Really enjoyed this place everything was fantastic

Decent place for some authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Went there to meet a friend, enjoyed the casual vibe with good and quick service. Would recommend their spring rolls and Pho.

Seems it's now my "go to" when down in London so an overdue review - food is delicious and out quick and the service is spot on. Can't go wrong.

Great food, good portions and freshly made

This is a very authentic Vietnamese place. Their banh mi is the closest to Vietnam I’ve had in London. Beautifully prepared. Kind and helpful staff. A new favourite.

They said they were fully booked, but the restaurant was half-empty. We came back an hour later and it was still very empty. Lazy staff.

My go to place for Vietnamese cuisine, and the customer service is top tier, they are all amazing but one of the servers called Viki, really does a wonderful job to make me feel at home :)

Got the vegan pho with tofu and an extra egg. The broth tasted nice and there was plenty of tofu in it. The mushrooms tasted a bit weird though when I normally like mushrooms. They gave water with mint and lime which was a nice touch. I think I'd come back to try other things instead as their menu is quite extensive.

Went from a great experience by having the vegan pho, in the past, to the worst experience by having the back bean dishes. Not good at all. Menu misleading by showing option between rice and vermicelli, but not included in the price. Overpriced at the end....

What a superb guy! The owner and staff are very friendly. The food!! I had never had a vietnamese sandwich before, today I had the chicken. Man how good was that. From the first bite it was flavoursome. I absolutely devoured this. Recommend 100!

The best Vietnamese I’ve ever had

Just tried the Grilled Beef Bánh Mì and it was DELICIOUS!

I found the food to be average and overpriced. The mains didn’t come with any rice / vermicelli, which was disappointing. Will not got back.

We come here every time we need our fill of Bún bò Huế and it never disappoints! Super authentic, right down to the chả lụa sausage and thinly sliced banana blossom. Rich, spicy, and salty, perfect antidote to the cold outside. The huge portion for £14ish is fair as it's very filling. The roast pork banh mi should not be missed either - everything about it is wonderful. Finish off with a condensed milk coffee and you'll be very happy!

Impressive, a bit hidden away, the pho broth is excellent, full of taste, perfect clarity, delicious.

I had the Beef Pho and Papaya salad. It was incredibly delicious, I wish I didn't live so far away from here, I'd be a regular.

Went here whilst in town for work. Usually just eat at a hotel or pizza place as feel like a loner but ventured out on this occasion. Glad I did! I travelled Vietnam in my younger days and this bought back memories. Food was sooooo tasty. I had the saigon spring rolls and the hue pho, washed down with a beer Saigon! Amazing. Only slight niggle was that service was a little slow... I was in the corner and on my own so a bit forgotten I think but I had nowhere to be so not a massive issue. I'd definitely return if staying in this part of town again.

Really subpar Pho. The banh my was good. Their XL portion seems like a bait and switch since the amount of food is similar to a supposedly smaller bowl.

Iced-coffee has full of ice with 2 inch coffee only. Re: thanks for your response today. I have had ice Vietnamese coffee many times! Only your restaurant serve with full of ice with only 2 inches coffee! Have you tried other Vietnamese restaurants? You should try “Banh Mi Bay”!

We came here on a deal - wasn’t sure at first due to mix reviews. But it all depends what you order. We loved the mango and prawn salad (sauce was good), seafood soup noodle, the vermicelli with spring rolls and fried rice. Lobster tail was over fried salt and pepper style, so that’s a waste. The fish was simply 2 fillets fried and sprinkled with chopped mango - would have been better if a whole fish was fried and topped with a mango sauce. Stir fry beef was standard. Despite these unimpressive dishes, we enjoyed the meal. Staff were helpful.

The pho is extremely good, and the mango salad is just as impressive. The sharing platter was okay—nothing special, something I could take or leave. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, with big smiles. Overall, a pleasant meal with standout dishes. I would happily go back to try more different dishes.

Unfortunately, they changed the chef and staff. The sweet and sour chicken was very salty (I was told thats how they cook it!). The egg fried rice was nice though.. Won't be going back again.

