Great bakery - brown seeded loaf is really good. Always popular for hot and cold sandwiches and cakes look delicious.

Not enough staff for amount of people shop was full and only 2 people serving

Meat and potato pie , the pastry is dry like shortbread and the filling has no flavour, steak was not good also.

Great little bakery. Fresh rolls and cakes are very good. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches look very nice and are prepared well.

Nice traditional bakery with all the traditional comfort food you would expect. Good service and nice staff.

Not great a bacon batch counts as two choices of filling, two rashes of bacon, can't be much tighter. Bacon and batch good, well could be more bacon. Staff OK, not madly enthusiastic. It's just OK

Loved the bacon and egg breakfast roll, both were ideally cooked. The coffee could be stronger, but it was still good. Would recommend for a cheap, tasty breakfast.

would be no stars , over priced bland sausage roll and meat and potato pie, I don't know if they know what butter and seasoning is. The worst I've had anywhere. Wasted £4.30 . Avoid if you like good food.

Great staff very efficient great food

I come here every Friday from work for a breakfast treat.The bin lids fill you up all day and you even get a free cake. (The flapjacks are the best)

Good bread and tasty sausage rolls

Hopeless. Turn up at 8:30 for a sausage butty, told we had to wait 20 minutes, then told its another 40. Don't go here if your in a hurry!

The one on Cross Lane is always good but you do have to get there early enough, before they sell out of everything.

We have had many a tasty freshly made roll from Hurst's and they give you a choice of cake to go with it

Just travelled from Manchester to pick something up & wanted chippy but closed, so nipped in for something me & my dad could eat on the drive back. Got a traditional pasty each which the lady reheated for us. The traditional pasty was sooo delicious & we both thoroughly enjoyed it!!!

I called in here on my way to my Grandmothers to pick up some lunch. I bought 2 Turkey batches that were both tasty, however they had no Cranberry sauce. Also the lady serving me was lovely so if you are the area please pop in because they do good cakes and savoury baked goods too.
