Honestly best kebab iv ever eaten

Absolutely loved my kebab. Dropped in to order a doner kebab to go…. The ordering system is insanely ridiculous! Those ordering machines are so stupid!! Why not have face to face over the counter service??! My friend gave up and went elsewhere. Thanks to the delightful and helpful staff member Cal he managed to get my order perfect (making adjustments to my order in the kitchen which couldn’t be done by the ordering “machine”. So thank you Cal my kebab was perfectly delish!( falafel) it’s the ordering system that let’s this place down.

Really small portions, wrap was empty

Absolutely amazin' food. Can't complain how nice the meal was especially the Milkshake was very tasteful. Had a brilliant and generous service from the staff. All the best to them and to this shop as well! Thanks so much!

I've put my order through at 19:19 recived the order at 21:09. the time of my order arriving was constantly changing, there was no information that it might take longer time or anything and after I couldn't even cancel this order to order from somewhere else. please next time put a information on because waiting nearly 2 hours for a takeaway order is not acceptable for me.

No chilli sauce included. Very bland donner without it and I had paid for extra too.

I ordered chips with my order and when my order got delivered they weren’t there.

I placed an order just before seven, initially the estimated delivery was 20-40 min and the driver was quickly waiting. However the estimate kept getting later and later and there was no way to contact or ask for help. I was also asked to leave a review 2 hours after the order was made. it finally arrived just before 10pm and the food was Luke warm. I love the food from you but really really need to get it sooner and have customer support beyond refreshing the estimate page.

Chips needed a reheat but apart from that it was delicious

We ordered 4 kebabs and sauces totaling £40. We received 1 kebab and fries, and when I told the delivery driver we had the wrong order we were told to take it up with the restaurant as it wasn't his problem. Tried to call the shop and got an answer phone message saying they were too busy making kebabs and they couldn't answer the phone. The phone then got forwarded to an old man and his wife who said they are sick of getting calls about kebabs. Essentially they have stolen £40 from us and are ignoring calls and or forwarding calls to an innocent old couple. These guys are basically thieves who refuse to accept their responsibilities. Avoid like the plague. These guys are conmen.

You guys do great food but...my god what is with the horrendous music you've got blaring in there recently? It's like some chavvy council estate in there. Legitimately put me off from going in tonight.

Portions a bit small for the price. But the food was ok. It’s more about marketing than anything else. Wouldn’t buy it often or probably ever again.

After 4 years and likely 200 doners the prices have got out of control, a portion of doner was £2.75, now £5.00. Not sure what justifies close to 100% inflation. Paying for extra doner in a Berlin doner is often a waste of money because there is no extra unless you’re lucky enough to have OG staff working that day. The amount of food is completely inconsistent depending on which staff are present. They also don’t take cash! 2025 update: great current staff, mostly consistent portions and much improved all round! Still wish they took cash though

Good was cold, the chips for both heals were frock hard over done and cold! And the flatbreads had minimal sauce and were like warm at best. Bit of a shame as usually good!

Waited almost 2 hours for cold and badly made food.

Chips were freezing cold. Doner had next to no chicken and halloumi in and had a small amount of doner meat. Paid for mac and cheese bits which I thought would be on the side but they filled most of the kebab along with salad. Paid an extra £4 for them.

Really nice takeaway and I like that it’s not greasy. I recommend the flatbread meal deals (house special or buttermilk chicken) And they are the best fries I’ve ever had!!! 🍟💛

Both donners we ordered were incorrect. No salad, none of the things we asked for. Not very good at all. Was collection only so had to go out for this disappointment too. Waste of time. Waste of money.

The food is good but prepare to NEVER get your full order. I don't think we've ever had the correct order from them. Something's always wrong. Something's always missing. And then you can't ever get in touch with them. We've given up now.

Food was not what we ordered. When we tried to call up multiple times to tell them, they did not answer. Very disappointed. Will never order from them again.

We ordered at 4:25pm. With initial delivery time of 5:15. The food delivery time kept changing and we did not get our food until 6:15. We will not be ordering again. The delivery time was ridiculous and when the food arrived it was only luke warm. Very disappointing experience.

I placed the order at half 6. it took 2 hours to get here. In that time I had managed to contact Just Eat (eventually) and got a full refund, and ordered pizza, which was out for delivery by the time this arrived. never again

So dissapointed. First time wr ordered food was amazing but missing 3 portions of chips. Got a delivery tonight and chips missing again!! So will not order again. Complained and got a £1 credit back.. didn't even get our money back for the chips missing. Please don't waste your money.

They just kept pushing the delivery time further and further back, food was cold, restaurant ate completely uncontactable. This place was absolutely GREAT for a couple of years, but now o think it needs to be avoided at all costs.