Passing by saw the pho sign from far and saw queue outside and decided to take a chance and it was spot on from the minute I stepped in the way I was greeted and they explained the menu in an easy way for me and the best was that they serve halal meat and being from a Muslim background that was perfect for me ,the food was so so good and tasty as well as the size of the portion ,I would definitely be back and every time I come to London very highly recommend this place it's a must go you won't regret it

Food so good im writing this review while still sitting at the table! Holy god this place does a DEADLY banh mi!!!! Can only speak for the banh mi though the food on the tables around me also looked stunning. I wandered in about half an hour ago for an off the cuff dinner this Sunday evening, and as a good sign already the restaurant was pleasantly busy even on a Sunday. They were able to seat me as a party of 1 immediately, and my order was taken promptly. I asked which of the banh mi’s was most recommended out of the crispy pork belly and the aromatic duck and the lovely waitress recommended pork belly - she was right. It came quickly, within 10 mins, and there is a separate little area out the front where you can see someone making the banh mi’s fresh to order. The bread was so delicious, crispy crust and airy inside, and it was stuffed to the brim with slices of crispy pork belly (not dry at all but also not too fatty which is perfect for what I like). It was honestly a flavour bomb, and full of shredded pickled carrot and daikon and dripping with this unreal sauce as well as chicken liver pate. also just a really understated cosy cosy place, and I was left alone to enjoy my book without being rushed out. I paid just over £15 for a pot of jasmine tea and a crispy pork banh mi, including service. Will defo be returning!

We stopped by en route to an event, and this restaurant looks unassuming on the outside, hidden by a Bahn Mi sandwich shop. Inside we were greeted by soft lighting and tasteful decorations, as well as an extensive menu. I chose the beef steak pho, while my partner had the Buddha noodles. We saw that this restaurant has won awards while inside sipping Hanoi beer and lychee juice. The food was incredibly prompt, and completely delicious. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try, as it is also very affordable - especially for London prices!

Stumbled upon this place last night when looking for a late night dinner. Honestly amazed it stays open so late. Food was amazing, portions were generous. All the vegetables and garnishing was fresh which is a big deal to me, esp that Mango Papaya salad, lovely. Literally cannot go wrong even if you've never had Vietnamese food before. Drinks are also really nice Staff were polite and fast. Kinda obsessed, I will be visiting again to try out more of the menu 😊.

The food is lovely if you want to try a nice vietnamese cuisine ,the atmosphere is lovely not so busy and you find a place to sit and enjoy your meal. Is not Halal as they serve pork but you can have a vegetarian option.

- Cozy restaurant with a homely vibe - Quick and friendly service - Appetizers tasted great - However, as a Viet myself I didn’t find the broth dishes (Pho and Bun Bo) authentic at all. The broth didn’t really taste correctly and the Bun Bo also came with ham sausages which is not how it’s supposed to be. - Good drinks options, I enjoyed the mocktails I would probably be back to try more appetizers and other non-broth dishes.

I love this restaurant so much that I can have their Bun Bo Hue 30 days a month. That’s how much I love the food. Service is quick and staffs are friendly. And I also wanna say I’m sorry that staffs have to deal with racism and racist jokes from uncultured, uneducated, and rude customers. Dealing with racism and microagression gives people trauma, toxic stress, and definitely impacts staffs’ well-being in the long run. I hope their manager is taking actions to protect these lovely people’s mental health and also to counteract racists.

Authentic Vietnamese food that tastes delicious. It is Halal too and offer a variety of foods. I recommend the Beef Pho.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The service is absolutely amazing. Every time I have been they have been so friendly and offer amazing recommendations. The food is wonderful - the beef curry and mamas chicken being two personal favourites. The Thai pancake, and summer rolls are also something special. I have brought many people here and they all absolutely love it! If I could, I would eat here every night.

My chicken and prawns were both extremely dry in the Singapore noodles. It was bland and overcooked sorry.

