the receptionist was incredibly kind and lovely, which I really appreciated. I hope this was just a one-off issue, and I’m looking forward to my next order being back to the great quality I’ve always enjoyed.

Went to Newcastle for the weekend with the wife. Walking down the Quayside at lunchtime we fancied a snack as we had a late table booked at 9.30pm for dinner. Was going to pop into Greggs, but noticed "I Scream For Pizza" next door. Glad we did. We had Brooklyns finest and it was the best pizza we have ever had. Any chance of opening a shop in Nottingham 🍕 🍕 🍕

31 minute wait for a pizza, no warning on order, just wait wait wait wait wait. Only order in person if you're going to put up with that, because I for one will never do so again.

All food delivered was cold. Chicken wings, very dry and over cooked. Garlic bread with cheese, far too thick dough and tastless. 14 inch Pizza embarrassing thick edge very thin base again over cooked small cubes of chicken drizzled with bbq sauce, almost impossible to eat as pizza was freezing and dough was extremely tough. I don't normally leave reviews but after paying almost £40 for the above meal, absolutely scandalous, my first time ordering and last.

Absolutely heartbroken the vegan truffle in paradise has been discontinued. It's been a favourite of mine for a long time, or would have been a 5. Other vegan ones nowhere near compare.

Been wanting to come here for a long time and finally had the chance. The pizza is amazing, like it’s perfect. The only downside is the price - £14.50 for 14”pizza is a bit pricey. Personally I would price this at £12 max.

Terrible customer service I came in here today after hearing amazing reviews & really wanted to try, i stood for around 6/7 mins whilst not one out of the 3-4 staff who were around the till said a simple “ can i help you” or even acknowledged me to take an order. Unfortunately i walked out because someone came shoving behind me and shouted an order at them to which they started putting it through. I felt completely ignored and will never be returning, customer service and even a friendly smile goes a long way and this was enough to completely put me off

Although I’ve had Pizza Delivery from this place before, unfortunately this time the Pizza arrived in a shocking condition. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I feel like I have to in this case. The pizza itself was very good but for the price paid, the condition of the Pizza when it arrived was poor sadly, and looked like someone had eaten some of it. The pictures speak for themselves.

First time here on Saturday the pizzas when the order was finally right were great - obviously a very busy evening which delayed the order slightly but would definitely recommend the quality of the pizzas and would come back again.

We went for a long weekend in Newcastle and found this magical pizza place. We tried a slice each (the slices are huge) at first, and went back for a full pizza the next day and we've just finished another full pizza today. Outwardly it appears as a New York style pizza joint, but make no mistake, the bases are thin and the crusts fluffy and crispy, and the sauce and toppings are beautiful. It's much closer to authentic neopolitan style pizza, but with some really tasty options for toppings. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, too! We didn't try the ice cream but it looked incredible. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Very poor customer service from the American lass with piercings, extremely rude even after we had waited 5+ minutes to be served after the necessary gossip talk in the back. Extremely embarrassing and childish behaviour no matter what the circumstances are, least you can do is fake a smile 😂 Apart from that the pizza was ok, the jerk chicken had maybe two tiny pieces of chicken on it at most. Very disappointing and will not be returning

We are absolutely thrilled with our visit, our pizza was 10/10 and the staff were super helpful and really added to our whole experience. They had service with a smile and it really added to our day. The shop was super clean and inviting and there was a fab range of things to choose from on the menu, I personally would recommend the New Yorker pizza. Fantastic food. Had a margarita pizza and the best milkshake ever, never had such a thick one and it was so chocolatey. The staff are also really lovely and helpful, especially the American girl and the tall guy who was working in the kitchen 10/10 would recommend

Where do I start. 3rd visit here. First two amazing. Tonight what a shambles. Customer services was utterly disgraceful. Especially from the American lass with the piercings. We are in Newcastle here, friendliest place in the UK so why was I served by a person who clearly hates her job. No eye contact, abrupt with every customer, to the point it felt like a crime to ask for something. Ordered 2 x jerk chicken slices and a brooklyn finest slice. Was told one of the jerk chickens was burnt but if I wanted to try it to go ahead. Why offer a burnt pizza to a paying customer. It was burnt to the point it was inedible so I said I'd have another brooklyn finest. My partner had the other jerk chicken. Dry as hell with 2 pieces of chicken on it. The way the servers were talking to the cooks was shocking. Very unprofessional. In front of customers too. We won't be back. This was an amazing find a few yrs back but the staff need training from scratch. Not happy at all. Total shame as we were looking forwards to this all day.

Great pizza from here, only downside is very impractical and limited seating for eating in. If I were them I'd reduce the kitchen area and increase seating for more custom on rainy days

Best chocolate milkshake ever!! It’s got great chocolatey taste and it was just the right amount of milk, not overpowering the chocolate. The staff was friendly and kind too! If you ever need a milkshake, this is the place to go to

Been coming here for years, always greeted with a smile and food served quickly. Space inside is tight, but you can get your pizza to go and just sit across the road by the river... Pizza menu changes occasionally so get in forbyiur favourite whilst you can. Highly recommend the miso caramel ice cream too.

Really good pizza and nice a friendly staff

Hands down the best pizza I have had in England. I spent 13 years in Brooklyn, the pizza game is strong there. Since coming home I have ceased to find a place that I would say with confidence was incredible. When I walked in and saw the pizza on display I knew it would be quality. My first bite of the Frankie’s slice and I’ve fallen in love with pizza again. The dough is perfection, the sauce balanced, the toppings fresh and flavourful. The touch of fresh basil just before handover 👌👌 I can’t wait to try every pie! The staff member on the till was lovely, friendly and knowledgable. The chefs looked focused, can see and taste the passion they put into their food. I cannot rate this place highly enough.

Driver wouldn’t deliver to my door as I’m in a block of flats. I paid nearly £40 for this order and when I placed, I put instructions on for delivery. What was the point! When the food eventually got here it was cold and I am very disappointed because the food sounded so good when I ordered it

Amazing sundae!!! Always pop in for an ice cream when on the quayside. They are open till 10 and always seems to be popular. A small but good selection of mixes. Pizza is also amazing and fresh available by the slice or pizza. 10/10 🍕

Very generous size pizza slices. We had the local Geordie one and it was delicious. Even better when the weather is fine and you can sit opposite the shop along the river Tyne, at the public picnic tables.

I've been lucky enough to work, on and off, in Newcastle for the last couple of years. Had pizza from here many times , and never had a bad word to say, always fantastic. This week they have gone nuclear with the 'Back to the chicken stack' special. It is 'To die for '. That's all I can say.

Tasty pizza and a lush bueno ice cream

So after planning a visit here for such a long time we eventually got by yesterday. We were greeted by very welcoming staff and the whole place had this great American pizzeria vibe to it. The menu is ain’t massive, but again not to small. Plenty to choose from and some great pizza and topping choices . Perfect in our eyes. Nothing worse than a huge menu as it takes us forever to decide anyway. Which is did to be fair, after planning a trip for so long we needed to get this right. We opted to go for the Buffalo Solidier and the Back to the chicken stack. Pizza was great, didn’t disappoint, toppings were immense, dough was extraordinary and the best thing is everything is so so fresh. We also had some shakes, a Chocolate and Berry and Banana. Again flavours we amazing and shakes fresh as out. We will be back and we reccomend anyone to try this and not to take as long as we did. Total Gem
