Hungry Shack Wallsend in North Tyneside

Used to order from these all the time and had no problem but last few times my order never arrived and you can't get through to them on phone would not reccomend

The food was okay and I didn’t have a problem with it tho the chicken was soft on the inside it wasn’t even white meat it was just watery texture which made me feel sick and they charged me a extra 1 pound when I readed what I was ordering and added the price which was 2.50 and they charged me 3.80 the knobs don’t go here they scam you

Food never arrived over 2 hours after ordering and an hour after expected delivery time had to cancel order

Food quality was nowhere near as good as the late lamented Hungry Shack Benton - and the menu was more restricted as well. Burgers don't come with Burger Sauce but BBQ, and they didn't include a drink with the meal (or offer the choice of one)

shocking service order was missing items then I was told I would need to wait an hour for the missing items. I then called back as it still hadn't arrived to be told I wasn't getting it they were busy and I never paid the full price anyway (I had discount from collecting the just eat stamps). then he was arguing with me wanting to know when I was "angry" which did make me angry. food was not nice what we received bring back hungry shack benton

didn't get my cans with my burger meal or bottle with my chicken meal

The food was not good, the chicken tasted and smell rotten , we rang up to say and all we got back was no no I send another, no I don’t want more off chicken, will not be ordering again from here

one kid wanted KFC and the other wanted pizza so thought I'd order from here as u can get both, both kids happy and I ordered the big mixed grill absolutley spot on well worth the money thanks

Was freezing cold and garlic sauces where sour

All good but the extras weren’t added to the cheesy garlic bread or the pizza

The delivery time said 1 hour, but it arrived after 30 minutes, so I was pleased with that. The food was fresh, and a decent size portion for the price. It wasn't very hot though, and a few items were either substituted or put in the order in error. I ordered chicken wings and got strips, chilli but got garlic (not really a huge issue). I would order again as the food was tasty.

Burnt to an absolute crisp didn’t even eat it was a shame to say the least

food arrived late by 45 minutes and most of the food was cold and dry. Not very happy as this was the first experience ive had issues from delivery. Wasted my money as most the food couldnt be eaten and had to be thrown out.

ordered a Chicken kebab at 6:25pm. 2 hours later still not delivered. Rang up they said it’s on the way. 2 hours later still nothing. Just didn’t bother delivering and no apology or refund given. But the food is always lovely so suggest you collect it rather than get delivery x

Food was 2 and a half hours late chips were burnt to a crisp the whole cheese layer on top was black ordered 3 chicken strips and 1 of them was just a bone bit straight into it and nearly snapped a tooth I could of chocked the lot imagine a child bit into that what a joke never going back there I would like to contactsoneone in charge too coz I want my money back and more

SFC chicken from here is amazing always cooked to perfection . Delivery on time would absolutely recommend.

Food arrived lovely and hot, so no complaints from this, and almost everything we ordered was there, except the big bottle of pop. I also called to ask them to write on each box which were classic strips and which were sizzler but this didn't happen but thankfully we worked it out. Would be happy to order from them again, and was a lovely return from holiday meal, thank you 🤩❤️

ordered food at 10:30 didn't come till after 12:15 in morning

They missed items off our order and said we had to reorder to get it to us even though it was them that missed it.

missing topping on garlic bread, nachos were terrible, really dry with no sauce, however everything else was really decent. not the best in the world, obviously, but a great go to level. would have tried pizza too if there was larger sizes. thank you

Ordered the 6 chicken nuggets and fries like I’ve done before and what turned up was tiny frozen chicken nuggets not even worth the £5.50 I paid. Went back to get them changed for the lad behind the counter to say they don’t have them in and get given frozen chicken nuggets AGAIN. Don’t have the nuggets on the menu if you don’t have what you advertise in stock. Simple.

Highly recommend ordering from elsewhere if you are ordering online. They seem to randomly decide whether or not to deliver at all despite confirming the order and saying they deliver to the address. I have just waited over an hour and a half, contacting App support etc to find out they decided they don't want to deliver to my area today (they have done several times before with no problem?), didn't make the food or intend to deliver, or even inform me of this! They were expecting to keep the money and not deliver food. No idea why this is, they said to the app support that they have told me personally that they don't deliver to this area but I have never spoken to any of them before in my life. I have no idea what is going on in their takeaway but recommend you stay away

26 quid for 2 mixed wraps, wraps were tiny and the meat was like chewing gum. mixed meat to them is, 3 red pieces of chicken covered in whatever sauce I did not ask for.

