Food was great and so we're staff. The only complaint I would have is bigger tables. Our table was so small and wobbly, the staff did their best to fix it but it was annoying when the table was also so full

One of my favorite spots in London: the flat iron steak, mac & cheese, and creamed spinach are my favorites. The service is always great, and the ice cream at the end is a delightful surprise!

I recommend it, it is located in a great place in London full of nightlife. Their specialty? The meat and as a Tuscan from the Florentine province I can say that it was EXCELLENT!

Best steakhouse I been to you get free popcorn for starters real special and you get orange water instead of lemon I personally recommend the flat iron steak it’s chewy but soft and also you get a tiny knife that can be a souvenir or swap for a free ice cream it actually tastes like what you get in a ice cream shop.they even have a popcorn machine for the free popcorns.

Excellent steak that was cooked to perfection (medium rare) - I really enjoyed this meal. I can also recommend the chili mayo sauce which was delicious.

The new Wagyu Steak is incredible, I want to give a shout out to Edurne, she was lovely and made us feel really comfortable. I would a 100% recommend!

Lovely restaurant with great atmosphere. Food and cocktails are very reasonably priced (especially for London) and very delicious. The garlic mash is to die for. Excellent service by Luca, made my boyfriend's birthday dinner memorable! Free ice cream was a great finish to the night. Came in without a reservation and we were seated right away.

Upon arrival, this place had a nice warm vibe to it. I ordered the iron steak dinner in specifically (Medium) , arrived extremely rare. Asked the waiter to send it back.... waited 5 minutes or so, in that time. My partner and her friend had already eaten halfway through theirs, which were also Medium! As the 2nd attempt came back, I got the exact same as previous, really rare steak... it was only a minute in or so after separating the steak with the knife, I saw the same results again... One of the waitresses came over and asked if everything was okay with your meals. I immediately said yeah I've just got another wrongly cooked steak in which I felt hesitant and embarrassed to send it back YET AGAIN! But she reassured it's no problem, so I said alright okay thank you... By the time I received the 3rd attempt, it was more like I specified, 'Medium' - It was a really dissatisfying experience because my partner and her friend had pretty much finished. Left this experience, alongside ordering the fries with it, feeling still hungry! The sauce which comes with the steak is beyond stinge in its self. £1 for few teaspoons in a tiny, in what I could only describe as half an egg cup, not worth it at all! Really disappointing, shame.. because the place had a good vibe.

Atmosphere was great servers were great food tasted delicious but was a tad bit too small, ice cream and popcorn was amazing.

I love flat iron and had a fantastic evening with great service from the staff. The Italian tomatoes are back on the menu for the summer which are absolutely delicious! Steak was tasty, fries crunchy, shame they no longer serve the free salad alongside the steak

Have been to Flat Iron a few times and can't deny the steak, sides and sauce are amazing and good value for money. A tad on the salty side but nothing to complain about. Cocktails are lovely but a little small. Free beef dripping popcorn and ice cream cone is such a treat 💖

This place exceeded my expectations. The cut of steak is not a premium as would normally go for, but oh my this steak was as tender as a fillet. Better steak than most places round London. Had the bone marrow garlic mash The fries wasn’t to my liking but sure others would disagree. Would highly recommend for a first date Service was brilliant.

Lovely food however the music was way too loud, impossible to have a conversation. And the soft drinks need readdressing. Some of the juices taste like bathroom fresheners, just too overwhelming.

The steak was really good, and i also had a cocktail which was also really good too the mac and cheese was a bit too creamy and it was hard to combine wit the steak but otherwise i will definetley be coming back again.

We had a really nice night there. Simple food cooked well and service with a smile. We had a medium cook on our stakes which came out brilliantly and our waiter Joel was super helpful and even though we are regulars to the restaurant , we felt at home at a new location. Camilla was also super lovely and even recommended a new drink on the menu. It was a great recommendation and we left super happy with everything. Will be back for sure!

In the beginning this restaurant had a nice atmosphere and I love the food here, although today the food wasn't all that nice and some parties didn't recieve what they ordered unfortunately. The atmosphere has been reduced to a hen house with loud music so people have to shout.

Simple but delicious steak, served plain seasoned with just salt and pepper at the table. We ordered ours medium, and it was done perfectly, with slight pink on the inside. There is the option of ordering side dishes and sauce to go with the steak. For side dishes, we ordered creamed spinach and roasted aubergine with mozzarella, chips, and mashed potatoes. They were all delicious and not too salty. Definitely recommend this place. You even get free soft serve ice cream at the end of the dinner. Best to make a reservation as they are busy most of the time

Came here for father’s day. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Would recommend the mash, the creamed spinach and the dripping cooked chips. The ice cream at the end was the perfect way to finish the meal. Staff were lovely, and very nice atmosphere.

Food service and atmosphere top notch. Quality of steak is excellent. Very simple menu done very well. Love the popcorn offered before meal and little charm you trade in for a whipped ice cream at the end of the meal as you leave. Nice different atmosphere. Very nice lighting and great buzz about the place. You won't be disappointed.

100% recommend. Great steak at such a reasonable price. Went with a mate, we each got a steak, two sides and a cocktail and it cost us £35 each. Beef dripping fries were up there with best fries I've had. Free scoop of ice cream at the end is a touch of class.

