Big Bites in Harrogate

Tuna mayo sandwich was poor quality and had no taste. I ate about half and couldn’t take any more. Repeated on me for a while afterwards. I was short changed, paying with a £20 note and getting handed a £5 note back with change, instead of a £10 note. Luckily I check my change and spotted the error. I’m a bit suspicious about this ‘mistake’. No apology either. Will never go back.

Just days ago been horrifically ill after a sandwich from here. Never had anything like it. Also on a Large sandwich why would you ask if they want 1 or 2 eggs. Then charge for it if it's a large it's a large.

Friendly service, very good value, but the sandwiches are let down by the very poor quality rolls! - Yeasty, full of air, just like mother's pride in fact

Sausage was as dry and as chewy as Gandhi's flipflops. Must've been sat in a pot keeping lukewarm for last 3 weeks.

Has to be the worst sausage sandwich I have ever had, straight in the bin. You could club someone to death with them they were so hard.

Had the cold filled sandwiches a couple of times, egg mayo, cheese savoury, very tasty, full filling 👍

Well when i asked for a beef sandwich i was expecting hot beef with mustard at least. Although indid enjoy the sandwich i think they would do better with HOT BEEF FRIED ONIONS AND MUSTARD

Staff unfriendly and discourteous , Sandwich was thrown away after one bite . Prime location and there was a queue suggesting a good standard but it was not so , Very surprised and disappointed .

I was in Ripon centre for an event and wasn't expecting Big Bites to have a gluten free option - but they did! Sandwich was nice and reasonably priced.

A great place to pick up a top quality homemade sandwich to your own specification. Just love going to this place to eat. The team who run it are so friendly.

I will always call in here when I am looking for something to eat in Ripon at lunchtime. The food is always very good quality and value for money.

Have to say it was the worst bacon sandwich I have ever had. Went straight in the bin. They obviously don't know about vegans as they offered us cottage cheese!!

If you want a quick, but nice bite, like a Bacon Butty, Big Bites is the place to visit. Lovely bacon, nice fresh roll, and salads and drinks, in fact, great. If you're only in Ripon for a day and you want something fast.....this is your place

Great place to have the perfect sandwich made to order. There is a good selection of fillings and it is great value for money.

I remember Big Bites opening about 20 yrs ago. Wonderful for a quick bit to eat on the go.

Paying nearly £6 for a sandwich, youd expect fairly good quality, this was not the case, mushrooms from a can, cheap sausages and black pudding, and a small little greasy egg :/ Either get better ingredients or charge more reasonable prices.

This is by far and away the best sandwich shop in Yorkshire. Whether it is lunch or breakfast the sandwiches are always of the highest quality. The specials of the day are particularly good

Brilliant sandwich shop with a great range of hot and cold food at great prices. Always get big potions and great quality food. Would highly recommend.

I hope this place isn't suffering with all the other places around now, its cheap, its tasty, its been here for years & deserves to stay!!!!

Good, friendly staff, good food, well priced. Prompt service. Very busy takeaway activity, obviously very popular.