So tasty and authentic Vietnamese food

This is hands down the BEST bahn mi in London!! Made fresh to order every time, the bread is always crispy and fresh, delicious salad, aromatic pate and a huge helping of massive freshly cooked meat! Highly recommend you get the prawns with chicken liver pate. The woman who works in the takeaway window (seemingly everyday?!) is so friendly and an outstanding chef! We live a few minutes walk away and this is categorically the best food you can get for under £10 in the Shoreditch area ❤️

Chicken wings of crack! A pokey and popular venue. Having visited a few times, I've always seen it busy so making a reservation would be wise during busy periods. The food has been reliably high quality and the portion are generous. The decor is very down to earth and casual, it probably doesn't accurately represent the quality of the offering

This is a Vietnamese restaurant run by a Vietnamese owner. I ordered spicy rice noodles and beer. I requested that the cilantro be removed and it was reflected well. I visited because I wanted spicy and warm food, and was able to leave feeling psychologically satisfied. Good for detox the day after drinking alcohol.

Great banh mi !!!! Super soft - crunchy & came out warm. So much filling - the veggies were pickled to perfection!

The food was wonderful! My partner is Vietnamese and said it was the most authentic food he's had in the UK so far. The only suggestion I would make is that some dishes came with nuts, but were not listed as ingredients on the menu. Nut allergies can be fatal, it's extremely important allergens are communicated in some way, I'd really encourage you to update your menus.

The food here is amazing, I ordered a pho, it warmed me up and it was very delicious! The portion was very big as well so I appreciated it. The service was good, they were very fast! I would come here again it's a good place❤️

Great food and super service. Great sized portions and plenty on the menu to choose from. Staff were friendly and professional. Damn London and air conditioning though, my only minor complaint is that it was quite warm.

Service was good. But we didn’t really enjoyed the bun. Bun ga nuong sauce is too sweet and grilled chicken lacks the “grill flavour” (relative to neighboring Vietnamese restaurant around the hood). The sour fish pho soup tasted pretty flat - diluted and just plain lime tasting.

Super place in a nice zone. The prices are super good for the hood and the food is amazing.

5/5 . Amazing food at reasonable price and massive portions. Fresh and delicious flavour in all the dishes with efficient and friendly service. Overall great meal out and we had leftovers to take home at about £20 per person. Only negative to mention is the bathroom was dirty but don’t let that put you off.

Pho quality very bad! Just a few small pieces of beef in the whole bowl of noodles! The bean sprouts looked dirty and brownish! Should have taken photos to share my disappointment to other customers . Not worth coming! Toilet conditions horrible and next to the kitchen!! Should have taken the photos of the toilet too! Simply disgusting in a restaurant!

The best Vietnamese coffee in London. The sweetness and coffee flavor are just right. For noodles, I ordered beef and brisket rice noodles. The soup tastes fresh and delicious! The portion size is indispensable, as you can add bean sprouts, coriander and mint. Already a London love❤️

GO EAT HERE. The service is so friend and the food is amazing. Portions are also large. I am vegetarian and there are loads of options. This was the best Vietnamese food I've had. Order the HOI AN BANH‘ XEO PANCAKE because it is delicious.

The best pho broth I’ve had in London! I got the combo and the tendon was really tender and soft. The spring rolls were also delicious and really crispy. Servers were lovely and attentive. I’ll definitely be returning soon!

Ordered a beef banh mi on ubereats but some parts of the beef were undercooked and very clearly pink - and within an hour of eating this I had a terrible stomach ache and felt sick

I'm not sure how this got such good reviews, every thing was bland. The beef with lemon grass in the cold noodle had absolutely no flavour and was very dry. The pho broth tasted like salted water. The fried noodles were equally bad. To top it off my stomach did not feel right after eating. Avoid if you actually Vietnamese food. *Edit* response to the owner below, I can't believe you caused me of not visiting your restaurant. In fact I am now convinced that your other reviews are indeed fake or from people who have never been to the many actual authentic Vietnamese restaurants in Shoreditch.

First time trying this place and it was very good! We ordered the chicken pho and tofu summer roll and both were delicious and very nice portions.