Good steak for a very reasonable price. Slightly oily but nothing too bad. Decent service even if there were not enough staff. Busy at lunchtime, as expected.

Service was nice, the atmosphere was a little intense as tables are very close to each other and there is also a bench in the middle of the restaurant for seating and you are literally crammed next to strangers whilst eating a meal. Not cool. The main issue was the portion sizes. It was literally a joke. We had to order 4x steaks for 2 people and we still weren’t that full. The steak sizes are RIDICULOUSLY small. You end up paying so much money in the end as you have to order way more than one steak. Our bill came to 200 quid - two people and we didn’t order desserts… The place is a scam. Their ice cream on the way out was also horrible. My and my partner both thought the place was a joke.

I guess this brunch is my favourite one, I love them cozy atmosphere and lovely staff they make us every time like we are home. And them aubergine side it’s very delicious.

Really enjoy steak here really worth value. However this time round the steak felt abit cold not hot like it had just been cooked. Everything else was fab!

I have been dining at Flat Iron since it opened and can honestly say that the food for the price is great, Tender cuts, and the mushroom sauce is to die for!!! The service is generally on point! My only complaints are that at the curtain rd branch, they would not allow me to take out once, which was sad as i was staying at a local hotel and wanted to eat it in bed on that occasion. Finally on my last visit, i asked for my steak to be more well done, they returned with a new steak, and then charged me for 2, I was with clients i wasn't paying attention so only noticed once I had returned home, very disappointing!!!

Fast paced, simple, great food, really welcoming team. I had a great time and I'm a steak perfectionist! Really impressed - a juicy well cooked sirloin, chips were amazing, tried a beer I never heard of too. 10/10 from me!

I ordered a medium sirloin which was served to me well-done but because I starving I just ate my food without complaining as I didn’t want to send back and wait. Also, the overcooked sirloin I was served was small as it wasn’t the full cut anyone would expect to see on the plate. I’m usually a fan but quite disappointed this time unfortunately. At least the ice cream made up for it

One of the best value for money eats in London

My recent visit to Flat Iron Shoreditch with my girlfriend was absolutely unforgettable, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Gok, the manager, and Luca, our amazing waiter. From the moment I walked in, Gok’s warm welcome and infectious enthusiasm set the tone for a perfect evening. His attention to detail and genuine passion for his role were evident in every interaction. He ensured that everything ran smoothly and that all guests felt special. Luca, our waiter, was equally outstanding. His friendly demeanor and impeccable service made our dining experience truly delightful. Luca’s knowledge of the menu was impressive, and his recommendations were spot on, enhancing our culinary adventure.Stay Vegan brother! Together, Gok and Luca created an atmosphere that was both relaxed and refined. Their teamwork and dedication transformed a simple dinner into a memorable event. I can't recommend Flat Iron Shoreditch enough, thanks to these two exceptional individuals. Bravo, Gok and Luca!

2 stars for food, 5 stars for service. I got the Wagyu and silly me perhaps but it tasted nothing like Wagyu - it is tough, extremely lean, and redder than a usual Wagyu cut so that I find it difficult to believe that it is in fact Wagyu. Maybe avoid my mistake and get something else. Everything also tasted way too salty for me. Probably a better experience for others but couldn’t finish my steak and seriously annoyed myself for picking a place where I couldn’t enjoy a nice meal during my limited time visiting London. Good service though!

Locale monotematico: solo carne alla griglia e qualche contorno, mala carne è buona e cotta bene. Servizio veloce, camerieri gentili, prezzi nella media a parte il vino un po' caro. Locale molto rumoroso.

Carte simple et efficace de bonne viande. Les sides sont tops. Le vin aussi. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Juste un peu bruyant.

Absolutely delicious food, and great service from Ruben!

Staff were great, got myself, my wife and two children in when it was busy. Nothing was too much! Staff were also helpful with dietary requirements. Really lovely evening!

Was going to give this place 3 stars as my flat iron steak was actually quite disappointing. I ordered it medium but it definitely came out medium rare. There was lots of stringy inedible gristle in the steak that I had to eat around too. I came in with high hopes and I was somewhat disappointed in my meal. The chips were very good, fresh and hot. The popcorn they give you as an appetizer is fine - different but not life changing. The price is good, at 14 pounds for a steak, but the steak tasted like a cheap steak. Also, maybe I should've ordered it with a sauce, I was hoping the steak wouldn't need sauce. Service was adequate, not super friendly but not unfriendly. The thing that blew me away was the complimentary ice cream. I wish they didn't give this to you on your way out, as it would've been nice to sit down at my table and enjoy the ice cream, but this may have been the most delicious vanilla soft serve that I have ever had and the chocolate shavings sprinkled on top were nice too. They make this vanilla soft serve themselves and I could tell, the vanilla flavor was just so robust. I wish I could come back just to get the ice cream, since my meal was very subpar but wow I would come back just to get that alone.

Had an amazing night at flat iron and the price was very reasonable with quality food. We were in a big party of 16 and the food and service was outstanding. We had the luxury of Camilla as our waitress and she didn’t disappoint, she went above and beyond to cater for our large party, she was great with the children and brought a smile to the table. A must visit if you are in shoredish.