For the amount of money they charge, the food shouldn't be cold and wrap was a bit dry and hard. Took one and a half hour to deliver. Over a week ago my order was accepted, then said preparing and then cancelled. Not happy really

Cold food- all of it! missing items, portions weren’t even half of what they should be. Items missing from the streetcart fries. Very poor customer service via Just Eat when requesting a full refund, as food was not edible.

poor quality from the shop, AGAIN ordered a LARGE meal and got a regular flatbread and half portion of sweet potato fries which I've paid extra for. ORDER ONLY WITH COLLECTION AND CHECK YOUR ORDER.

Got the wrong order last 2 times we have ordered from here. Latest time particularly bad, flatbread miles too thick and next to no sauce leaving it really dry. Will not be going back here. **** emailed the restaurant as requested after our poor review and haven't heard back 2 weeks later****

Used to order from here all the time best kebab in north yorshire, now has gone severly downhill, cant even cover the wrap anymore the breads that small, paid extra for halloumi and mozzerella in my girlfriends wrap when it arrived, it was just dry donner meat in there nothing else. Last time im ordering from this place unfortunately, such a shame.

Based on the first estimated time of 19:30 I finally got my food at 20:35. Order accepted by the restaurant within minutes. Rubbish

Order was wrong - ordered a large and a regular was delivered. Complained and was told because each restaurant has different orders Just Eat can’t offer a refund (or partial - I still ate the food (which is great) I just overpaid for the order as a result)). Not impressed with the process of ordering even as a 3rd party this should be better. I am confident I am Doner would see it & agree it didn’t meet what I paid for. I will order I am Doner again but not through Just Eat.

My partner and I have had our order delivered wrong the past 2 times. The first time both had katsu sauce instead of chilli sauce, and this time my partners extras were not included despite paying £2+ for them, my kebab had no salad and both of our kebabs had zero sauce in. The doner meat was also really thick which made it a really unpleasant texture. If it was wrong once it could be let go but this place has gone downhill badly. It used to be great a couple of years ago but even before the last two times the quality hasn’t been what it used to be. Seems trivial but it’s not great when you are looking forward to a takeaway at the end of a hard week, one that isn’t cheap, and the food is so unpleasant you can’t eat it and justeat give you a measly £4 refund, it’s really bloody disappointing. Lost a customer for good

I watched the drive deliver to at least 2 other addresses. My food was cold when it arrived I tried to complain and only got a small refund

ordered extras in my kebab that weren't given, food we received was dry and not worth the money. this is the 2nd time this has happened. we won't be trying again

Was bad tonight. We were missing one of our kebabs and the bread was cold and tough for the one we did get. It also looked about half the size as normal and was quite cold. You're usually our go-to on a weekend. Please sort this out.

my usual doner place is shut on Mondays so thought I'd try here. ordered a doner salad with extra chicken and extra doner. was half the size of the other place and the salad was so boring. everything was tasteless. most definitely won't be ordering from here again.

Terrible food, stone cold, no means of contact regarding the order which was took well over a hour to arrive.

Yesterdays meat hard as a rock and burnt to a crisp these guys are a trading standards offence passing off yesterday meat as edible

Doner meat was like rubber today and my large order arrived as a medium. Ben and Jerrys ice cream must have been tipped on its side at some point, melted and refrozen as half of it had overflowed down exterior of tub and inside was a mess and inedible. Not happy at all. My wifes doner was the same. Bad food for the money.

We placed an order just before 18:45 and were told our order was initially due by 19:10-19:30. This kept changing every few minutes by about 10 minutes until our order was due by 20:15 when it roughly arrived. The updates on the app about why our order was delayed weren't very descriptive and when we tried to call the restaurant to see what was going on, the number connected us to a poor random lady who had apparently been getting a lot of calls similar to ours lately.

The chips were freezing cold the donner meat was dry and hard there was very little chicken and hardly any tomato and onions there was too much sauce which made it not very nice to eat very poor for the cost . although nothing is ever done with these reviews maybe someone will read it and avoid this shop

The best Döner in town by far would deffo recommend the Catsu Curry Sauce !

I ordered a flat bread with donner meat and NO vegetables but they still put vegetables in it . I also got a side of fries which you did not make and I also bought 2 cans of coke which you also forgot

Food is amazing but please: manager, give more support to your staff! Food is great so demand is high! You need more people serving, especially when you’ve got demand from drop-in and Deliveroo.

I actually made this order on Sunday evening. It was delivered 24 hours late!

Order took over 2 hrs to arrive. The order was wrong; mayo not wanted, extra doner meat is just the same as normal. The standard order only had carrot and cabbage, no tomato, veg or feta. Halloumi was dry. Used to really like I Am Doner but it has gone down hill.

Food order was completely wrong and lack of timely contact options with both just eat and I am Doner meant we had to order from another restaurant. Ruined our evening and won’t be going back to this restaurant.

Ordered a house wrap and 2 house salads. Wrap had 1 falafel and 1 piece of halloumi and the salads only had doner and the tinniest amount of chicken - no halloumi, no falafel. Really disappointing and not what we paid for.

Both house special salad bowls were missing halloumi and falafel, had very little chicken in and were generally disappointing.