Food was unreal, really hot and fresh. Did miss my can of pop though but the quality of the food compensated for that will 1000% be back again

Came in 15 minutes absolutely piping hot and was absolutely delicious definitely recommend wipes the floor with the like of dixy chicken etc definitely worth it

Food was lukewarm on delivery and dry. Delivery guy was kind and apologetic about delivery being late.

Quality was good as usual, however over the last few months the quantity is reducing. Why???

food was on time. delivery driver was lovely and kind. I phoned before my order arrived and requested a side portion of literally just red cabbage as I had a craving lol and I was sent a huge box of it. the man on the phone was lovely and happy to help. the tandoori chicken wrap was honestly something else, I always go to high quality indians and this was probably better, lots of flavours and hints of spice with fresh salad inside. boneless chicken was better than kfc. I will be returning

great quality as normal but unfortunatly the lamb chops were missing from the king mix grill, never happened before so will put down to a honest mistake. did make me sad though :(

I love hungry shack I’ve worked there ate there for years. And I’ll never leave haha it’s far too tasty to not have a hungry shack on a Sunday evening. Thank u so much for another beautiful meal as always chicken was freshly cooked perfect fresh salad golden chips and kabab fed 3 adults and 2 dogs to perfect bank holiday cheat day. X

I mean a week they could of easily spoke to the manager and sorted it out! loved ordering food from here but never mind!

I can’t say this was a great meal; the beef burger was burnt to a crisp I was scrapping it off with a knife! The chips arrived soggy and the burger bun was stale. It went in the bin.

Chips were cold, onion rings were cold and were so over cooked… thought the kebab wrap was hot as it still felt it till I bit into it, was not nice at all, over half of it went into the bin, didn’t bother calling as I wouldnt wanted to have a replacement.. first time getting from here…NEVER again…

Delivery was slightly late but the driver couldn’t apologise enough for being sent out of area first to a delivery. Lovely delivery driver, staff very helpful when called to chase up delay. Ordered 2 southern fried wraps+2 kinder milkshakes. Wraps were unreal, full of flavour. Best milkshakes I’ve ordered in a long time. Even with the delay food arrived hot. Very happy with the food from here. Will definitely come back!

Rang the restaurant to ask where food was twice when it did arrive 20 minutes late the meals where wrong my partner order 8 wings meal and got a 8 chicken fillet meal the food was stone cold we tried to ring the restaurant for ages after I think they knew them made a mistake seen it was my number and completely egnored the phone we rang for about half an hour straight, not on at all

Nearly everything was perfect only issue i have is burger was supposted to have spicy cheese in and it had normal cheese slice.

Food was good but the description was inaccurate. Munchie boxes are described as served on a naan bread. What arrived was a large tortilla, not a naan.

Absolutely disgusting. Everything burnt. Don't know if the chef as changed but definitely would not recommend ordering from here.

I really enjoyed my food from here, much better than the more common food joints with drive throughs. I had 1/4 burger & chips, with a can of pop and a portion of onion rings. The bun was toasted without seeds. I basically wolfed it down quickly, does anything else need to be said. English might not be the staff's first language, but once you get your order sorted, it was ready fairly quickly and I was on my way with my friend and their meal too. They enjoyed their different meal too

I ordered lamb chops but I didn't receive them I got pieces of lamb instead, i got a pitta bread not a naan bread & I didn't get my pot of chilli sauce

First time customer, I ordered 1/2lb Beef Burger with 7up can and Galaxy Caramel Milkshake. Beef Burger was absolutely delicious very tasty topped off with a lovely tasty Garlic Mayo. I feel pricing was fair and delivery time was fairly good as well. Next time I'm in North Shields area of Newcastle I'll definitely consider Hungry Shack.

The fries are warm and not crispy, the chicken is good and crspy, yet haven't included thigh meat as requested, the delivery is slightly late
